She’s been living a lie that could just get her killed… Widowed former Hollywood actress Devynne Lang has been living a quiet life in the San Juan Islands of the Pacific Northwest. But strange things have been happening around her place and this time, with a daughter to protect, she can’t afford one mistake – even if it means letting Carcen Lang get close enough to help.
The San Juan Islands: Mysterious Harbors, Dangerous Shores, and Tides of Love.

Tide Will Tell
by Lesley Ann McDaniel

She’s been running, but the truth is bent on finding her… Once a teenage runaway, Kate Jennings is finally getting her life together. She’s moving to picturesque Shaw Island, Washington, to marry the man of her dreams—billionaire Chase Cole. Chase is everything she could want in a man. He’s handsome, smart, and funny…so what if he’s thirty years her senior? The only trouble is, the media won’t put to rest the disappearance of his previous wife. For Kate, the rumor that he might have had something to do with it pales in comparison to the dangerous past she’s on the run from. With Chase’s financial resources, she can stay safe. And alive. But will real love find her in time to save her?
The San Juan Islands: Mysterious Harbors, Dangerous Shores, and Tides of Love.

Looking For Justice

And former soldier turned rancher, Luke Stephens, wants nothing to do with her, because he’s running, too—from the effects of the Afghanistan War and a failed marriage. But when one of their students is assaulted, both Alexis and Luke must break out of their self-imposed prisons to keep the student safe and to find the man responsible.

My Thoughts on the book:

The Unrelenting Tide  by Lynnette Bonner
I really liked the suspense of this story the author had so many twist and turns in it. The author makes you think its going one way and throws in a twist and has you guessing. I also loved little Marissa. I felt that in this story there was some things still missing, but over all I love that this was a good clean read. I would give this story an overall 4 star rating.

Tide Will Tell by Lesley Ann McDaniel

This story is all over the place at first I was super confused about what was really going on. Then as the story progressed it seemed two stories finally mesh together. The story mentions the first story in the book a few times as it was trying to tie it together but it seems forced in a sense. The story seemed to have multiple stories going and making it hard to following, I found it confusing, hard to follow. In about chapter 26 the book seem to focus on one thing and got better I would say over all I feel like this author tried to squeeze to much into one story for such a short book. Over all not my favorite. I will say this the end was probably one of my favorite in this story, it ended in such a sweet manner and tied every thing together well. Over all I would give this story a 2.5 stars.

Looking For Justice by Linda K. Rodante
This book is not connected with the first two in anyway. This book is about forgiveness in the biggest way. I really enjoyed this story.  At first I thought this book wasn't very suspenseful but that changed really quickly. I really enjoyed this story it was quick and an amazing read. I found it hard to put down. I loved how this book focused on the ultimate forgiveness and also how even in tragedy love can be found. I would rate this book overall a 5 it just was such and amazing read.

This book is not connected to the first three at all. At first this book frustrates me because I felt like there were to many characters, but I hung in there and it all started to come together and make sense. This story was really good it have me on the edge of my seat with a ton of twist and turns with every page. I really enjoyed the suspense of the book and how it kept you guessing till the end.  I do have to say I wish in the end the author would have had an epilog or would have finished the follow up of what all happened. I would over all rate this story a 4.5.

Scent of Danger by Alexa Verde
Like the last two this book is not connected to any of the other stories in this book. This story did not disappoint and I would have to say was one of my favorites in this series of books. From page one till the end this book it had you on the edge of your seat. Also the story was super intense and so amazing. I don't think there was anything about this story I really didn't like. Overall I would give this book a 5 star.

Overall with these stories there are all good clean romance stories and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

From the Top Dani Collins, Blue Spruce Lodge Book 2

Description:
Their hot New Year’s Eve wasn’t supposed to have consequences…

Fiercely independent after a difficult childhood, Ilke Lunquist devotes herself to one thing: skiing. She’s on the cusp of gold when an unexpected pregnancy throws her future into chaos.

Nathaniel Hart takes on the daunting project of restoring Whiskey Jack Ski Resort to be close to his young son, but with one failed marriage behind him, he avoids serious relationships.

They might be virtual strangers with only a baby in common, but Nate is determined to be part of his child's life. Ilke didn't become a champion by ever backing down from a challenge, especially not one where her child's happiness and her own heart are on the line. When tragedy strikes, heartbreak draws them closer together. Nate discovers he’s more than ready for a bigger family and maybe, just maybe, Ilke will find the home that has eluded her all her life.

