A New Family at Paddleduck Farm Della Galton

    Description:
Welcome back to Puddleduck Farm and a wonderfully warm, festive and uplifting listen from Della Galton

Are there enough hours in the day for everyone to find their happy place?

Phoebe Dashwood and Sam Hendrie welcome their beautiful baby daughter into their already busy lives. With motherhood now top of Phoebe’s to-do list alongside being a vet, and running an animal sanctuary there’s no time for daydreaming.

As Phoebe battles sleepless nights, extra challenges arise in the shape of abandoned African pygmy hedgehogs, stolen cats, and a worrying trend to keep wildlife as pets.

Meanwhile, Sam is selflessly left holding the baby and when a familiar face from the past returns old feelings are tested. With so many plates spinning Sam worries something may get broken – he just hopes it won’t be their relationship.

Can parenthood, a relationship, and a professional life be successfully juggled and is it really ever possible to have it all?

My Review:
This book is part of a series I have not read any of the other books in the series, and this is a new to me author. This story is about the daily struggles of a family just starting off and how life throws challenges into the mix. I feel like just so many relationships the lack of communication between Phoebe and Sam truly was the cusp of their problems. I Liked Phoebe and Sam's moms and grandma, they seem to run with doing so much for the baby and for them even more then Phoebe or Sam seem to know they wanted. I also felt in the beginning of the story even though they were in a relationship it seemed they were both on their own path and less as a couple. Overall it was ok read.

The Rancher's Heart Susan Lute

 Description:

Before he can do more than open a satellite law office, trouble in the form of a beautiful former client, who’s also his law partner’s sister follows him. New plan. Convince his best friend to pretend to be his fiancé.
“Have you lost your mind?” Sloane Michaels can’t believe the favor Jonas wants—especially now that she’s finally finished pining for him and has joined a dating app. So what if the first dates leave her bored and cold? She owns a booming car repair business and knows she can craft her own HEA and have the family she’s always craved. Jonas with his wicked, sexy smile, won’t talk his way around her this time.
Sloane, in her grease-stained overalls, doesn’t want to pretend to be someone else, but could he fall in love with the woman she is, or is she risking heartbreak once again?

My Review:
I will say that in the end the author drops a hint at something big so I really hope this book is not the last we see of these characters because I so want to know more. I felt like Sloane acted a little on the immature side she really liked Jonas but wouldn't step up and say anything and then got mad of him for not getting with the program. I did however feel when handed a a tough situation she handled with grace and love and really just showed who she is as a person so she did grow on me as a reader. Jonas was laid back and over all took the father role in his brothers lives only to realize that life is short and they need each as partners and this story showed just that. I really liked how while he was clueless to Sloane's feelings he was still her best friend and would stop everything he was doing to help her. Overall this book was really fun read and I so want to see what's next.

Playing for Keeps in Starr's Fall Kate Hewitt

     Description:

As the frozen earth gives way to the first spring crocuses, pushing their way into the warmer air, Maggie arrives in Starr’s Fall. She’s looking for a new start, with her lovable but painfully shy teenaged son in tow.

It feels like the odds are against her, but she’s determined to come out winning this time, and to fulfil her dream of opening up a board game café. But not everything’s a game, and when she finds herself attracted to a man who’s known as a different sort of player, she worries she’s setting herself up to lose.

Zach is funny, surprisingly geeky, and, most importantly, bonds with her son. But Zach is also drop-dead gorgeous, has a reputation around town, and is also ten years younger than her.

When he asks her out on a date, Maggie is totally thrown. She can’t deny she’s attracted to him. But is she ready to risk her heart with another roll of the dice?

A totally gorgeous, unmissable, small town romance, perfect for fans of the Gilmore Girls andVirgin River, from million-copy bestselling author, Kate Hewitt.

My Review:

This is a new author to me, and I enjoyed the story overall—it was a fun read. However, I did find that Maggie came across as more immature than her 40 years, acting in ways that didn't always match her age throughout much of the story. I really liked Zac, though. He didn’t put up with a lot from others, yet he had the biggest heart when it came to helping those in need—not just people he knew, but anyone who needed a helping hand, including a teenage boy looking for a friend. I loved the small-town feel of the story and the sense of community that Maggie and Ben joined. I also really liked Annie and hope her story gets told next; she has such a friendly, kind spirit about her. She had a gift for calling out things that didn’t seem right or didn’t feel right, seeing situations clearly and speaking up. The author kept this book a clean read, making it suitable for all readers.

