My Review:
I really liked this book it was a fun story. I will say this early on in this book one of the characters had said something and it hit me wrong I was done with the book in my mind but my heart kept saying finish and see how it plays out and I am glad I did. I really like Kat when she makes her mind up about something there is no stopping her. I also loved the closeness of the friendship group, I have not read any of the other books in the series but I am sure they are just as fun because this group of friends does not hold anything back. We all need a group of friends like this in out lives. I was not a huge fan of Wes for most of the book he just came off very annoying and immature however in the end my opinion of him did change. Overall this was a fun read and well worth it.

The Best Is Yet to Come Debbie Macomber

 Description:
When a woman alone in the world bravely chooses to open her heart, two lost souls have a new chance at belonging, in this intimate novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Debbie Macomber.

A new beginning in charming Oceanside, Washington, is exactly what Hope Godwin needs after the death of her twin brother. There are plenty of distractions, like her cozy cottage with the slightly nosy landlords next door, and a brewing drama among her students at the local high school.

Even having settled quickly into the community, Hope still feels something is still missing. That is, until her landlords convince her to volunteer at their animal shelter. There she meets Shadow, a rescue dog that everyone has given up on. But true to her name, Hope believes he’s worth saving.

Like Shadow, shelter volunteer Cade Lincoln Jr. is suffering with injuries most can’t see. A wounded ex-marine, Cade identifies with Shadow, assuming they are both beyond help. Hope senses that what they each need is someone to believe in them, and she has a lot of love to give. As she gains Shadow’s trust, Hope notices Cade begins to open up as well. Finding the courage to be vulnerable again, Cade and Hope take steps toward a relationship, and Hope finally begins to feel at peace in her new home.

But Hope’s happiness is put to the test when Cade’s past conflicts resurface, and Hope becomes embroiled in the escalating situation at the high school. Love and compassion are supposed to heal all wounds, but are they enough to help Hope and Cade overcome the pain of their past and the obstacles in the way of a better future?

My Review:
I really liked this book I really liked Hope and when life was rough for her she continue to rise above and try and make things better in her portion of the world. I liked Cade though even in one part of the book he came off like a toddler throwing a tantrum, he to continued to work on making a difficult situation into something better. This book follows not only Cade and Hope's story but those of Hope's students which right off the bat I thought was going to go one way and it didn't. However the author used and opportunity bring to light something I am sure is happening in schools everywhere. I loved the small town feel of the book and how you feel like you are there in the midst watching it all play out. Over all this book is a good clean read and well worth it.

USA Today bestselling author Elizabeth Goddard weaves a tangled web of nail-biting suspense and heart-stopping romance in this fast-paced conclusion to her Rocky Mountain Courage series.

My Review:
This book was so dang good, I just could not put it down. So this is a book that would fall under don't read alone if you jump at every noice lol. I love Mackenzie I think like so many of us she beats herself ups for choices she made in the past but fights every day to make it right. She's a fighter and would stop at nothing including pushing the limits to help her family. Alex he was out to make things right for the families who lost loved ones up in the hills including his dad. He was another fighter. I felt like when you take these two you never knew what was going to be more stubborn about doing what. This author threw some twist and turns in right till the very end. I so wanted more in the end I was not disappointed with the ending but just wanted more. I loved how this author keeps you on the edge of your seat with what's going to happen next. Overall I really enjoyed this book if you can't tell :-) and I would totally recommend it.

The Cowboy's Texas Heart E. Elizabeth Watson

 Description:
It was only meant to be one night of pleasure…

After a failed engagement, paleontologist Heather “Heart” Carvalho has vowed to always protect herself in love. When she’s hired to conduct a geophysical survey for a mineral rights dispute on ancient land, she never expects to be swept up in the arms of a rugged cowboy. After a night of passion, she learns the handsome cowboy is her new client. Even more complicated, he has kids, and soon Heart longs for something she knows she can never have…a family.

Tyler Dixon doesn’t have time for emotional attachments. He has two sons to raise solo, a multimillion-dollar ranch to operate, and a pending lawsuit to protect his land from an unscrupulous oil company. Carrying on with the gorgeous, free-spirited paleontologist will only jeopardize Tyler’s case. So why does he feel the impulse to keep crossing the line with her?

They’re both everything they told themselves they didn’t want. As their chemistry burns, Heart claims she can remain impartial, but soon Ty wants the one thing she’s sworn to never again give away—her heart.

My Review:
This book was not for me. I will say that I did like Heart she was a fighter and she was probably my favorite. However I felt like the whole book was very childish, vey high school/college age, instead of two grown adults. I just felt like the storyline there really wasn't much of one it was completely predictable. This book does have adult content and may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was not for me and I can't really recommend it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The attack wasn't the end game. It was only the beginning.

"This action-packed thriller is sure to please."--
IRENE HANNON, bestselling and award-winning author

"I love Dani's writing, and The Deadly Shallows is one of her best! Tightly written and dripping with tension. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough."--CARRIE STUART PARKS, bestselling and award-winning author of Relative Silence

My Review:
I could not put this book down, from the first page to the last. This author has a way of putting you on the edge of your seat and makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the madness. I really liked Brooke she was such a fighter and loved wholeheartedly. Noah was a protector of anyone who he truly cared about. The book did keep me guessing for the first part of the book until everything started playing out, but even with all the piecing together the author kept you guessing to what was going to happen next. This book is amazing and I can not stop recommending this book.

Mall American Girl Sarah Robinson

   Description:

Oh, say can you see these sparks flying in this 4th of July-themed standalone short romance when singer/songwriter Kamar Jaziri meets the beautiful and undefeated Independence Games champion in a red, white, and blue meet-cute over a plate of hot dogs.

Summer Darby, owner of Summer’s Sun Spray Tan Salon, is a winner. The end. Every goal she’s had, she’s crushed and her streak isn’t about to come to an end now even though the games have changed. She doesn’t care how much the new singer in the pavilion lights her firecracker—she won’t be distracted by his star-spangled salute.

When Kamar Jaziri isn’t studying in graduate school, he’s working as a singer/songwriter at small gigs around the local college town—including a recent hire at Yule Heights Shopping Mall. All he wants is a taste of freedom as he chases his American dreams, and that means he doesn’t have time for romance or dating. And he definitely doesn’t have time for the way Summer Darby looks at him.

Cue the sparklers as these blue collar titans of business clash in a comedic battle for independence—and love.

My Review:
This book is a Novella, which makes it short and to the point, not a lot of build up. I felt like with Kamar he was really laid back and just go with the flow kind of guy. With Summer I feel like if I had to describer her she was like Eeyore "woah is me" kind of attitude. Also I felt like the author tried to throw a twist into the book but the never let it play out so I felt like well what was the point of that. Honestly this book was not for me. If you are looking for a quick read this book might be for you, if you are looking for a more drawn out story this one might not be for you. I received an advance copy from the publisher. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion
