Cowboy Ever After Jennie Marts

 Description:
She’s writing a romance novel…
and he’s just like the hero in her story!
Enjoy the delightful cowboy romance from Hallmark
and USA Today bestselling author Jennie Marts.

Kaylee Collins, a shy city-dweller, is writing a Western romance—and getting the details wrong. Her editor insists that Kaylee learn more about country life by spending a week at a working ranch. Kaylee reluctantly agrees as long as she can bring Gladys, her slightly overweight Corgi.

To rustle up her courage, Kaylee channels the spirit of the fearless heroine of her story. But she’s shocked when she meets Luke Montgomery—the spitting image of her handsome cowboy hero!

As far as Luke’s concerned, Kaylee’s books are pure fantasy. Love hurts, and he should know: he lost his wife a few years back. But he finds himself amused, and then enchanted, by this woman who bravely tries new things and whose heart seems to be as big as the Montana sky. Can they both dare to start a new chapter together?

This clean romance includes a free Hallmark original recipe for Extra Delicious Carrot Cake.

My Review:
I loved this book, it was such a fun read. I loved how it feel like the author took you behind the scenes of what its like to be a writer and throws a twist in it. I loved Kaylee she was so vulnerable but she also had such a huge heart and could see only the best in those she met. It felt like she only wanted to leave those she met better than she found them. Luke had his guard up almost the whole book but it did not take from the story or him showing who he was as a person. He never really came off like a jerk which I expected he came off more caring and reserved. I liked the friendship between Luke and Dean and I loved Emma she came off like an old soul with a lot of sweet soul and honesty coming out. Overall this was a fun read and I could not put it down. I really can't say much negative about this book other than I was left wanting more. :-) I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

My Review:

If you have been following along with The Monroe Family this book was a fun way to catch up with the family but also read about another member. I feel like in each book it can hit a person different but I found this book very emotional. I really like Kendall she had a hard shell that needs to be cracked but she was taking life as it was handed to her and she was grabbing by the horns. She was a fighter and super independent and no job was to dirty for her. I loved Lizzie she was a pistol with an old soul and was ready to grab at love for anyone or anything in her life. Finn had to grow on my a little bit but he was also someone who faced a lot and had a lot on his plate. While each character faced a difficult situation each one faced it looking for love and sometimes thats all we need. I really liked this book it was a fun read and a clean read and I know the Monroe's are coming to an end but I am so loving this family and their stories.

The View from Coral Cove Amy Clipston

  Description:

When a jilted romance novelist escapes to a small beach town, the last thing she expected to find was the start of an even better love story.

In the wake of a broken engagement and the death of her last surviving family member, sweet romance novelist Maya Reynolds moves to the haven of Coral Cove, North Carolina, to take over her great-aunt’s toy store. Some of her grief is immediately eased by imaginative eight-year-old Ashlyn Tanner, who talks her into adopting a kitten and inspires Maya to create a princess tea-party room in the store.

Ashlyn’s dad, local veterinarian Brody Tanner, is quickly smitten by the newest resident of his hometown. As a single parent, he sacrifices a lot in order to give Ashlyn the world, so a romantic entanglement with Maya is not a distraction he is looking for.

As the three develop a deepening bond in the seaside town where Maya experienced some of her happiest childhood memories, clouds cast a shadow over Maya’s hope for the future: an impossible deadline looms over her next novel, a long-held secret by her late mother about Maya’s absent father comes to light, and Brody’s resolve to avoid romance seems unbreakable.

But together, they just might discover that sometimes happy endings happen outside the pages of Maya’s novels too.

Advance praise for The View from Coral Cove:

“Grieving and brokenhearted, novelist Maya Reynolds moves to Coral Cove, the place where she felt happiest as a child. An old family secret upends Maya’s plan for a fresh start, as does her longing to love and be loved. The View from Coral Cove is Amy Clipston at her best—a tender story of hope, healing, and a love that’s meant to be.” —Suzanne Woods Fisher, bestselling author of On a Summer Tide

My Review:
I could not put this book down anytime I had to I tried to hurry back to it, it was so good. The author has a way of making you feel like you are catching up with friends with this book. I loved Ashlyn she was so fun to read about she was a pistol and I feel totally helped make the story what it was. I really liked Maya and Brody each had baggage they had to deal with but each was after two things healing and love. I loved how each page the author draws you in and throws in a twist that while you know something is up you are happy with the way things turn. I loved that this book was a good clean read and that it would be suitable for all ages. I could not recommend this book more!!!

My Review:

This book was a fun read. I liked Colby she has the biggest heart and she always wants what's best for those she loves. She was also a fighter and willing to fight for what she wanted. I was not a huge fan of Colby he was so self centered to me but I felt like he grew on me over time. He seemed like he wants to be in a good place but he wants to have the best relationship with his family but he also questions where he sits in his family. I really enjoyed the story overall it was a fun read and well worth it. There is adult content and may not be suitable for all readers.

When the blonde beauty he never forgot throws his heart and his plans into a tailspin, he realizes he wants to reconnect with his roots and find a new place in Skylar’s life.

They’ve both run from their pasts. Can Skylar make room for Travis in her future?

My Review:
I really struggled with this book. I really wanted to like it and in the beginning I did. However I felt like it was one big misunderstanding that took way to long to finally get to and it seemed like certain characters would not let it go and move on with life. I feel like the only reason I kept read this to the end was because of Brandon he was a good kid with a big heart just looking for love and to find a place to fit. I found he was completely relatable and he truly carried this story for me. Overall this book was not for me and does contain some adult situations that may not be suitable for all readers.