Second Chance Season Emily March

 Description:
From a New York Times bestselling author, a heartwarming story about secrets, sisters, and the enduring power of family ties.

Zoey Hillcrest thought the hard part was over once she and her fiancé, Cooper, settled on a venue for their destination wedding. But as the date approaches, Zoey faces professional burnout, her estranged mother’s terminal illness, and a worrisome distance from her fiancé. When presented with a excuse to return to Colorado, she flees to the peaceful lakeside hotel to figure out what she truly wants in life.

After all the hard work Genevieve Prentice and her sister Helen McDaniel put into renovating their rustic waterfront lodge, the two finally have time to take a breath and celebrate the lives they’ve built in Lake in the Clouds, Colorado. Then a chance run-in with their latest bride turns their lives upside down.

Helen has never laid eyes on Zoey before, but something about her feels familiar. And when the three women uncover a devastating family secret, they must make peace with the past in order to fully embrace what the future has to offer.

My Review:
I was so excited to be able to grab this book and catch up with the sister and their family, and the author did not disappoint with this story. So for me I do not read the description of most books before I read them so I  did not know what to expect and I was so glad with this book. The author did amazing job and getting to all the feelings and keep you sucked in with this story. I could not put this book down. I truly felt I was catching up with friends and not reading a story. The characters were so relatable. Gage took crap from no one and had me chuckle because you never know what he was going to say or do next. Cooper and Adam both loved Zoey so fiercely and protectively only wanting what was best for her. I truly can keep going on all the things I loved about this book but I really don't want to ruin the fun for you when you read it. Overall this book did not disappoint and the author kept it a clean read.

Description:
A single mom takes a chance on a reformed bad boy in this small town romance, perfect for fans of Brenda Novak and Raeanne Thayne.

Caleb Stone isn’t ready to give up his Hollywood dreams. But after a disastrous run on a reality dating show paints him as an unapologetic player, Caleb needs a little time and space to regroup. Luckily, his hometown of Moose Falls, Alaska has both, plus a job helping his brothers run Yukon Cider. Even dialed down, Caleb’s flirtatious vibes are a hit at work, except for one woman who seems completely, totally, frustratingly immune to his charms–—the gorgeous new photographer for Yukon Cider’s upcoming ad campaign.

Single mom Sophia Brand isn’t made of ice—resisting Caleb’s devilishly sexy grin is hard, especially when it’s so often directed her way. It’s just that she’s been burned by handsome smiles before. Now, she’s focused on setting a good example for her daughter, and that means not getting sidetracked by Caleb’s dazzling charisma.

But as they work together on the campaign, Caleb and Sophia begin to let their guard down. Can he prove that beneath his playboy persona, Caleb is a leading man worthy of a starring role in Sophia’s heart?

My Review:
I really enjoyed this book along with this series. The brothers are all given this opportunity to take over the "family" business, but I feel like its so much more than that in this series. I feel like Hattie has set out to teach the boys about finding their true selfs. I feel like that was very much the case with this book with Caleb, he was in Hollywood and lost himself but was so set to go back. Sophia was a fun read the relationship she has with her dad and sister is so close and so fun, they truly are the definition of family. I think the one thing I can say is I felt like Caleb was so hung up on himself he forget on occasions those around him early in the book however you can see as he makes choices with Sophia he lets the walls down and starts really working on who he is. Overall this was fun read and I can wait for more from this family. Also the author has kept this book a clean read so suitable for all.

He agrees to join her in Grand and film the reunion she hopes will be a new beginning. One problem—Honey's foster daughter, Emmet Garcia.

JP Malone, the mysterious cowboy who disappeared, leaving her pregnant, Em and Colt must work together to help the woman they love finally face her painful past. In this season of miracles, when the lost are found and strangers become family, can Em and Colt overcome their own wounds and forge a future together?

My Review:
If you’ve ever experienced loss, this book will hit you right in the heart. Roxanne has crafted a powerful, emotional journey that explores grief, personal growth, and the unexpected twists life throws at us.
Colt—what a character! He’s the kind of person who’s been through a lot but still has so much heart. His selflessness and compassion shine through, making him a truly endearing character. I have to admit, the reveal of JP Malone’s identity completely shocked me! It was such a twist that I never saw coming, and it added an extra layer of depth to the story. The author kept me on my toes, and that’s part of what made this book so hard to put down.
Another thing worth mentioning is how the author managed to keep the story clean, focusing on the emotional and character-driven aspects without resorting to unnecessary drama or explicit content. It’s refreshing to find a book that tells such an impactful story while maintaining a wholesome approach. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The emotional highs and lows, the twists, and the strong character development made it a truly rewarding read. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a story that not only entertains but also tugs at your heartstrings. It’s absolutely worth the read.

