 The Prayer Jars Series,
Book 1 -- The Hope Jar (August 2018)
Book 3 -- The Healing Jar (August 2019)

My thoughts on the book:

I really enjoyed this follow up story and to see what was going on with Michelle and Ezekiel. I was not a huge fan of Sarah she seemed very immature for most of the story. Both girls face different trials and both are strong and broken souls looking for healing. I really like how Michelle was finding herself even more in this book. I really Brad came off a little judgey as well. In the end of the book I really enjoyed the over all story and the amount of forgiveness that the girls had to work through and how each one worked through what they faced through different ways and how God was a big part of that. I loved the idea of a prayer jar, it's a wonderful idea. This book is a good clean read as well as the characters seem very relatable.
I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Two people from different worlds are trying to make their way in life, but can they find love and happiness together?

My thoughts on the book:

I really loved this book it was a much anticipated book from the others in the series. Winnie is faced with a ton of life choices at such a young age and she is very vulnerable throughout the whole book. I loved how she was this fighter and realized that she wasn't always strong enough to fight her demons, my heart truly ached for her in some points of the book. I loved being able to catch up with Quinn and Tucker and I loved being able to see where they are now. I liked Parker he annoyed me a little in the beginning, but in the end it all made complete sense. I loved how the author took "rich famous" people and made them feel like the average person and made the feel more like friends. I have really enjoyed this series so far and can not wait to read the next book in the series.
This book does have adult situations so it may not be suitable for all ages. If you have never read anything by this author grab this series you will not be disappointed.

Gabby Langdon has always tried to make people happy. She even went to law school to please her father, and now she's a highly successful-albeit bored-attorney. But Gabby secretly dreams of being a writer, so for once she does something for herself-she signs up for a writing class taught by best-selling novelist Caden Marshall. There's only one problem: her brooding, sexy professor is a distraction she can't afford if she's finally going to get the life she truly wants.

Recently divorced and suffering from the world's worst case of writer's block, Caden is in Angel Falls to get his life back on track. He's focused on teaching and providing a stable and loving home for his young daughter, Ava. The last thing he needs is to jeopardize his new job, which means keeping plenty of distance between himself and his talented new student-no matter how tempted he is by Gabby's beauty, kind heart, or the sparks that fly whenever they're together.

Includes the bonus story "Meant to Be" by Alison Bliss!

Angel Falls series:Then There Was You
The Way You Love Me

My thoughts on the book:

What a sweet love story. I loved how Gabby has this sweet spirit, she is a strong character who has a big heart and she really seemed so relatable. I really enjoy how it was important to find herself and her mom's legacy. I was not a huge fan of Caden, sometimes you like him sometimes you don't. I get he had some hard times but in my opinion he just seemed like he couldn't get his stuff together. I really loved Ava, her sweet personality just jumped off the pages and it was hard not to just fall in love with her. Overall I really enjoyed this sweet love story. There is some sex scenes in this book, so it may not be suitable for all readers. I honestly have enjoyed reading this series and can not wait to read Rafe and Kaitlyn story. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion.

One Tough Cowboy Lora Leigh; Veronica Chadwick- Moving Violations #1

Description:

First in a brand-new series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Lora Leigh and Veronica Chadwick about one man’s pursuit of justice—and unbridled desire.

LAW AND ORDER. For as long as Samantha can remember, Hunter—a man as strong as steel, with a heart of gold—has been her hero. It came as no surprise to Samantha when she found out that the ranch-hardened cowboy who always protected her from bullies went on to become the town’s sheriff. What does surprise her is how incredibly hot he still is. And how much she still wants him…

PRIDE AND PASSION
And, lo and behold, Hunter still has feelings for Samantha. The long-smoldering heat of their innocent flirtation has grown into a full-raging fire. But when tragedy strikes, and their small-town community is shattered, Hunter vows to do everything he can to keep his childhood sweetheart safe. But can Samantha trust that Hunter has her best interests at heart…and that, after all these years, his love is true?

My thoughts on the book:

I was not a huge fan of this book. I found the book really predictable, I felt like there wasn't much story going on a little here and a little there until the end. I will say if you are sensitive to human trafficking, sex or rape this book may not be for you. This book does have a lot of chemistry jumping off the pages, it sure didn't lack at all. I did like how Sam was this strong women who did not take crap from anyone she was a complete strong willed women who had no problem taking on just about anything. I also liked that Hunter tested her and pushed her boundaries, he was annoying sometimes. I want to say Jacob and Shane where some of my favorite they seemed to have to a strong but silent types in the book. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

My thoughts on the book:

I have never read anything by Pam Crook so this was a first for me and I did not know what to expect.  I really enjoyed it from the get go. The story starts off with tears and finishes with love and laughter, everything in between is just as good. I love how these characters truly felt more like friends and less like fictional characters. I really loved how the book felt a little original and fun. I also enjoyed that that this book was a good clean read and a quick read. You really can not go wrong with this fun read.

My thoughts on the book:

The first two chapters I was not sure I was going to like this book. It started off with all this information but not much interaction with the characters. I will say this hang in there it got good, really good. This book has so many twists and turns right when you think you know who did it the author throughs you a curve ball out of no where and then you are back to guessing again. I loved how the love that Rose has in her heart for those she loves literally jumps off the pages you can almost picture her face in her mind. I really did not see the end coming I don't care how many clues the author dropped that was a shocker and so amazing. This book does have adult scenes in it but the author did it with enough info it might not offended anyone. This book was so good it is well worth the read. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion.

My thoughts on the book:

Who doesn't love a good book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This book does just that there are so many twist and turns you never know what's going to happen next. In fact at one point in the book something intense was happening and my houses fire alarms went off needless to stay I jumped. I really liked how no matter what the characters faced it was always coming back to rely on God and his will in there lives. I really liked how the book kept you guessing from the beginning to the end. This book is a clean read and will keep you on the edge of your seat from page one till the last page. You really can't go wrong with this amazing read.
