Montana Cowboy Promise Jane Porter

Description:
Three and a half years ago, Tommy Wyatt was in Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo. He had only one thing on his mind—winning another national championship—until he met a beautiful young med student who changed his life.

Blake Eden is in the last few months of her general practice residency, interviewing for jobs and eager to move forward. But before she can seize her future, she needs to settle some things from her past—like bringing closure to her impulsive marriage to rodeo champion Tommy Wyatt.

When Blake shows up at the Salinas Rodeo demanding Tommy sign their divorce papers, Tommy makes it clear he isn’t interested in signing anything. When he married Blake, he meant his vows. Now Tommy has one week to convince his secret wife they’re meant to be together.

My Review:
I liked this book, however I was not a huge fan of Blake. I understand the push and pull of her emotions but she just came off as weak and sometimes really annoying. At one point I wanted to just yell at her. I loved Tommy. He was amazing. He loved hard, worked hard and would do anything for those he loved truly a man’s man with a huge heart. I have read about some of the other characters in this book so it was fun to catch up and see what they are up to. I loved Melvin. He truly has the biggest heart for his family and such a grandpa that anyone would be blessed to have. Overall this book was a good read.

  Description:

Now Ann's in huge trouble...and the only person who can help her is the adorkable guy who completely humiliated her back in high school.

Lawyer Eric Maxwell has been in love with Ann as long as he can remember. He was waaaay too nerdy to win a beautiful girl like her. But when Ann lands in serious hot chocolate, he offers to give her free legal services...if she'll help him go from nerd-without-a-clue to bona fide bad boy.

And once the transition is complete, he’ll have everything he needs to prove that he’s the guy for her…

Each book in the Stealing the Heart series is STANDALONE:
* Stealing the Groom
* Resisting Her Rival
* Stealing the Bachelor

My Review:
This is a new to me author so I did not read the other book in the series. However this book was really cute. While Ann had her guard up most of the book but she also showed her softer side as well. I liked all the sisters and there husbands they lost a lot but they also made a family and had each other for the tough times. Eric has a way of wanting to always come to the rescue of those he cares about but I felt in someways he come off as an enabler instead of helping his loved ones out. I liked him and I liked how the author made him more relatable then making him this knight and shining armor guy riding in to save the day and untouchable. I loved Noah and his antics with the sisters. Overall this book was a cute read an I would read it again.

Cooper Dawson comes to Cinnamon Bay on a mission. A travel writer, he’s eager to visit the beachside small town. His dream job is just within reach, but that changes when he meets Laura and recognizes something in her that he understands all too well.

Cooper’s the kind of guy Laura would have picked on before. Now she’s searching for redemption while he longs for a way to find his place in the world. Is it possible for two opposites to find healing together?

My Review:
I feel like this author gets deep in emotions and then drags them out of your heart as you are reading and that was very much the case with this book. I felt so many emotions while reading this. I Liked Laura a lot she wanted to do right by her daughter and those people she hurt. Cooper had a rough go at things early in life and his story is so powerful, he was such an amazing read. This book was very good and I could not put it down. This book does have adult situations and may not be suitable for all ages. I will say the only thing I did not like was the end, I was left with so many questions. But if you know this author you know she is not done with a character and I am sure we will see more of Cooper and Laura. Also I loved Julian he's got such a big heart and I can't wait for his story.

Wander Canyon

Book 1: Their Wander Canyon Wish
Book 2: Winning Back Her Heart
Book 3: His Christmas Wish
Book 4: A Mother's Strength
Book 5: Secrets of their Past

My Review:
This is one of those books that will hit I think most readers a little different. I really liked this book I felt like it go to the heart but also left you laughing in parts as well. I loved Tessa she was a forced to be reckoned with. She was a single mom to one and a mom to all. She had a big heart and set out on a mission to tell her towns story. Neal on the other hand keeps his cards close to his chest and finds it hard to let people in. I found the journey he took to find out who he was, was not easy but for many who read this story will find it relatable. I like that the author kept this book a clean read so that it will be suitable for all. Overall this is a fun read and takes you on a journey for sure.

Quantico Profilers

Book 1: Texas Cold Case Threat

My Review:
This is one of those books you really can’t put down or you might miss something or so it seems. The author keeps you guessing for sure. So when reading this book I did it late one night when I couldn’t sleep right as the boom was coming to an intense part my dog jumped on me I about screamed, so read beware of your surroundings for sure. There was a big part in the book where I was so mad at Tack and wanted to jump into the pages and talk some sense into him oh my. I really liked Chelsey, she's a fighter and while she made some not so great choices she knew what needed to be done. Overall I just really enjoyed this quick read and I’m the end I wanted so much more from these friends.  Grab this one and you won’t be disappointed!!

The Sugarcreek Surprise Wanda E. Brunstetter

 Description:
Welcome to Sugarcreek, Ohio, where the Amish schoolteacher has a determined admirer. Tragically losing her parents as a child, Lisa Miller has grown up being afraid of loving and losing. She dedicates herself to teaching at an Amish schoolhouse and helping the grandparents who raised her, all the while avoiding the advances of newcomer Paul Herchberger. Paul enjoys antiques and meets Orley Troyer while looking for unique old milk bottles at yard sales. Orley and his wife offer prayers and advice as Paul tries to reach Lisa’s closed heart. But when secrets are revealed, will Lisa use them as an excuse to close herself off again?

My Review:
I really liked this book a lot. I feel like when people think Amish they think they have a simple life and they don't necessarily face the same things as the rest of us. In this book thats far from the truth. I really Liked Lisa and even though her faith was strong she struggled with fear of loosing those close to her she was strong and kept fighting. Paul he was a good guy with a big heart that needed healing, he too had a few things he needed to work out but with his faith in God and his willingness to ask for help he was willing to face things head on which is not always easy. I feel like my emotions were all over the place with this book you would be laughing in on page and then tears in another. I Liked that I was able to catch up with the Towers again in the book they are the sweetest couple and I was so glad to read more about them. Overall this is a clean read and I would recommend it to anyone.
