My thoughts on the book:

I really have enjoyed this series and this book did not disappoint. Is this predictable yes to a point but on some things the author keeps you guessing to the very end which for me made me not want to stop reading just so I can see what is going to happen next. I did not like Nate at first, but he grows on you and keeps you questioning his motives for sure. Chase was one of the good guys but he also can come off as unlikeable which made it for me the right balance, it keeping me interested in what he was going to do next. I loved Sadie, she was the person that seem to keep the family together and while she did not like her brother because of his choices in the book she does everything she can to help him do what is right.  If you are looking for a fun read that doesn't disappoint then this book is for you. I liked that the author kept the book clean to a point and makes it complete enjoyable to read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Book 9: A Cowgirl's Secret

My Review:
I really like this series, I have enjoyed every book so far. I can say this book did not disappoint either. I feel like this story was equally about Devin, Frankie and Myrna as much as Bernadette and Holden. I liked Bernadette a lot I felt she was just a strong independent women who know what she wanted and would not settle for anything less. Holden was ok he came off whiney and almost throwing a tantrum I felt in some situations Devin was more mature then Holden. I of coursed loved catching up with other Monroes. I really can't what to see what happen next with this family. The author did throw a twist into this that will add to other stories I am sure and I can't wait to see how she plays that out. Overall this book was so fun to read I could not put down and so worth it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Countless messages enter our hearts and minds each day. Some of these messages are true and helpful. When you first saw your reflection in the mirror this morning, what did your internal conversation sound like? Did you speak a message of hope to your heart or a diatribe of defeat?

Based on the book Dwell on These Things by John Stange, this thirty-one-day inspirational card set will encourage you to change the message that enters your mind into a positive, biblical one. On the front of each beautifully designed card is a short message to remind you of how God views you and everyday situations. The back of the card reinforces that message with time-tested wisdom.

My Review:

When I got these in the mail I was so excited I opened the package and its just is so pretty the way everything is presented. These cards come with there own stand which I loved so I didn't have to find something to hold them up. I have them out in the living room to be able to share with anyone who come in my home. I struggle with really bad anxiety and I feel like these small but large words of affirmations give me a stopping point to start to recenter my mind. Capturing the Texas Rancher's Heart by Debra Holt

Description:
She thought she’d protected her heart…

After a tumultuous childhood, nurse Jamie Westmoreland craves the comfort of predictability. She loves her quiet life in a small Texas ranching town and finally feels in control until a handsome rancher becomes her newest patient. He challenges her at every turn, but Jamie is too stubborn to admit she enjoys their sparring, and that he makes her heart race. But when his charming little cowboy son starts following her around, her long-neglected heart opens.

Thomas Tremayne, the eldest son of a well-respected local ranching family, is both mom and dad to his young son and has no plans to change. When a ranch injury requires an in-house expert, the nurse who called him out on his attitude is sent to help him heal. She’s even harder to resist on his ranch than she was at the hospital, but Thomas is determined to try—except he’s out-numbered. His son decided he wants a mom, and nurse Jamie is his choice.

Can two stubborn adults let down their guard long enough to let love in again?

My Review:

I liked Jamie a lot she was a broken soul and just looking for a place to belong without being broken even more. Thomas was a bit of a jerk at first and he just seemed like a Mr. know-it-all I am to good for anyone, but his family, pops and Jamie see to help humble him over the whole book. He still had a take charge but he just seem to get better as the pages went on. Now don’t even get me started on Thomas the third he was a pistol and from page one I feel like he totally made the book. His personality just shined off the pages and he was so fun to read about. I really liked Tori as well being the only girl of all boys she just seem to take charge and tooted her own horn I can’t wait to read her story. There is adult content in this book so it may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was a fun read and well worth it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

My Review:
This author seems to Neve disappoint and this book was very much that for me. I feel like the author has a way of making you feel like you are right there in the middle of the action. I really Liked Viv she has appeared in the other two books and so I was excited she got her story. I Like Jacob as well, in the beginning I felt like he was throwing his weight and being kind of mean, but he quickly grows on you and shows his true colors and he becomes easy to like. I was literally on the edge of my seat throughout there are some things that make you go hmmm and keeps you guessing but the book is so good. This book is really worth the read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

On Skein of Death Allie Pleiter

Description:
For Libby Beckett, opening her charming yarn shop, and introducing customers to the joys of knitting and crochet, is the work she was meant to do.  Until the yarn she loves is used for murder….

Libby has come home to Collinstown, Maryland to live her dream and open her own yarn shop, aptly named Y.A.R.N., along the Chester River. To Libby, Y.A.R.N. stands for "You're Absolutely Ready Now." But the acronym changes whenever inspiration strikes, and customers add to the list of suggestions that fill the blackboard wall in a shop stuffed with color, fiber, and comfort.

Libby is thrilled when she lands famous Norwegian knitting celebrity Perle Langager for a series of events  at Y.A.R.N. Libby's English bulldog, Hank, has been modeling one of Perle's doggie sweaters, and customers just can't wait to see Perle in action. The mayor of Collinstown even decrees a Collinstown Yarn Day to celebrate. But once Perle arrives in town, she seems distracted and on edge.  And when she's found strangled with a skein of red yarn, Libby knows she has to solve a knotty mystery before her new life unravels.

My Review:

This book was not for me. I had a hard time just getting into the book over all. The author does a play off of all things yarn in the book including a teenager and a group of “old” ladies set to have fun with yarn and trees. The book is told in a first person telling. I liked Gavin he seemed to face a lot and was always looking out for Libby. Libby was store owner turned detective which made things very interesting. The author did keep the book a clean read. I guess in the end I expected a different ending but over all the story was ok. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
