My Review:

I was so excited to be able to grab this book and catch up with the sister and their family, and the author did not disappoint with this story. So for me I do not read the description of most books before I read them so I  did not know what to expect and I was so glad with this book. The author did amazing job and getting to all the feelings and keep you sucked in with this story. I could not put this book down. I truly felt I was catching up with friends and not reading a story. The characters were so relatable. Gage took crap from no one and had me chuckle because you never know what he was going to say or do next. Cooper and Adam both loved Zoey so fiercely and protectively only wanting what was best for her. I truly can keep going on all the things I loved about this book but I really don't want to ruin the fun for you when you read it. Overall this book did not disappoint and the author kept it a clean read.

My Review:

If you’ve ever experienced loss, this book will hit you right in the heart. Roxanne has crafted a powerful, emotional journey that explores grief, personal growth, and the unexpected twists life throws at us.

  Colt—what a character! He’s the kind of person who’s been through a lot but still has so much heart. His selflessness and compassion shine through, making him a truly endearing character. I have to admit, the reveal of JP Malone’s identity completely shocked me! It was such a twist that I never saw coming, and it added an extra layer of depth to the story. The author kept me on my toes, and that’s part of what made this book so hard to put down. 

Another thing worth mentioning is how the author managed to keep the story clean, focusing on the emotional and character-driven aspects without resorting to unnecessary drama or explicit content. It’s refreshing to find a book that tells such an impactful story while maintaining a wholesome approach. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The emotional highs and lows, the twists, and the strong character development made it a truly rewarding read. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a story that not only entertains but also tugs at your heartstrings. It’s absolutely worth the read.

My Review:

This book was amazing I truly could not put this book down. This book was so emotional, so powerful and very gut wrenching, but it was a story that needed to be told. If you have read any books in Marietta for any amount of time you have read about Carol and this is her story and after reading I am glad it was told, I didn't even know that it need to be told but it really did. Frank was amazing and has the biggest heart and such and amazing character that you walk away feeling like a better person for sure. Carol had this mask that she had on for so long to hide the pain for so many years of loss, and betrayal. I feel like the author grabs you by the heart and makes each character in the book so relatable. She also make if feel like you are right there in the middle of the story. I am tying to keep this on the vague because I feel like I could go on and on but then I feel like I would ruin the book for you. So I will say this grab you box of tissues and grab this book you will not be disappointed. This book is worth every bit.

My Review:

This is one of those stories that is completely relatable, whether with the main characters or one of the sub characters but either way I felt like someone will connect with one or all. I loved Jeff what and amazing man, he didn't have a lot to say but when he spoke everyone listened because it was something you needed to hear. I felt with Charlotte and even a little bit with Emerson they had away of taking what life dealt and putting a positive spin on it. They Bothe faced so much and yet they worked hard to leave their town in a better place. I felt so much for Gunner he loved so deeply and lost so much that the way the story played out was not a surprise but so emotional. Overall I really enjoyed this book with some tough subject that were talked about the author did an amazing job of balancing laughter in there as well. The author did keep this a clean read so it would be suitable for all.

My Review:

I liked this book, however I was not a huge fan of Blake. I understand the push and pull of her emotions but she just came off as weak and sometimes really annoying. At one point I wanted to just yell at her. I loved Tommy. He was amazing. He loved hard, worked hard and would do anything for those he loved truly a man’s man with a huge heart. I have read about some of the other characters in this book so it was fun to catch up and see what they are up to. I loved Melvin. He truly has the biggest heart for his family and such a grandpa that anyone would be blessed to have. Overall this book was a good read.

My Review:

I feel like this author gets deep in emotions and then drags them out of your heart as you are reading and that was very much the case with this book. I felt so many emotions while reading this. I Liked Laura a lot she wanted to do right by her daughter and those people she hurt. Cooper had a rough go at things early in life and his story is so powerful, he was such an amazing read. This book was very good and I could not put it down. This book does have adult situations and may not be suitable for all ages. I will say the only thing I did not like was the end, I was left with so many questions. But if you know this author you know she is not done with a character and I am sure we will see more of Cooper and Laura. Also I loved Julian he's got such a big heart and I can't wait for his story.

My Review:

I usually do not read non fiction but when I do I want a book that will knock my socks off. This book did that for me. While some books I can knock out in one setting this is a book you will want to take your time and saver the authors words and her journey through the loss of her husband. This story is definitely is a book you may want to grab of a box of tissues. I think no matter where you are in your journey with grief I found this author had a new perspective of grief. I also feel that this is not just about loss of a spouse but really anyone who you love and care about. Its about meeting God every step of the way and finding his peace in your journey. Some of the stories the author shared about the signs she felt God give her about the dreams all those just left me with chills and made me stop and really thank God for the signs he has give me even though I had not seen them so clear at the time. Over all this book is worth the read not matter where you are its insightful and has away of getting you in the heart right where you need it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. My Review:

This is a new to me author so of course I wasn't sure what to expect. I will say the author did not disappoint I kind of feel invested in all these characters lives now. I loved Andrew he was the best friend/brother anyone truly could as for and with such an active role in this book I want him to have HIs happy ever after for sure. I liked Ava and Jenna their personalities seem to shine off the pages. With some of the things that Both Maverick and Kennedy reached faced I found this book more on the  emotional side of a rom-com. I felt like they were both stubborn and pig headed and they would push each others buttons which added to the laughter of it all. There is some adult situations in this book that may not be suitable for all readers. Over all I did enjoy this book it did drag in a few parts but when it was good it was really good and made up for it, such a fun read.  I received a complimentary copy of this book. My thoughts on the book:

This author never seems to disappoint and gets right to the heart of the matter. I feel like with this book and this series the characters feel completely relatable. I really like Janie she was a fighter and would stop at nothing to do what was right for her "son". Will he has such a big heart and you can tell he was raise right by Janie and my heart kind of broke for him in the beginning of this book. Aiden man he was a hard shell to crack. I really like the other characters in the book as well, except for Maxi. Maxi I just want to hunt her down and smacker her myself. Overall this book was a fun read and I hope this is not the last we hear from these characters. I received a complimentary copy of this book. I really liked these characters they were just super passionate about everything they did including their own lives. I will say this book has a lot of passion and will have your emotions all over the place. I liked Chantel, but I also felt she held her self in to protect herself she was a tough shell to crack. Gabe good ole cowboy feel to him that kept things real and what you see is what you get. I was not a fan of Marla I just felt like she was never a good person. There is a good amount of sexual content and adult language so may not be suitable for all. Over all this was a fun book and so well worth the read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. This book was very good and super emotional. I think this is the first time I have read this style of book where the couple is already married and one is fighting to keep it that way. I think for anyone who has ever dealt with infertility this book might his a little close to home, but it was so good and the author truly did not sugar coat anything which was nice. I loved Becky man she is a spit fire and she seems so wise beyond her years. there is a mild sexual content in the book but not graphic. Well she freaking did it again, I swear this author's books need to come with some sort of warning, aka this book will need at least two boxes of tissues and maybe one stiff drink, now that I have given you are warning let me tell you my thoughts. This book was SO good but also so emotional and gut wrenching Sam is really going through hell to get back to those he loves but also trying to find who he is. I loved Stacy she always wanted to help those she loves and forgets about herself. I feel like she is so relatable and so someone I feel like I could be friends with. Lily and her story in this just broke my heart I won't give anything away but WOW OH WOW!!! Over all this book was so powerful and so good I really could not put this down and I was glad to read more about Winnie, Parker, Tucker, and Quinn. I can't wait to see where the author goes next with this group but I am sure we all won't be disappointed. For those who are content sensitive: this book contains non-graphic scenes and descriptions of physical and sexual content. I received a complimentary copy of this book. My thoughts on the book:

The Christmas not Wish

Before you sit down and start reading grab a box of tissues you will thank you me later. 

This story was so guy wrenching, two children looking for they belonged and wanting nothing more then to have a family who loves them. EA and Will want a family and they get a surprise but they love these two like no other. This story was the perfect Christmas story it just draws you in and before you know it it’s over. So so good!

New Beginnings

When faced with loosing someone you love is hard enough but during the holidays is even harder. Elizabeth faced just that and she was trying her hardest to continue to tackle life as if threw her for a loop. Luke has always pined for Elizabeth and if that meant helping her and loving her from a far he was going to do it even if it killed him inside. I like Luke for that reason he just seemed to have this big heart of gold and was whiling to be there for his neighbors no matter who that was. This was a tough story to read if you ever loss someone close because you can truly feel the emotions, but you really can’t go wrong with it either.

Twins Times Two

This story was kind of a lighthearted story in away compared to the other two stories in the book. While Abagail dealt with loss she was healing and trying to make amends with the past. I loved the twin brothers man what kind of mischief those four could get into, and boy did they add some laughter to this book. I like Jube he was a sweet spirit who just left you wanting to do more for others. I like this story a lot it really did remind you what Christmas was all about. 

Overall this book was a fun read emotional but also lighthearted. This book is a good clean read and suitable for all ages. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

My thoughts on the book:

This is a new author to me so I wasn't sure what to think at first, however the author did not disappoint. The first thing I did noticed is the book is told in a first person point of view. What I liked was that although told in a FPP the author told the story from both characters point of view so there was no way you are going to miss a thing. Hands down I loved Fin what an amazing little girl with lots of sass. I however did not like Brie and was glad the author made her story short. This book is very powerful, intense, and super emotional the author did an amazing job and getting to the heart of the matter and totally drawing you in leaving you wanting me. I loved how no matter what Morgan faced Jackson was going to have her back, he truly was a hero. This book does have curse words and sex so may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was amazing and I truly could not put this down, when you grab this book make sure you have a box of tissue close by. I received a complimentary copy of this book. My thoughts on the book:

I liked this story it was super cute, emotional and a fun read. I liked Sarah my heart broke for her and everything she faced, but she was a fighter and nothing was going to hold her back from getting what she wants. Oh my goodness Cade I think I have a dislike/love relationship with him in this story. Sometimes I wanted to smack him and then sometimes my heart broke for him, I think in this story you will find two heroes not just one. I also really enjoyed the other characters in the book they are all a fun group of friends and the author made you feel like you were right there hanging out. I can't wait to see what adventure the author takes Dean and Hope one, or at least that's what I hope the author is going for next. :-).