My thoughts on the book:

This book takes you back to Whiskey Jack Ski resort, where you catch up with Rolf, Glory and the gang. Nate will stop at nothing to get the Resort up and running but when Ilke shows up with a huge "surprise" it seems that everything is about to be flipped on its head. Ilke comes back to Montana after a failure in Korea with and unexpected pregnancy and she just need to feel like she belongs even if its just for a moment. It seems everything is working against these two can the come together and work towards a common goal?
It rings true in this book you never know what you had until you loose it, without giving much away there is love, loss, and heartache. You catch up with Glory and Rolf are planning their wedding and Marvin and Vivian are working together to keep the Lodge going, which was nice and super fun. As Nate and Ilke work through their struggles they are each faced with something that really gets to you and your heart. This book can have you laughing, crying and over all just sucked into the story. This story does have adult language and situations. This book was a fun love story and I did feel towards then end it did drag on a little but over all this book was so good and it was like catching up with friends. I really can't wait to read Trigg's story and catch up more from this fun bunch.

A Soldier's Song Irene Onorato- A Veteran's Heart #3

Description:

Can love conquer all? . . .

All Special Forces sergeant Jason Dexter ever wanted was to serve his country-with his father's blessing. Although the elder Dexter has yet to make his peace with his son's decision, Jason has no regrets. Still, he has mixed feelings about returning to his upstate New York town. But his perspective changes at a friend's wedding, where he meets a lovely, gifted musician. Now Jason has a new mission: to get to know Aria Greco better.

The daughter of Jason's commanding officer, Aria dreams of becoming a concert pianist. Meeting the handsome soldier transforms both their lives. But Aria's ambition, Jason's unresolved family conflicts, and jealousy over rivals on both sides soon threatens their blossoming relationship. As Jason prepares for a dangerous deployment, will the mounting tensions tear them apart, or is their love-and the faith they share-powerful enough to heal the past and embrace the future?

My thoughts on the book:

In this book Jason "Dex"Dexter is home for a friends wedding when he meets Aria. He would like nothing more then to get to know her mom. He also is faced with dealing with some family drama which doesn't seem to be going away no matter what is done. Aria has such a sweet spirit but when she meets bad boy Dex it seems like she is drawn to him and wants to get to know him. Can they get to know each other even from a distance and see where life takes them or will it be to much for both of them?
This is my first book in the series and with this author and I am so ready for more. I really enjoyed this sweet love story. They were faced with some trials and some fun times. I felt like I was truly catching up with a friend not reading a fiction story. I also enjoyed how this story truly sucks you in and you find your self having a hard time putting it down. I was disappointed to see the book end. I loved Pop's and Aria's parents I loved the relationship that Aria, her sister and her parents had and I love Dex's relationship with his Pop's. The relationships in this book are not easy but will touch your heart in some way.

A Case of Serendipity K. J. Farnham

Description:

Ruth Bateman is at her wit’s end. If Bucky’s Beans doesn’t stop spamming her phone with discount codes for frou-frou java concoctions, she’s going to flip. After multiple failed attempts to unsubscribe, Ruth takes to the company’s Facebook page to vent her frustration over the never-ending texts.

When attorney, Henry Mancuso, stumbles upon Ruth’s complaint, he has no idea that a simple Facebook scroll is going to change his life. Now, he has to get Ruth to agree to a class action lawsuit when she’s just looking for some peace on her mobile device—not a drawn-out case against a coffeehouse giant.

As Ruth and Henry battle the legal waters, a friendship full of fun and spontaneity blooms. But could something more be brewing between these two and this coffeehouse case?

My thoughts on the book:

Ruth is getting a bunch of unwanted text messages and Henry is the lawyer who is set to convince her to sue Bucky Beans. When things take a twist it seems that there is more to it then just a few unwanted text messages. Can they work together for a common goal and keep things  professional?

This book is a first Point of view, however its when both main character so that being said if your not a fan of POV like I am because you feel like its lacking thats not the case with this book since both are stories are being told. I was overall not a big fan of this book. Yes I will agree with other reviews I have read the love story was super sweet. I felt that the author repeated herself a lot and also I felt like the story dragged on way to long. I also did not like the way it ended. In the end I was like are you kidding me. This book does have some strong language, however there are no adult scenes in this book.

