He agrees to join her in Grand and film the reunion she hopes will be a new beginning. One problem—Honey's foster daughter, Emmet Garcia.

JP Malone, the mysterious cowboy who disappeared, leaving her pregnant, Em and Colt must work together to help the woman they love finally face her painful past. In this season of miracles, when the lost are found and strangers become family, can Em and Colt overcome their own wounds and forge a future together?

My Review:
If you’ve ever experienced loss, this book will hit you right in the heart. Roxanne has crafted a powerful, emotional journey that explores grief, personal growth, and the unexpected twists life throws at us.
Colt—what a character! He’s the kind of person who’s been through a lot but still has so much heart. His selflessness and compassion shine through, making him a truly endearing character. I have to admit, the reveal of JP Malone’s identity completely shocked me! It was such a twist that I never saw coming, and it added an extra layer of depth to the story. The author kept me on my toes, and that’s part of what made this book so hard to put down.
Another thing worth mentioning is how the author managed to keep the story clean, focusing on the emotional and character-driven aspects without resorting to unnecessary drama or explicit content. It’s refreshing to find a book that tells such an impactful story while maintaining a wholesome approach. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The emotional highs and lows, the twists, and the strong character development made it a truly rewarding read. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a story that not only entertains but also tugs at your heartstrings. It’s absolutely worth the read.

 Montana Cowboy Miracle Jane Porter

 Description:
This Christmas he’s confronting the past…

Wyoming rancher Cade Hunt rents a room in Marietta for the month of December for one purpose—to unravel the mysteries of his past. He’s not interested in the local Christmas festivities, even though his pretty landlord Merri Bradley is more appealing than any woman he can remember.

After losing her husband far too early, hospice nurse Merri has dedicated her life to caring for the grief-stricken during their final goodbyes. She loves her busy and fulfilling life and has no time for a brooding cowboy during her favorite time of year. Yet Cade is tempting, and she’s technically his hostess.

But Marietta is full of Christmas magic and miracles. Soon Cade is embraced by the family he didn't know he had—a grandfather and four Wyatt cowboy cousins. For the first time in his life, Cade has a sense of belonging and the desire to set down roots if only he can convince Merri that second chances are the best chance for their own happily ever after.

My Review:
So far I haven't found a book that is in Marietta MT that I don't like, I feel like its coming home. That was very much the case with this book. I feel like I was catching up with friends and settling in for a fun adventure ahead. I really liked both characters why they both faced there own adversities they both helped those that meant the world to them and helped any one that crossed there path the may be in a tight spot. I loved Merri she had such a huge heart and was just really hard not to like. Cade really tugged at my heart strings he was looking to feel like he belonged somewhere but he just needed to know where that was. I feel like there is more adventures ahead in Marietta and I can't wait to see where the author takes this family next. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Hostile Intent Lynette Eason

 Description:

She already lost her father while deployed, and there's no way she's going to let her mother die alone. But after a visit to the nursing facility where her mother lives, Ava is attacked walking back to her car. Fortunately, FBI Special Agent Caden Denning arrives in time to help fight off her attacker.

Caden reveals to Ava that she may hold the key to the murders of three families, and he needs her help before anyone else is harmed. The hits show a pattern, and clearly the killer has an agenda. But if Caden and Ava can't discover what it is, Ava may be next on the hit list.

Bestselling author Lynette Eason concludes her latest suspense-filled series with a bang as secrets are revealed and the guilty are brought to justice.

My Review:
I could not put this book down the author did not disappoint at all that's for sure. Through most of the book it was completely action packed and has you on the edge of your seat. It also feels very much like you are right there. I loved Ava she just went through so much and so many emotions but would let nothing or no one stop her from finding the truth, she was a true fighter. Caden was there to fight for the rights of everyone and get to the bottom of truth and trying to protect Ava without loosing his heart. I really enjoyed reading about the friends of the characters too it felt more like a family then just friends. The author had no problem making you really really dislike the bad guy either but then make you feel bad for him a little too. Overall this book was an amazing read and I can't wait to see what the author does next with this group of friends.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Cowboy Tough Michelle Beattie

 Description:

There’s no such thing as a coincidence...

Ryker Granger can’t believe his luck when he meets a beautiful woman stranded on the side of the road outside of Last Stand, Texas. Normally this rancher and part-time mechanic would be too reserved to jump into a relationship, especially since his family is still reeling from questions surrounding their father’s heart attack. But his life’s a tangled mess and Shannon is a welcome distraction.

Shannon Smith set out to meet Ryker Granger. Her staged car breakdown was only the beginning of her plan. Meeting Ryker is her chance to right the wrongs his father inflicted on her family. Her plan skews wildly off course—she only meant to score a date, not fall in love. And Ryker’s a straight arrow; he’ll never forgive such blatant deception. But how can she walk away from the man who has claimed her heart?

As Ryker solves the mystery around his father and learns why Shannon came to Last Stand, he faces his toughest choice yet. Forgive a lie or lose the woman he loves forever?

My thoughts on the book:

I liked the story over all. I liked Shannon and how her heart was in the right place and how she wanted what was best for her sister, niece and her family. I loved how she went after what she wanted and also dealt with the consequences of those choices. Ryker also had a heart for his family and wanted to help bring his family or at least his brothers back together. What I was not a fan of was I felt like the author repeated herself a lot for the majority of the book. This book does have adult situations and strong language in it. Over all I would say the story does get to your heart and it was a good read. I would love to read Hudson’s story and find out what happens next with him. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Lassoed by the Would-Be Rancher Melinda Curtis- The Mountain Monroes #4

Description:

USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR

If there’s a way to her heart…

…he’ll jump at the chance!

CEO Shane Monroe sticks out like a sore thumb in Second Chance, Idaho, where he’s investigating his grandfather’s connection to the town’s folklore of stolen treasure. Feisty local Franny Clark ridicules his city-slicker ways but allows Shane to hunt for gold on her land…if he can help save her rodeo ranch. Shane is captivated by Franny’s go-getting attitude, but what will it take for him to win her over?

My thoughts on the book:

I really have enjoyed reading about the Monroe Family they are a fun bunch learning to live and grow with the new circumstances they have been handed. I have to say I was not much a fan of this couple. I loved the Clark children and Gertie they were so fun to read about. I loved Davey and how not matter what he "took the bull by the horns" and ran with it, he was a fighter and it was hard not to love him and his independent spirit. If you have been following the Monroe Family this book will catch you up on the comings and goings and is well worth the read. I also have to say I really liked reading about Bo and Jonah I can't wait to read more of their stories and see what kind of trouble those to cause. This book is a clean read and so good. I received a complimentary copy of this book. But can she and Danny find a way to fight against Skylar’s wealthy, powerful ex who is dead set on tearing them apart?

“Filled with passion, suspense, and strong characters.”—Rendezvous with Romance on My Favorite Cowboy (5 stars)

My thoughts on the book:

I will say this book did not disappoint at all but the book is super intense as it does deal with Domestic Violence and has you on the edge of your seat almost the whole book. I had a hard time putting this book down. You know who the bad guy is from the beginning but the author keeps you guessing on what is going to happen next and where the story is headed. The author did not sugar coat anything in this story. There is strong language and sex throughout the book so may not be suitable for all readers. This book was really good and completely worth the read. I also loved the "family" aspect of this story and how Danny surround himself with some great people who were not only friends but family and when Danny tried to withdrawal into himself they would set up and draw him back to the flock. Seriously this book will not let you down. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Cowboy Rebel Carolyn Brown -(Longhorn Canyon #4)

Description:

A wild Texas cowboy is about to meet his match in an ER nurse in this heartwarming romance from a USA Today bestseller, which includes a bonus novella from Annie Rains.

Ever since losing his best friend in a motorcycle accident, Taggart Baker wants to make every moment count. No dare is too dangerous, no adventure too crazy for this cowboy. But after one bad brush with the law, he realizes it's time to ditch his hooligan friends and grow up. Now he's running his own ranch next to the Longhorn Canyon spread in Texas. Still, no one would ever call him tame.

Nikki Grady has worked too hard for her RN license just to throw it away for some reckless cowboy who shows up in her emergency room after a barroom brawl. But she can't help being drawn to Tag's sense of humor and those crystal blue eyes. The more time they spend together, the more she sees his good heart. But just as Tag seems ready to settle down for good, his troubled past comes calling-and this time he won't be able to walk away so easily.

Includes the bonus novella A Wedding on Lavender Hill by Annie Rains: When an event planner is asked to create the perfect wedding in just three days, she must turn to the last person she wants to ask for help -- the infuriating owner of the house on the hilltop.

My thoughts on the book:

I really liked this book it was a fun read for sure. My heart broke for Nikki I felt so bad for her because of all the things she faced with her mom and how she seemed to crave this "mother/daughter" relationship that just didn't seem to work because of who her mom is. I really enjoyed how the relationship with Tag and Nikki was a gradual thing and not all about how strong the chemistry was an how to make it work after, it just felt natural. Tag was this bad boy in training but looking for a reason to see more in life and the struggle was so evident with him. I really enjoyed the relationship that Tag has with his siblings and how important they are to him and he is to them even though he choose to "live like he is dying." Oh my goodness and how can you not love the fab 5 and the fun they add they were such a hoot. I loved how the author used a ton of country song reference in the book which was fun. This book has some a adult language and situations. This book was fun read and I can't wait to read more from these fun characters I really can't wait to see what happens with Hud and the Irish Brothers soon.I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. Description:

Los Angeles chewed him up, spit him out, and sent him back to square one. Amara Fowler has lived in the small beach town her entire life. When the alluring Rafael returns, he can’t help but stir in her a whirlwind of old feelings. They’ve both changed so much. Has life kept them incompatible or has it molded them into a matching set? Seaside Kisses is the fourth standalone in the Seaside Hunters collection, a series of sweet contemporary romance novels. If you like falling head over heels for characters as they fall for each other, then you'll love the latest entry in this light, romantic series with just a hint of mystery.
My thoughts on the book:

This is the first book for me by both this author and this series and oh how fun it was. I love finding new authors and even more happy when I find a new fun series. This book reminding me a of the "ugly duckling" type story looking for her prince, while he was looking for the diamond in the rough. This book has a lot of fun, romance and some suspense thrown in. I really enjoyed how the Hunter's gathered around and stood strong no matter who faced what. I loved the relationship between Adam and Amara, they have this tight bond that was unbreakable no matter what happened or who was in their lives. This story has a huge sense of family and it just added a whole other element to the story over all. I loved how the author kept the story over all a clean read but there was this huge amount of organic chemistry jumping off the pages. If you are looking for a quick and fun read grab this book you won't regret it.

Description:
Trey Bennett’s an ex-con. Loren Williams is an East Coast socialite.

He saves her life when they’re stranded in a blizzard, but she could make or break his.

Will love make it all right in time for Christmas?

A sweet romance about the healing power of love, this wholesome, clean-read novella is part of the Green Pines Romance series.

My thoughts on the book:

This book is a short sweet and to the point read. But just because it short doesn't mean it lacks. I really enjoyed this fun read. It took some twist and turns and kept you drawn into the story. I really like how this was a good clean read. I loved how even though Loren was a socialite the author had her come across as just a normal every day person. Hadley only agreed to continue the deception in exchange for a promotion. But moving up the corporate ladder pales beside her growing feelings for Tyler. Will his past and Blackwell family secrets sabotage what Hadley wants more than anything—a real wedding?

My thoughts on the book:

I loved this book, I have been really enjoy reading this series so far and this book has not disappointed at all. I loved how Hadley had this independent personality who seem to take any situation by the horns and runs with it. I loved how honest and real the emotions got with both Hadley and Tyler. I loved how it caught up with the characters from the other books, I also really enjoyed how this author sucks you into the story at the beginning and has you turning the pages. This book just seemed to follow it seemed to short if you ask me but it was super amazing and leaves you wanting more in the end. If you have not read this series yet grab this book and the others and have fun you will not be disappointed.

The Cowboy's Last Rodeo Jeannie Watt- The 79th Cooper Mountain Rodeo #4

Description:

Shane Marvell's career as a rodeo rider is ending far too soon. He doesn’t have a plan B, so during his last season, he’s all in, determined to win as much prize money as possible--even if it means riding injured and taking more risks than he should.

Ella Etxeberri has always played it safe, so when her life still takes a bad turn despite her caution, she wonders if it isn’t time to see what she’s been missing. While researching risk behaviors in rodeo riders, she meets Shane Marvell, a cowboy who merits additional study of the personal variety.

Just as Ella is hitting the point to embrace risk, Shane is pulling back. He knows Ella’s all-in approach is born of curiosity and whim. He’s not what she wants forever, and perhaps Ella is one risk he can't allow himself to take.

My thoughts on the book:

Ella sets out too make a name away from her family and finding herself, so she sets off on an adventure. Shane has one more season to prove himself because he has too retire. So he's out healing his body and his heart. Can Ella and Shane have one more bang of an adventure?

For most of this book I felt like this should have been the first book in the series, it seems to really lead up to the 79th Rodeo so unlike the other books in the series it did not coincide with the rodeo. However towards the end of the book it does mention big points from the other books in the first part of this series, so be for warned and it does also catch up with the Copper Mountain rodeo.
I really also enjoyed how Ella was this strong independent person yet still trying to find herself.  I also like how this wasn't necessarily one person chasing the other but both chasing a dream and trying to find out what they wanted to do when they "grow up". I however felt like some parts of the book did dragged and the book did start off a little slow. The book does have adult language and situations but overall as I have read every book so far in this series I would recommend this book as it seems to tie things together and makes the other books make more sense.

True-Blue Cowboy Sara Richardson- Rocky Mountain Riders #4

Description:
Can this cowboy be tamed?
Everly Brooks is finally living her dream. Renting a farm in Topaz Falls, Colorado, is the perfect antidote to her high-stress life back in San Francisco. It's the ideal place to raise chickens, grow veggies, and run her farm-to-table restaurant. There's just one problem: her new landlord. Mateo Torres is a handsome-as-hell bronc rider who oozes charm, melts hearts-and plans to kick Everly off the farm . . .

Mateo has dreams, too. He'd bought that land as an investment so he could take care of his mom and sisters, which means Everly has to go. Unfortunately for him, this former big-city girl is just as stubborn as the broncs he rides. When his trailer floods and forces him to move into Everly's farmhouse, things between them really start to heat up. Sure, living under the same roof might not be the best way to settle their dispute over the land. But when two rivals share everything-from heated words to scorching kisses-it's definitely the hottest.

More in the Rocky Mountain Riders series:
Hometown Cowboy
Comeback Cowboy
Renegade Cowboy
True-Blue Cowboy
Rocky Mountain Cowboy (short story)

My thoughts on the book:

Everly is finally doing something she loves when Mateo comes into her life things seem to be going against everything she has planned. Mateo will stop at nothing to do everything for his family. Can they both do what they love and protect their hearts?
I really enjoyed the books I have read in this series and this book did not disappoint. I really loved the friendships. I loved how a town can rally around each other and support each other. I really enjoyed how sweet, independent Everyly is she is hands down one of my favorite characters in this series. I really also loved reading about Kenna and I hope that she has a story coming one day. This book seemed like it flew and was a real page turner, I was kind of sad to see it end I can't wait for more. If you have never read any book in this series you can't go wrong.

Small Town Love Susan Meier

Description:
After her estranged father is indicted for insider trading, wealthy heiress and morning talk show personality, Evelyn Barclay, returns to Paradise Key. She takes a job with a friend, only to discover she's now in charge of Paradise Key's sexy mayor, Paxton James.

Pax wants nothing to do with the video Evie needs to produce for the town's new website. But he can't deny that every time he's around her, sparks fly. Not only is she beautiful, but when Evie steps up to help his daughter, he sees another side of her.

Just as Pax and Evie grow closer, her dad's appearance in Paradise Key threatens to send her into hiding again and ruin their budding relationship.

My thoughts on the book:

Evelyn just can not get away from her dad and his mistakes. After finding out he's is being indicted she heads back to Paradise Key where she can hide from the press and spend time with her friends she has always felt like family.  Pax has always loved Paradise key but now he is being pulled in every direction when the Pistol Evie decides he needs to be the face of Paradise Key whether he likes it or not. They have this attraction and both are healing can they come together or will it be too much for both of them and they are better off as friends?
I have read this series from the beginning and I just love these four girls they are fun and unique in there own ways and that goes with Evie as well. I loved Sam she is a pistol even though she is 12 she was just so easy to love reading about. I feel like while reading I was catching up with friends. Pain and forgiveness is a funny thing sometimes you have to get through the pain to get to the forgiveness and that was very much the case in this book. Both Evie and her Dad needed to stop dancing around each other and face the pain head on so they can get to the forgiveness to get to the living. This book was so worth the read and super fun. Some adult language but very mild. Grab this book you won't regret it.

Only With You Nicole McLaughlin- Man Enough #4

Description:
The men in Nicole McLaughlin’s Man Enough series are tough Alphas devoted to serving their country and the women who love them.

National Guardsman Aiden King has been attracted to Hannah Walters for a while, but he never made a move because of her close relationship with his best friend. But when circumstances change, Aiden is surprised when his friend gives his blessing. Problem is, there’s a reason he’s still alone after all these years, and as much as he wants her, that secret keeps him from acting on his desires.

Hannah has finally decided to wait for the kind of love you read about in books and see in movies. After her failed engagement, Aiden’s unassuming support has become a touchstone for Hannah. It soon becomes apparent that he may be exactly the kind of man she’s been looking for. But the closer they become, the more he keeps her at arm’s length.

When Aiden suggests a road trip to take Hannah’s mind off her troubles, the two of them go on a journey neither one expected. She just hopes that the final destination is them together for good.

My thoughts on the book:
Aiden has a secret and he's a man so they aren't supposed to share the horrible past, they are told to suck it up and just move past. It's the moving past that Aiden is having a hard time doing and it seems he has met his match when it comes to Hannah. Hannah knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get it. This year she wants to focus on being a better her. But when Aiden crashes into her life it seems things are about to change. Can they fight together for the greater purpose or will it all be just too for them?

The author held nothing back in this book everything seemed fair game. The characters were faced with some tough subjects. I loved how the author didn't necessarily make this book super deep she added a soft element to it where you found your self either laughing or crying. I enjoyed Hannah and how she continues to work on her relationship with Becca. This book does have some strong and adult language in it, but it did not consume the book.  I also enjoyed how Hannah had this struggle and this way of finding herself and being ok with or without a man but always relying on Love in the end. I have read a few books from this series and I am ready for more its such a fun group of characters to follow. I can't wait to see where the author takes them next.

Pelican Point Irene Hannon

Description:
A crumbling lighthouse is not part of the inheritance Army doctor Ben Garrison expects to claim when he journeys to Hope Harbor. Fresh out of the service, he wants only to unload the tower of bricks, decompress from years of treating battlefield trauma and prepare to launch his civilian career.

Hope Harbor Herald editor Marci Weber has other ideas. She may not be a Hope Harbor native, but the small Oregon seaside town has become home--and she's determined to save the Pelican Point landmark.

Sparks fly as the two go head to head over the fate of the lighthouse. But when they start to cooperate, a different kind of fire ignites. And as they work together, might Hope Harbor heal the hearts of these two romance-wary souls?

Bestselling author Irene Hannon invites readers back to their favorite town for a story that will light a beacon of hope within their hearts.

My thoughts on the book:

Ben comes back to Hope Harbor to close up his grandfather's estate. When his grandfather leaves him a lighthouse he now needs to stay to figure out what to do with it. Marci has been in Hope Harbor for two years and she loves her small town. When the landmark Lighthouse seems to be in danger of being bought and taken down. Can they come together for the greater reason for the town of Hope Harbor and the legacy of Skip or will it be to late?
I loved this book. I loved the fun characters, I mean you have "talking" seagulls," mind reading" taco man, priest, and pastor, I mean what really more can you expect but fun. I really enjoyed how the book sucks you in and you have a hard time putting the book down. The book has a small side story going on which was just as equally amazing. This book did not disappoint the characters face some tough stuff so the book is not all roses and flowers but its amazing. Seriously you can not go wrong with this book.

Total Bravery Piper J. Drake

Description:

True heroes will do anything to protect the women they love...

As the newest recruit at Search and Protect, Raul has a lot to prove. Luckily, he's got the best friend and partner a man could ask for: a highly trained, fiercely loyal German Shepherd Dog named Taz. Together, Raul and Taz make an unbeatable team. But their first mission in Hawaii really puts them to the test when an international kidnapping ring sets its sights on the bravest woman Raul's ever met . . .

Mali knows her latest job has put one hell of a target on her back. And on this small island paradise, there's nowhere to hide. With a service dog like Taz, Mali feels safe. Sharing close quarters with a smoldering muscle-for-hire like Raul, she feels something else - an unexpected wave of desire. Raul feels it too. But when the kidnappers make their move, he's got to turn that slow-burning passion into hard-hitting action - and save the life of the woman he loves.

My thoughts on the book:
Raul is new to the team dogs he can relate to people not so much. When he is set out to help is best friends sister he now needs to prove himself to his new team and protect his heart in the mean time. Mali is in Hawaii to do research and try and help those who can't always help themselves. But when things go array she reaches out to her sister for help and she got Raul instead. Can they work together to rescue those close to her or is she better off on her own?

This is the second book in this series I have read and I have really enjoyed it. I enjoyed how the book flowed and there was never dull moment in this book at all. I loved how the author worked in the strong personalities of the dogs and they did not disappoint either. The author knew what she was doing when to took a very intense situation and throws in humor to keep the story interesting and your attention even more. There are adult scenes in this book so may not be suitable for all readers. The book other wise is amazing and so good from beginning to end you really can not go wrong. I can't wait to whats in store for the rest of the team members.

Troubled Waters Susan May Warren ( Montana Rescue #4)

Description:
Billionaire Ian Shaw can have everything he wants--except a happy ending. Or at least that's what it feels like with his fortune recently liquidated, his niece, Esme, still missing, and the woman he loves refusing to speak to him. In fact, he doubts she would date him even if they were stranded on a deserted island.

Despite her love for Ian, Sierra Rose knows he has no room in his life for her as long as the mystery of his missing niece goes unsolved. The only problem is, Sierra has solved it, but a promise to Esme to keep her whereabouts secret has made it impossible to be around Ian.

When the PEAK chopper is damaged and Sierra lacks the funds to repair it, Ian offers a fundraising junket for large donors on his yacht in the Caribbean. But the three-day excursion turns into a nightmare when a rogue wave cripples the yacht and sends the passengers overboard. Shaken up and soaked to the bone, Ian finally has a chance to test his theory when he and Sierra do indeed find themselves washed up on a strange, empty shore.

It will take guts and gumption for the PEAK team to rescue the duo. But it will take a miracle to rescue Ian and Sierra's relationship.

My thoughts on the book:

In this book Ian is torn on what to do next with his life. He loves Montana and he Loves his niece but he feels like maybe that chapter of his life is done. However it seems he can get Sierra out of his heart, mind and he just doesn't want her out of his life. Sierra needs to do what ever is possible to save her Peak. She feel like this is the only "family" she has. Can they work together or is it best for them to just part ways?
I love the cover of this book it really does sum up the story. I Loved this book a lot the story held my attention and I had a hard time putting it down. I seriously can't wait for more from this team, I want to know what happens with Jess, Ty, and Pete and some many more things that were revealed in this book. I felt like with Ian's story it felt a lot like Job from the bible and he felt completely relatable in some sense. I loved Dex and Sierra there fighting spirit and the way they seemed to be open and bounce back a lot made me feel more like friends. I love this series it feels truly like a great group of friends who your catching up with and the author throws in a ton of suspense that keeps you turning each page and leaving you wanting so much more in the end, of course in a good way. I loved that this book is a good clean read also.

Once Upon a Texas Christmas Katherine Garbera- Whiskey River Christmas Series #4

Description:
Avery Burton loves her job as assistant to Logan Calloway. A big time Hollywood A-lister, Logan spends all his time on the West Coast leaving her to run his charity in Whiskey River. Staying busy and giving back to the community that is the only real family she’s ever known suits Avery just fine…until Logan announces he’s coming home for Christmas.

Ever since his mother abandoned him as a young boy, Whiskey River hasn't felt like home to Logan Calloway. Still, he heads home for the holidays, intending to reflect on his career and personal life. When he sees his assistant Avery in his home, Logan begins to realize that Whiskey River has more to offer than just bad memories.

As Logan and Avery spend more time together working for the charity, it becomes impossible to deny their chemistry and attraction.

My thoughts on the book:
Avery loves the job she does she gets to be part of helping the community that she has grown to love. The only thing she would love more is if she could feel like she belonged. Logan has been away from Whiskey River for a long time and coming home is not all that its cracked up to be it seems the town he grew up in can't seem to see past the one thing that has always over shadowed his childhood and his life. Can he show the town that his still a good guy or will they only see him for what his childhood once was? Can Avery get over the past and the hurt or will it just all over shadow the future she hopes to have?
I am really loving the town of Whiskey River, while it has its gossip, biddies and over all some really fun loving characters. I am not sure why but when ever I read one of these books out of Whiskey River it feels like I am catching up with friends instead of reading a fiction story. I really loved how vulnerable both Avery and Logan were but also how fun the book was. The book does have some adult language but over all was a super fun read and well worth it.

