Final Verdict Jessica R. Patch

Description:
FATAL JUSTICE
When Aurora Daniels becomes the target of someone seeking their own twisted justice, Sheriff Beckett Marsh is the only one who can rescue her. As a public defender, Aurora has angered plenty of people in town—and in her past. And while Beckett constantly clashes with the feisty lawyer professionally, it's his duty to protect and serve. Guarding her 24/7 is now his sole assignment. He may not have been able to save his fiancée from a dangerous felon, but he'll do whatever it takes to keep Aurora alive. Even if working with her to catch and convict this ruthless killer puts his heart in the crosshairs.

My thoughts on the book:

Aurora has relocated to the town of Hope and she is not making any friends thats for sure. But when she wins a case that is very public it seems someone has it out for her and will stop of nothing to stop her in her tracks. Beckett is the Sheriff in the small town of Hope, TN and he protects everyone including those he would rather not. When the local Defense attorney seems to have a target on her back he is forced to protect her 24/7 but can he stop who ever is after her before its to late.
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I loved this book Jessica has an amazing way of capturing the readers attention and not letting go. I really had a hard time putting this book down to go to bed I needed to know what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the characters in this book and I really enjoyed how even thought the book was intense at parts the author had a way of putting in a light hearted moment then just where it needs to be. I loved how this book is a good clean romance but more important a suspense book that keeps you on your toes just when you think you have it figured out she those a huge curve ball and I found my self saying Ok I did not see that coming. Seriously grab this book and sit back for a fun time a head.

My thoughts on the book:

He loves the town he lives in but he's starting to wonder if he needs to find a place to start over, however for now he is set up to fix the in he works out up and now he has a spoiled rich brat he has to train. What more could go wrong in his life right now? But can she convince them that the job she is doing and the way she is living is just a fine way to make her self independent?
I really enjoyed this book I was seriously surprised this book had over 300 pages it seemed like a short quick read, in a good way. I really enjoyed the storyline and how it truly draws you in and keeps you turning the pages just to see whats going to happen next. I loved the characters and how they are fun, crazy and you feel like you catching up with friends. There is some strong language and adult scenes in the book so it may not be for everyone. Grab this book and your favorite drink such a fun read.

Forever Mine Erin Nicholas

Description:
Maya Goodwin doesn't believe in holding back. Ever. As a cop, she never hesitated to throw herself into harm's way to save someone. Even after an injury on the job forces her to retire, she's not afraid to keep risking it all to get the life she wants. With a new career teaching martial arts to kids already underway, she's looking forward to the future - and taking a chance on the unbelievably hot Dr. Alex Nolan.

Maya - daring and spontaneous - is the exact opposite of what Alex always thought he wanted. But when a nine-year-old daughter he never knew existed shows up on his doorstep, Maya is the one who helps them hold it together. With love on the line, will the guy who's always played it safe be willing to take the biggest risk of all?

My thoughts on the book:

Maya is take life by the horns and run with it no holds bar. Alex is a cautious type of guy everything planned and calculated, everything for a purpose but he has his reasons and he needs to keep Maya away because it's for the best for both of their sakes Alex will stop at nothing to protect those he cares for and that includes someone he just found. These two seem to walking on egg shells which doesn't fit either but can they set it all aside and find a balance that works?
There is a part in the book that is not for the faint of heat, but you know its coming and it can be skipped over. I was not a fan of this book I feel like at first it was all over the place one minute it was on one subject and then it seemed like opps need to get back to the story line. It seemed to me as the beginning the the end were good but in the middle was questionable. There were some strong language and adult scenes through out the book. I felt like the storyline was super fun to follow and I really enjoyed reading Charli's story her spunk and her personality totally seem to make the story.
This book may be right for the right person just wasn't for me.

A Spoonful of Sugar Kate Hardy

Description:
Tyler Carter is a healthy-eating gym owner who doesn’t bake. When his employees enter him into a bake-off contest to raise money for Harry’s House, an after school space for kids commemorating local first responder Harry Monroe, he needs to learn–fast!