The Cowboy's Claim Sinclair Jayne

And then a freak accident hospitalizes him, risking his mission to honor his friend.

She begs him to keep their secret, but when Calhoun reveals he’s in town to solve the long ago disappearance of her father and brother, keeping her distance, hands, and secrets to herself is beyond challenging.

Not to mention she might be…pregnant?

My Review:

I have read this whole series so I was excited to get my hands on this one for sure. I will say I was happy to see this one came with a bit of a suspense/mystery to it, it felt right. I like Calhoun he was a bit of a softy and not really a tough guy but with the situations in the book it just made sense. Jory was a tough nut, she was someone who had walls built so high it was going to take someone softer to break those walls down and let her see the love she deserved. They just complimented each other so much. I was also glad to catch up with the others from the series and see where they were in life. This book does contain sex content so may not be suitable for all. Overall I would say this was a fun book to read and the author did a good job keeping you guessing with what was really going on.

  Description:
One summer can change everything.

Brooklyn-based Hannah is a bestselling author struggling to write her second book after personal losses. Her older sister, Sara, still lives in Chatham, Cape Cod, where they grew up, and is married with four children. Once a dedicated librarian, Sara dreams of reviving her love affair with literature, but instead, she is stuck with too many family responsibilities and a fizzling marriage.

When Hannah gets the chance to retreat to her aunt's oceanfront house in Chatham for the summer, it seems like just the thing to get her creative juices flowing. And she’ll be able to spend more time with Sara, who is eager to find her way back into the workforce, to do something rewarding and book-related. The pair will spend the summer making friends, rekindling romance— especially Spencer, an old acquaintance from high school-turned very hot grump— and opening themselves up to the magic of books and the beach.

Perfect for fans of Mary Kay Andrews, Susan Mallery and Brenda Novak,
The Seaside Sisters will delight and charm you as easily as an ocean breeze.

My Review:
I really struggled to get into this story, The story itself was cute however there was 3 peoples stories you are following so right as you get into one another one starts so I find this difficult to keep up with at times. I did like Sara and Hannah and felt like their closeness is what all sister want/have. I loved Joy she was so fun and always wanting what was best for everyone involved. Overall I don't think this is the book for me.

The Cowboy Charm Sinclair Jayne

 Description:

Now honorably discharged, he’s looking to return to his cowboy roots to work as a rodeo stock contractor and travel the country he’s spent years protecting. But first, he has an obligation in Marietta, Montana to his fallen commanding officer. Surely completing a few hours of community service won’t be that challenging?

Physical therapist Edison Martin is short-staffed and underwhelmed when the tall, broad-shouldered cowboy with the ‘awe shucks’ smile swaggers into her clinic as her latest community-service volunteer. She needs trained help, not eye-candy. And Ryder reminds Edi of everything she’s lost and every man who’s done her wrong.

Bound by duty and compassionate by nature, Ryder dives into his temporary role with humor and enthusiasm. His motto: make a difference. But what will it take to get statuesque, super serious Edi to smile and remember that each day is a gift?

My Review:

I have really enjoyed this series so far and this book did not disappoint either. I love how the author takes two broken people very different walks of Life but the heartbreak is still so similar and then turns and make them a hero in the story. It goes to show we call all be the hero's in our own story. Ryder comes back from his time in the military and while he stilling he structure mindset he's also in a playful one ready to help anyway he can. I enjoyed reading his and Lydia's antics it was like those two were peas in a pod. I feel like the author did an amazing job not sugar coating the struggles of a love one with dementia, its a hard disease, for the family as well. Edison (cool name) was what some may say a stick in the mud at first but she was so use to everything having to be that way and having so much on her shoulders you could see as the story went how she started to relax and enjoy her life. Overall this was a fun read and I can't wait for more from these brothers. There is sexual content in the story so it may not be suitable for all.

A Merry Bramble Christmas CJ Carmichael

 Description:

Bramble House B & B is booked for the Christmas season, and new owner Amy Arden and her husband Chet Hardwick are excited to spend their first Yuletide season as a married couple. To spread the joy of the season, they have carefully selected their guests for the week before Christmas including two very special people.