Jett, while valiantly trying to ignore his visceral attraction to the fiery red head, is determined that she have the best protective detail Pytheon can provide. He is the best they have.

PhD Samantha Stone has been tasked to profile The Recruiter’s next move as a consultant of the psychology of criminal behavior. As they tighten the net around The Recruiter, the risk to Sam increases. Jett vows he will keep her safe, but who will protect his heart? And will Jett prove to pose the biggest danger to Sam of all?

My thoughts on the book:

Sam is an heiress and it seems that someone has it out for her or maybe a few people they just cant seem to get it figured out. Jett has been working for some time for Pytheon and he will was called in because things just got personal. He knows a few things he needs to protect his heart, his free life style and he needs to keep Sam safe.
This book is full of suspense you will not be disappointed at all in that. There is a lot of strong language, and adult scenes. That being said the author seemed to repeat some of the same information over and over, in those times I found the book dragging. I did enjoy that it kept you guessing and that in the end you really will be a surprised. I have not read any of the other books in the series but it wasn't hard to figure out what was going on, the author did some explaining and it was easy to catch on.

He wants a second chance. She says there's no going back. Ten years ago, a public disgrace sent Jenna Jenkins running from her hometown. Now, the success of her professional future hinges on joining her hometown church restoration project. How much will William sacrifice to redeem his mistakes and prove his love? Can Jenna protect her heart this time or will William break her for good?

My thoughts on the book:

Jenna is back in her home town to help with the rebuilding of the church she just never expected who her new partner was going to be. William could not believe that she is back and he wanted a second chance at her. However she came back broken and he needs to convince her to trust him. Can they work together or will it just be to much and send Jenna running again?
I have never read anything by Ms. Weeks so I wasn't sure what to expect with this book but it caught my attention and so what did I have to loose. I will say I was not disappointed this book was so good. I loved the sweet story and the powerful healing and seeking in the book. The author held nothing back it discussed some very tough subjects. I loved how this book was a good clean read, I also enjoyed that it seemed to flow and there was not lacking of slow points in it. Such fun characters and such closeness in a small town. This book is a quick read and well worth it. If you are looking for a fun read this book will not disappoint.

Take a Chance on Me Jane Porter- Miracle on Chance Avenue #3

Description:
Savvy stylist Amanda Wright loves Marietta, her hair salon, and her clients, and no client is more dear to her heart than eighty-year-old Bette Justice–even if her years have made her a little fragile. So when Bette asks Amanda to help her convince her determined grandson, Tyler, a successful game designer, that Marietta is the right home for Bette, Amanda can’t say no.

Tyler Justice has a one-track mind–he wants to take care of his beloved grandmother. He can’t understand her resistance to move to Texas and is sure that the young friend she keeps mentioning–Amanda–is taking advantage of his grandmother’s generosity. He reaches Marietta determined to put the salon owner in her place and bring his grandmother home…until smart, kind Amanda starts to tug at his heart in ways he never expected.

But just as Tyler and Amanda start to form a real connection, will a long-buried family secret destroy their chance at love?

My thoughts on the book:

Amanda is sassy and fierce and knows just what she wants out of life and will stop at nothing to get that. When some one questions her integrity she will stop at nothing to prove them wrong. But this time a secret may have taken it to far. Tyler will do everything in his power to protect his grandmother, not he just need to convince her to move with him and then she's close and he can protect her as he sees fit. What he didn't expect was that his grandma is loved by many and it may not be as easy as her thought. Can Amanda convince Tyler that Bette is better off in Montana or will there be something else at play?

Marietta Montana is like your favorite tv show no matter what "new episode" is showing your have to  "watch it"/read it so you can find out what's new. You just fall more in love each time. In this book you won't be disappointed, it's the same thing. Wonderful fun characters sucking you into a new story and catching up on some of the older "friends". Yes I do find that this story was a little predictable but honestly it was refreshing in a sense, I also felt like in a way it also kept you guessing some too. I really loved how Amanda and Bette were both vulnerable and open but also independent, strong and fierce. I also enjoyed that this book was a good clean book. There was not strong language and the relationship wasn't centered around sex but trying to find out where the other fit and if it would work. I really enjoyed the relationships between Amanda and her sisters and how they are fighters and willing to hold their heads high no matter what. Overall I had a hard time putting this book down such a sweet love story and well worth the read.