Description:
"Heartfelt and delightful!" -RaeAnne Thayne, New York Times bestselling author

Romance writer Julia Landon knows how to write a happily-ever-after. Creating one for herself is a whole different story. But after a surprising--and surprisingly passionate--kiss under the mistletoe at Harmony Harbor's holiday party last year, Julia thought she might have finally found her very own chance at true love. Aidan's only priority is to be the best single dad ever. And this year, he plans to make the holidays magical for his little girl, Ella Rose. But visions of stolen kisses under the mistletoe keep dancing in his head, and when he finds out Julia has written him into her latest novel, he can't help imagining the possibilities of a future together. Little does he know, though, Julia has been keeping a secret that threatens all their dreams. Luckily, 'tis the season for a little Christmas magic.

The Harmony Harbor series:
Mistletoe Cottage
Christmas with an Angel (short story)
Starlight Bridge
Primrose Lane
Sugarplum Way
Driftwood Cove
Sandpiper Shore

My thoughts on the book:

Julia is Christmas all wrapped up in one. She has a lot on her plate but keeping busy helps with the secrets she's keeping and her thoughts on the task at hand. But the question is how much longer can she keep these and protect those she cares so much about. Aidan is home and he needs to figure out what to do. He has to find out what Julia is really up to he knows there it more then meets the eye but it seems no one has anything bad to say about her. Can he get to the bottom of everything or will things come to light and change everything for everyone?

I really love reading this series I just can't seem to get enough. I love the closeness of the family and how not matter what life throws at them they come together and get through it. I really love GG and her crazy antics. I really loved how in this a lot more things came to light making a lot more sense for other things in other books. I really Enjoyed Julia and her strong family and there no none sense ways that seem extreme sometimes. They fit in with the Gallagher's and Harmony Harbor perfectly. The story was super sweet and puts you in the Christmas Spirit  it really is a fun read and I had a hard time putting the book down. This book is so worth the read. I really hope there is more to come with this town and these fun characters.

The Sheriff's Christmas Angels Debra Holt- Texas Lawmen Book 4

Description:

Angels. Emma Cramer doesn't consider herself an angel by any stretch of the imagination. Temporarily stranded, broke and unable to pursue her dreams of working in the big city following her mother’s death, Emma’s life changes when she rescues a small child and a puppy who get trapped in a garage where Emma’s truck has finally breathed its last . The girl’s relieved and grateful grandmother believes Emma has been sent by angels because her family needs temporary help. She offers Emma a job, a good salary and a place to stay until after the holidays. It seems like a Christmas miracle for both of them.

Angels often appear when least expected, but when the most needed. Cynical sheriff and rancher Cole Drayton has heard that all his life, but he’s never been in the market for much else. He can take care of his daughter, his ranch and his family on his own without his meddling mother, but his long protected heart and desire for isolation is no match for a beautiful stranded stranger and a misfit puppy who make his daughter laugh and him feel alive again.

Can unsuspecting hearts intersect at the moment when love and trust is needed most? Anything is possible with the magic of the Christmas season and faith in the Christmas angels.

My thoughts on the book:

Emma has been taking on the world since she was a little girl through the good and the bad. She’s done with college and is ready to be the person she dream she could always be, someone to make her mom proud of. When things take a turn she starts to wonder where all her plans might go. Cole trust no women well other then his daughter and mom, but well they don't count. He just wishes his mom would back off and let him raise his daughter he doesn't need anyone in his life. But it seems that might be changing and he needs to find a way to protect his heart and his family. Can he come out of this situation unscathed?
I have read all four books in this series and hands down I think this one is my favorite. I really loved Mae, Darcy and Charlie. I loved the big role Charlie played in the book and how her personality was strong even though she was small. I loved how the book just jumps out at you and you can truly picture yourself there in the small Texas town. I really enjoyed how the author kept it clean for all but one small part which really was so tasteful and played an important part in the book. I really enjoyed Emma and how she was super independent but still vulnerable. Really you could not go wrong with this book super fun read and gets you ready for the holidays.
