Truly, Madly Texas Eve Gaddy

Description:
Can they turn one spectacular night into a lifetime of love?

After a disastrous ride forces world champion saddle bronc rider Chase Walker back to his family's ranch to recuperate, he’s happy to distract himself for a night with a mysterious, gorgeous woman. It should have just been a one-night stand, but she’s unforgettable.

Thanks to her cheating ex-fiancĂ©, Ella Slade is done with rodeo cowboys...until she meets a sexy cowboy who catches a thief who stole her purse. What harm can one night of indulgence do? A lot, apparently, because when she arrives at her interview for a ranch manager job, Chase turns out to be her prospective boss. She’s adamant she won’t mix business with pleasure, but Chase suggests a deal—Ella takes the job, and they pretend that night never happened.

The longer they work together, the harder it is to pretend. Chase knows he’s falling for his midnight lover, but can he convince Ella to risk her heart again?

My Review:
Life is not all about roses and butterflies, sometimes its about horseshoes and cowboy hats. When Chase has a run in with a horse and comes home to help his siblings he meets Ellla and things get interesting. Ellla has a broken heart and goes off to look for a job. This was such a fun book to read. I really love small-town romances I love how the author draws you in and makes you feel like you are right there in the middle. I really Liked Damaris she was what you see is what you get but also has a huge heart for her family. This book does have adult language overall this book was a fun read and I can't wait to see what happens next with this family. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Taryn is hiding a dangerous secret, and no matter how hard he tries, Jace can’t stay away—especially when Taryn is at risk. And especially when the attraction he thought he’d buried long ago is back and hotter than ever. Will he be able to trust Taryn again?

Taryn Hillman’s world fell apart one horrifying night, and it’s never been the same since. When she sees a small chance at untangling herself, she takes it, though it means returning to Clearview—and seeing Jace again. But when he vows to protect her, will Taryn take a chance, and this time, never let him go?

My Review:
I feel like you never know what you are going to get with this author and that was very much the same way this book. I feel like in the beginning it seem so twisted but Jace was not going to give up on Taryn no matter what. I feel like there are some tough subjects but the author does not hold back  I really liked Taryn she fought hard for what was right and wanted to protect those who she loved. There is adult content in this book so may not be suitable for all. Overall I really enjoyed this book it will totally keep your attention that's for sure. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

And she soon finds Aaron’s formidable exterior hides a sensitivity and caring that she’s quietly drawn to. Can Bethel show him that their practical arrangement is blossoming into so much more—and can be the start of a wonderful future together for all of them?

My Review:

When this book first started I thought that it was set in 1800, early 1900’s, however it becomes clear that is not the case. I honestly felt this book really flowed once it got going and found it hard to put down . It seemed like I was catching up with a friend. I loved the kids in this book even though right off the bat I would have like to gone toe to toe with Sam. I loved Molly’s big heart and Matthew’s sweet spirit I felt like he and Beth were kindred spirits. I had a hard time at first understanding why Aaron chose what he choose to do with Marrying Beth but it does make sense. The author choose a tough topic and she didn’t even try and sugar coat it which was so nice it was a no holding back for sure. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Amish Secret Wish Laura V. Hilton

Description:
Fall in love with an award-winning author's charming Amish romance about a woman with a secret pen pal—perfect for fans of Rachel J. Good and Marta Perry.

Waitress Hallie Brunstetter has a secret: she writes a popular column for her Amish paper under the pen name GHB. When Hallie receives a letter from a reader asking to become her pen pal, she reluctantly agrees. She can’t help but be drawn to the compassionate stranger, never expecting him to show up in Hidden Springs looking for GHB . . . or for him to be quite so handsome in real life. But after losing her beau in a tragic accident, Hallie won’t risk her heart—or her secrets—again.

If Kiah didn’t already feel so connected to GHB, Hallie would be a perfect wife—and it seems most of Hidden Springs’s would-be matchmakers agree! Though Hallie is peculiarly opposed to uncovering GHB’s true identity, she understands Kiah almost as well as his mystery pen pal. The longer he searches for GHB, the more Kiah finds himself hoping Hallie will be holding the pen that first captured his heart. But will Hallie ever trust Kiah with the truth about her identity . . . and her feelings for him?