Oliver Rivers is coming to Marietta to fulfill his mother’s deathbed wish…to locate the daughter his mother gave up when she was fifteen. When that doesn’t go as planned, he finds himself gravitating to another guest at Bramble House.

Everyone calls Gemma Granger the runaway bride, but they don’t know she was deceived by her fiancé and fled to Bramble House to nurse her broken heart. Instead, Gemma finds herself feeling an instant connection with Oliver and helping him bond with his long-lost family.

Oliver suspects Gemma is taking on him and other projects to avoid dealing with her heartbreak. But the truth is that with each passing day, Gemma is discovering that her real life and her real love might not be where she thought it was.

My Review:
I loved coming back to the Bramble house you just never know what characters you are going to encounter and this book did not disappoint in that. You had a runaway bride, Gemma but in this case she was running more or less to find who she was and ending a relationship that was headed no where was the cherry on top. She has the biggest heart and she just fit right in with the town of Marietta. Oliver was on a mission to connect with a sister he knew nothing about but was determined to have a relationship with her and her son since he had not other family. He too had a big heart and wanted what was best for his nephew and sister but also would did not want to hurt them. I loved the Caraways where a fun bunch but the secret that came out about them just drove home how life is precious and what a big heart Amy and Chet have for their visitors. Overall this was a fun read as well as a clean read making it suitable for all and well worth it.

The Getaway Emily March

Description:
Widowed young, Genevieve Prentice dedicated her life to raising her four children. Now, though, they’re all grown and scattered to the wind, and Genevieve is ready for a change. In a flash of inspiration, she puts her home on the market and heads to Lake in the Clouds, Colorado, to renovate a rustic waterfront lodge with her sister. But just as they begin, Genevieve gets the shock of a lifetime: the arrival of her son.

Jake Prentice built a career out of being dependable, one that left him perennially stressed and overworked. Finally heeding his mother’s words of wisdom, he’s quit his job and is ready to find out what truly makes him happy. And now, as he stands surrounded by open sky and fresh, pine-scented air, he’s got no regrets . . . until former colleague Tess Crenshaw appears at the lake, forcing him to reassess what—and who—he really wants.

As they work together to renovate the lodge, Genevieve and Jake embark on a heartfelt and inspiring journey to learn about themselves, each other, and the true meaning of family.

My Review:
Oh my gosh yall this book was just what I needed right now. It had the right amount of drama, love, family and who can I beat up right now( fictional of course) also the right amount of laughter. I loved Gen and Helen the sisters were thick as thieves and would make sure that Gen's four adult children did not get away with anything. I loved Helen and her no nonsense take on life you will not get anything past her that she won't call you out on if she sees fit. (we all need this in our lives lets be honest)
Tessa was a gem she really started with nothing in life and fought to have what she has today. She had her guard up, but in a way that still allowed the right people in even if she knew they might hurt her. Now as far as Willow, Brooke, Jack and Lucas those four had me rolling my eyes. If you have siblings you know there is the boss, the peacemaker, the stubborn one/trouble maker and or maybe the silent one and I feel like this sums up the siblings. I am not sure if there is more to come from this family but I will say I want to know more about what is going on with Willow there is a secret there and was the whole book that makes you wonder just what the author has in store for her. Overall this book does have few curse words and implies sex but overall I felt like the author kept it on the clean side and I wasn't even half way through it before I started recommending it so that should tell its worth the read.

Her Cowboy Christmas Hero Jeannie Watt

  Description:

She’s never had a true family Christmas….

As a child, Alex Woodson appeared to have it all, yet her life was an illusion. Now independent, Alex returns to the one place she was briefly happy—Marietta, Montana and starts an interior painting business. Her first client is the Keller Ranch. When Cade Keller unexpectedly arrives home, Alex promises herself she can ignore her former high school crush, who barely knew she existed. But the handsome cowboy is up in her business, flirting and tempting her with holiday activities she’s always dreamed of.

After leaving his job as an oil rig operator, Cade heads home to the family ranch for Christmas and to re-think his career. Seeing the former Woodson princess painting his family’s home is a distracting mystery he intends to solve. But the more time he spends with Alex, the more he’s intrigued.

Cade tells himself he’s just being neighborly by inviting Alex to join his family for their holiday traditions, but he’s lying. He’s falling hard—unfair with his uncertain future. Alex is wary, knowing life is never a fairytale.