Shy special needs teacher Stacey Allman loves to bake and often dreams of sharing her confections with her uber fit, gorgeous neighbor. So when Tyler sets off his smoke alarm and explains his dilemma, she can’t resist the temptation of playing pastry chef tutor. He offers boxing lessons in exchange. More time together? Yes please,

But when Tyler’s ex comes back to Marietta asking for his help, will it derail Stacey and Tyler’s chance at love, or will it make them see that they’re the perfect fit?

My thoughts on the book:
Tyler can not cook and he is the most healthiest eating person most know in Marietta, but when his staff and clients sign him up to bake he has not choose but to tackle it head on. He convinces his really sweet neighbor to help and he hopes he wont let anyone down since its for a good cause.
Stacey is shy keeps to herself and she also has reasons for it but its just best this way for everyone around. When her neighbor needs her help learning to bake she sets out to help him I mean how hard can it really be right.  She quickly realizes this might not all be that easy but she knows she can and will do it, but can she succeed and keep her heart intact?
I love Marietta Montana I love catching up with these fun characters whether you are just joining in on the fun or have read all the books, don't worry you wont be lost and you will be sucked into this wonderful small town. I loved how the author kept the characters relatable and fun. I really enjoyed the storyline it flowed perfectly and kept your attention throughout. I will say there is one adult scene in the book other wise the book was a fun read and clean for the most part. Each character is dealing with something but the author did not make a seem that they were trying to save each other but they truly were just trying to be friends. This book is truly a super fun read and you can't go wrong.

Can Gretchen woo Nate away from his current spot at Higher Grounds Cafe? What if landing the barista her company needs might cost her the man who’s already stolen her heart?

My thoughts on the book:

I will keep this simple, since I feel the description sums the book up perfectly. This book is small but they say "Good things come in small packages", and that is very much the case with this book. I usually am not a fan of books written in first person point of view I always feel like I am missing something, how ever the author did an amazing job of getting what needed told into the storyline and out there. I really enjoyed the "message" or the "lesson" that was taught in this book. This book will leaving you wanting to go back and read the others such a super fun read. I also liked that it was a super clean read as well.

Meant to Be Maggie McGinnis- Whiskey Creek series #5

Description:
At twenty-eight, Shelby Quinn’s already a has-been. Scooped off a country stage at sixteen and remolded into glittery pop princess Tara Gibson, she toured the country for a decade, playing to sold-out stadiums while slowly losing her soul. Now her sales are waning, and when her beloved father dies in a fiery plane crash, she finally comes apart at the seams. Alone and brokenhearted, she hides away at Whisper Creek Ranch, never expecting to meet a man who understands her in a way no one else ever has.

Cooper Davis was one of Boston’s top detectives—until a bogus investigation cost him his badge, his family, and almost his life. Now he’s wrangling horses and guests at Whisper Creek Ranch, while keeping one eye firmly on a super-secret VIP holed up in a private cabin—a beautiful, soulful singer who knows what it’s like to lose everything. Cooper and Shelby both have ample reason to guard their hearts. But if they can learn to trust each other, something magical awaits them under the big skies and bright stars.

My thoughts on the book:

Shelby has been living the life of another for so long she feels she has lost herself. With the loss of her father her label is afraid she may be loosing it and ships her off to Montana, the rules are stay hidden and keep under the radar, and she is set to do that. Cooper is in Montana after the loss of a job he loved and would have done anything for. He is not set to find himself when his boss has him watch over a unknown "celebrity". He's not happy about the assignment he would rather deal with horses then people. Will he be able to keep things professional and help Shelby stay out of sight?
I love Carefree Montana I love catching up with the fun group of friends and I can't wait for more. I loved how the author made each one of these characters relatable and made them feel more like friends. I really enjoyed the storyline as a whole. I enjoyed the laid back ness of Whiskey Ranch it truly made me want to jump on the next plane and go visit. There is some strong language throughout the book but over all this book is so worth the read and so fun. The book is a quick read as well so you wont be disappointed.