My Review:
I was not a fan of this book, I found the characters to be immature and childish like yet the author seemed to also put them into adult situations that just didn't seem to fit very well with there immaturity. I can honestly say the only person I like in the whole book was the Bishop and Joy they seem to have the most common sense out of the bunch. in the end of the story I was like really that's it. It just seemed like the author rushed it at the end and left it up to the read to tie it into a nice bow. Overall this book was not for me I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Cowboy's Vow Leah Vale

Description:
He lives his life by the book. She wants to throw it out.

After promising his dying mother he’d protect his family and their rodeo rough stock legacy, Ian Neisson has devoted his life to keeping the Wright Ranch thriving. So when an ambitious FBI agent arrives in town implying Ian’s grandfather might be involved in a modern-day rustling ring, Ian, true to his word, steps up to help with her investigation in order to keep his family safe. His heart, however, is in danger from the green-eyed beauty with secrets of her own.

The last thing FBI Special Agent Jessie Martin wants is to go undercover working closely with a cowboy. She’s had her fill of cowboy charm and empty promises, and Ian Neisson, despite being the handsome poster boy for the proverbial Cowboy Way, spells trouble. But she’s a professional looking for advancement, and Ian is a way into the tight rodeo community. If only he didn’t threaten her resolve to forever leave her boots, roots and all things cowboy behind.

My Review:

I thought this story was cute, but completely predictable as well. I liked Jessie she was a fighter and didn't need anyone but wanted someone in her life but it just didn't seem possible with her job. I like Ian he was a bit of a mystery but his family came first and he would do anything to protect them no matter the cost. I always love reading about small towns you never know what you are going to get and I felt that way with this book as well. In the end do you find out what happens yes but I also feel like there was some questions that just seemed like I needed to know more. This book does have adult content and may not be suitable for all ages. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

My Review:

Y'all I can not with this book. First off Grandma Dotty and the kissing sisters are back!!!! I mean you know you are in for a laugh with Grandma Dotty forsake. I was laughing through at least 75% of this book. I really Liked Lily she had a good head on her shoulders and a big heart to help those who needed a hand up, she just came off the pages as sweet but a fighter. Jud grew on me I can't say a ton on why since you have to read to figure that out other wise I would be giving away to much about the overall book. I love the closeness of the sisters and how no matter where they are they are there for each other. I hope to one day be like Dotty and endless bucket list and a sassy, sweet mouth with who knows what's going to come out next. I know this is not the end of these sister, and I am so excited to see where the author takes us and what kind of "trouble" Dotty gets into next. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Sweet and thoughtful contemporary read
Stand-alone novel

My Review:
I thought this story was cute overall. I liked Sophie I felt like she was a fighter and was faced with so much, but I also felt her family never really got her. I liked Aiden a little bit I felt like sometimes he came off whiney and whoa is me type attitude, which became annoying. I loved the small town feel of this book, and the small town characters they were so fun. Overall this book was a fun read and the author kept the book clean so it suitable for all readers, its also completely predictable.  I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

My Review:
I really liked this book. I told my husband I needed to finish this book because I needed to solve the case. Thats how it felt that you were solving the case right along with Jane, Reid and Jane's staff. I really Liked Jane she was a fighter and she struggled but had no problem letting it out there and question her own faith. I liked how the author didn't make everything seem so "perfect" but showed that they struggled even in the good times. I also liked the author kept is cleaned and a good read for all. Overall this book is so worth the read! I received a complimentary copy of this book. My thoughts on the book:

This author never disappoints, and she sure disappoint with this book. She keeps you guessing from the beginning to the end. I really liked Faith she was a fighter and would stop at nothing to get what needed to be done, done. I liked Eli to he and his brothers jumped in to help Faith and her family at all cost no questions asked. The author did an amazing job with Vincent, I was so ready to loose my mind over his madness. Overall I would Highly recommend this book I really enjoyed it and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I also liked that the author kept this clean.