My Review:
This story was a gradual build of two people starting over for two different reason while trying to find where they belong in life and who they really are. I liked how the author didn't make the relationship feel rushed or forced the characters also felt very relatable. Alex was a hard nut to crack but she also had the biggest heart. I loved her little shadow and the part she played in the story. Cade was the silent but hot cowboy who didn't put up with a lot even from his family, he stood for what was right but also takes the time to understand a situation before jumping the gun. I LOVED Henry man that guy had me laughing so hard I just really enjoyed reading about him. Overall I really enjoyed this book it was a fun read the author kept it clean so its suitable of most readers.

Merry Christmas, Montana Elsa Winckler

 Description:

She doesn’t believe in miracles, but maybe this holiday her son’s Christmas wish will change her mind.

Single mom Riley O’Sullivan isn’t one to complain, but with her closest family members now settled in Marietta, Montana, while she still calls Portland home, finding good help isn’t as easy as it used to be. With Christmas approaching, Riley and her young son Dylan are excited to be in Marietta with family for the holidays; but she certainly doesn’t need maddening Mitch Miller coming to her rescue, awakening her senses, or making Dylan ask questions about what dads do.

Mitch Miller left his successful financial career behind him when he moved to Marietta with his two sisters. He’s not looking for love, but Riley captivates him like no other woman ever has. She thinks he’s an overprotective grinch–with good cause–but it’s clear to everyone Riley and Dylan could use a little Christmas magic and he’s willing to help. It’s not as if he’s offering his heart.

Perhaps all it will take to bring them together is the Christmas wish from one special little boy.

My Review:
I liked Mitch, he was known in the other books as "The Yelling Brother" so I loved how he came off one way and in the book you start to really see who he is. He really values family and loves his sisters and would do anything for them and those he loves. Riley was all over the board for me but in the end I got why she was the way she was. She to has a big heart for anyone who comes into her life and will drop everything she's doing to be there for those she loves. I think hands down my favorite character is Janice she was always up to something and had no problem meddling and I loved her little sidekick Dylan those two were made for each other for sure. Overall this was a cute love story with lots of laughs and some tears but lots of family and fun as well. There is sex in this story so it may not be suitable for all.

The Texas Cowboy's Christmas Miracle Debra Holt

   Description:

All they need for Christmas is a second chance nudge…

Sixteen years ago, MacKenna Davidson was a runaway bride, and she never found the courage to face her jilted fiancé and family back in Burkitt, Texas. Then her sister’s nuptials set off the very chain of events she’s feared: a sense of homecoming she can’t untangle.

Matteo Montez survived MacKenna once, and he refuses to fall for her again. But he has no choice except to team up with her when a fellow attorney informs them that a mutual friend has passed and named Matteo and Mackenna as her children’s guardians. How can he crush these little angels’ hopes for a family, especially at Christmas?

Mackenna is willing to work with Burkitt’s hottest bachelor to build a picture-perfect holiday, as long as her heart doesn’t get involved. Because she, too, has secrets that prevent her from picking up her past. But Christmas is a season of surprises and even a miracle or two—especially when Mackenna and Matteo have a guardian angel rooting for their happiness.

My Review:
This book to me was about making life what you make of it and make family with who is around you not just because you share the same blood. I liked Mackenna she truly was someone who grabbed the bull by the horns and let nothing stop her to get what she wanted out of life. Matteo had his moments with me but I felt like he just was all over the place, one moment he was a strong character knowing what he wanted and then in the next he was all over Mackenna for not communicating but he himself struggled with saying what he wanted. Honestly I felt like the whole story was just that a lack of communication where gown adult relied on other to help them get there point across. I also felt in the beginning it was so formal between Mackenna and Matteo it was awkward and a little off putting. Overall the story was cute and the author kept it clean so it would be suitable for all readers. This story Is the final in the series and I liked how the author summarized everything in the end of this book it was nice to catch up with all the characters in the series.

A Cowboy Country Christmas Jennie Marts

 Description:

There's no better time than Christmas to open your heart

Holt Callahan used to love the holidays, but getting dumped on Christmas Eve would turn anyone into a Grinch. Now he hates Christmas and all the holly jolly shenanigans that go with it. When he moves back to his cousin's ranch in Creedence, Colorado, the last thing he expects is to come face to face with the one who got away and all of her holiday cheer.

Lainey McBride is all about Christmas. Now she's running her family's ranch festivities while her grandfather is in rehab, and no matter how many things don't go according to plan, she's determined to bring her holiday spirit. But the holidays have their own way of healing, and a Christmas in Creedence just might be the merry magic that brings these two broken hearts back together again.