Raging Storm Vannetta Chapman

Description:

In the Darkness,
Anarchy Awakens

When a massive solar flare wiped out all modern technology across the globe, the small town of Abney, Texas, was thrown into chaos. Shelby Sparks and her teenage son, Carter, have found refuge, but Shelby knows she can't simply remain hidden. Carter is a type 1 diabetic in need of insulin—and Shelby will risk her life traveling to Austin to make sure he gets it.

Shelby's best friend and high school sweetheart, Max Berkman, won't even consider letting her make the perilous journey alone. Together, they manage to reach the capital—only to discover that while things are desperate in Abney, Austin has turned into an urban nightmare on the brink of anarchy.

Shelby and Max's search for medical supplies will lead them into terrifying territory, where the only thing more uncertain than finding what they need is the hope of making it out of the city alive.

My thoughts on the book:
When a solar flare hits the country people are left scrambling some die some turn evil and some are just fearful of the unknown. As the four friends head out to find medicine for the people in their town and for Shelbys some they are faced with some trials and things you just can't ever unsee or ever want to see again. Can they get where they need to be and get where they need to save Shelby's son before it's to late?
I will start off saying I did not read the first book so I didn't realize this was a series. That being said it wasn't hard to catch on what was going down. There were twist and turns throughout this whole book and it left you on the edge of your seat, there were also parts in the book that were predictable but those were few and far between. The book was a good clean read throughout this book does have an "end times" feel to it however the author kept it like it was in current times and that it could really happen. The end of the book does end in a cliff hanger and you are left wanting so much more in that sense you want to know whats happening next. This book was a really good read and I can only imagine what the author is going to throw in next that will keep you on the edge of your seat. GRAB this book you won't regret it.

My thoughts on the book:

Second Impressions by award-winning author Pepper Basham
What a fun love story. I know this is a novella so it's supposed to be short however it left me wanting so much more at the end of this story I felt like there was or is more to come of the story. The story is a good clean romance with twist and turns through out and even ones you don't expect.

Mowed Over by USA Today bestselling author Christina Coryell
I have never read anything else by Christina but if all her books are like this I am ready to read them. This book had me laughing almost the whole time. The storyline was so fun and well put together I really loved how the author left you wanting more but tied the story up perfectly. I loved the free spirit of Willow and I loved how a big old military guy like Clint had a sweet side to him that you found falling in love with. Seriously this book is so worth the read
An Informal Affair by award-winning author Heather Gray
This love story was a fun read. Each one of the characters jobs through twist and turns in the story and added a little mystery to the story. While I did fine that the story was some what predictable I loved Watt's and would love to read her story. I also loved the fun friendship between Watt, Lia, Maverick and Watt's team mates it made you want to join in on the fun.

A Heart Restored by Elizabeth Maddrey
This story wasn't all the way there for me. Without giving anything away, the way the story end had me "Like really thats it" um ok. It just seem to have ended abrupt and also seemed like there should have been a little more. The storyline was about following your dreams and allowing forgiveness in yourself and with God.

Unleashing Love by Jessica R. Patch
I flew through this book it was a total page turner. It was summed up perfectly and was a super fun read. I dealt with what love is really about, finding your dreams and forgiveness and cute dogs. I loved how the author let everyones personality shine through the pages weather they had a big part in the story or not. I felt like I was catching up with friends not reading a book.

A (nearly) Normal Nanny by Krista Phillips
What happens when you take a Nanny, twins and a musician? Well this book happens and you are going to have some guaranteed laughs and so much fun.

That's When I Knew by award-winning author Laurie Tomlinson
So far in this series this is the only book that doesn't have a child involve in the storyline. However its still a super fun read, with some twist and turns thrown in for good measure. The author did an amazing job at having the book seem longer then it really was but keeping the story flowing so that you are turning the pages to see whats going to happen next. SUPER Fun read for sure.

A Time to Laugh by USA Today bestselling author Marion Ueckermann
This story seems to sum up the whole series of books. Gods love is there and no matter what and he does have a sense of humor. This book really packed a punch and has a way of getting you sucked in from the beginning to the end. Such a wonderful story and such a neat way to sum up love for each other and God's Love.

Over all this set of book was super fun to read. The books will have you laughing and reminding you of what Gods love is all about and forgiveness. These books are good clean reads and super fun.