My Review:
I will start off saying that I did not know this was part of a series so if you read this and not the others it won't be hard to find or follow what's going, however if the other books in the series are like this one you will want to read them because the group of characters are so fun to follow. Now on to my review. I did feel like the "situation" with Holt and Lainey went on a little to long and I wished it had played out a different way. I really liked Lainey she did have a big heart and truly was just this breath of fresh air wherever she went. She made sure to always include and care for anyone she crossed paths with. Holt was this grumpy gus but honestly I was laughing and rolling my eyes at his antics because it felt like it was more for show then that's who he wanted to be betrayed at. In the beginning the chemistry between these two was explosive and the author did not disappoint keeping it going. I loved all the sub characters in the book they added such a fun factor into the story, but my favorite where the animals I laughed so hard at the antics of them for sure. I think hands down the two characters that stole the "show" were Winnie and Esme I could not stop laughing when they made appearances and you truly never know what was going to be said or done next. Overall this was really cute story and I would say worth the read. I will say that there is sex in this story so it may not be suitable for all readers.

An Amish Cinderella Shelley Shepard Gray

 Description:
Now that her friends are all marrying or moving away, Heart Beachy has started feeling lonely. Worse, everyone keeps asking when she’s going to find a man of her own. Don’t they realize Heart has her hands full at home with her widowed dad, too many chores, and a menagerie of needy, small animals? Besides, she doesn’t understand the fuss about marriage. It’s enough to make her consider finally becoming a
pet-sitter, or moving to an
English community, where she won’t be an oddity . . .

Newcomer Clayton Glick is utterly charmed by Heart—and completely confounded. He can’t figure out why this beautiful woman is as awkward as a teenager whenever he’s around, which is often now that he’s an apprentice to her blacksmith father. So Clayton starts assisting with Heart’s never-ending tasks, even helping her corral her unruly pets. How else can he court an adorably flustered woman who doesn’t know the first thing about courtship? Because courting is exactly what he intends . . .

Heart doesn’t know why her pulse hammers every time she sees Clayton. She only knows yielding to such emotions will mean trouble. . . . But maybe with a little faith—and the trying on of a shoe—Clayton can convince her to join him on the road to happily ever after.

My Review:
I did enjoy this story it was sweet from the beginning to the end. I will say there were parts that dragged a little bit. I will say there is two "stories" going on at the same time, but they intertwine so its not hard to keep up at all. You have Mary and Levi and man I loved Mary she was so sweet and had the biggest heart and had to have one of the hardest jobs but God used her in families lives when they may be going through one of there toughest moments. Levi was a little rough and gruff but he had the biggest heart for those he loved and cared for, Heart being his biggest worry and his greatest accomplishment. Then you have the story with Heart and Clayton. Clayton faced some big things in his shortest time however that did not slow him down from trying to make the best life he could. Heart this girl hands down ran this story she truly was the heart of the story and she after loosing her mom she took on so much yet never complained she had the biggest heart for any living creature and was the sweet kind friend everyone needs in there life. I loved that this author kept this book clean and suitable for all this is worth the read for sure.

Description:

He’s here to train her horses, and then he’s moving on. She’s keeping her true identity a secret. But their spark complicates both of their plans.

Horse trainer Gunner Dawson has experienced profound loss and intends to avoid it. So he lives on the move without forming close bonds or putting down roots. When Charlotte hires him to work with her horses and help expand her ranch, he commits to staying for a few months. But he doesn’t count on getting caught up in Charlotte’s search for her biological father. Or on falling in love—with Riverbend Gap or with Charlotte. This time, he’s not sure if he’ll be able to move on—or if he even wants to.

The queen of heartwarming, small-town love stories returns to Riverbend Gap with a deeply satisfying tale of love’s healing power.

My Review:
This is one of those stories that is completely relatable, whether with the main characters or one of the sub characters but either way I felt like someone will connect with one or all. I loved Jeff what and amazing man, he didn't have a lot to say but when he spoke everyone listened because it was something you needed to hear. I felt with Charlotte and even a little bit with Emerson they had away of taking what life dealt and putting a positive spin on it. They Bothe faced so much and yet they worked hard to leave their town in a better place. I felt so much for Gunner he loved so deeply and lost so much that the way the story played out was not a surprise but so emotional. Overall I really enjoyed this book with some tough subject that were talked about the author did an amazing job of balancing laughter in there as well. The author did keep this a clean read so it would be suitable for all.
