My Review:

This is a new to me author. I love a good Christmas book so I was excited to grab this one. I love the genuine friendship between Greta and Brea they seemed more sisters than friends. I will say though I really struggled to get into this book. I like a book that draws you in and captures your attention pretty quickly.  I felt this book favors a very rich descriptive style then and less of a banter and dialogue between the characters, which made it difficult to really get into the story.  The author does a good job and noting each chapter with who it’s about so it is less confusing who you are reading about. Overall I have to say this book just was not for me. The author did keep it a clean read

My Review:

I really enjoy this series, its so fun catching up with Mrs. Vanderburg and her willing and helpful heart. She is always so blunt, loving and caring in the kindest way it makes me as the reader pause and sometimes am humbled by what its being shared with the characters. I like Myron a lot he seem broken in away that he need to have his eyes opened through someone else's journey to see the brokenness he was dealing with. I wish the author would had followed up more with someone who was a big part of the story in the beginning who was connected to Myron as I so want to know what was next for this person. Cathy was not one of my favorites, while in the end you find out why her guard is up so high part of me wishes the truth would have come out at least to the reader early on so that it would make a ton more sense what she acted they way she does. While in the end I like how everything played out it just felt like her situation just kept going more than it maybe needed to. I do hope the author tells Tahiti's story I feel like that is a story I won't be able to put down. Overall this was a cute story with some very thought subjects discussed. They author did keep it a clean read.

My Review:

I will say that in the end the author drops a hint at something big so I really hope this book is not the last we see of these characters because I so want to know more. I felt like Sloane acted a little on the immature side she really liked Jonas but wouldn't step up and say anything and then got mad of him for not getting with the program. I did however feel when handed a a tough situation she handled with grace and love and really just showed who she is as a person so she did grow on me as a reader. Jonas was laid back and over all took the father role in his brothers lives only to realize that life is short and they need each as partners and this story showed just that. I really liked how while he was clueless to Sloane's feelings he was still her best friend and would stop everything he was doing to help her. Overall this book was really fun read and I so want to see what's next.

My Review:

This is a new to me author. I will say I really liked the story over all it flowed really well and keeps you drawn in the whole time. I loved Owen he had this fun spirit about him. He face some tough situations in his life but he took life by the balls and ran with it head on. He was over all a fun character. Paige kind of drove me crazy. I think that back in forth of I like you, I don't like you, felt very high schoolish, instead of someone who was a grown woman. I loved the relationship between Paige and her brother they were so fun and the sibling rivalry. There is adult situations and strong language in the book so may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this was a fun read with some fun characters and worth the read.

My Review:

This is a new author to me, and I enjoyed the story overall—it was a fun read. However, I did find that Maggie came across as more immature than her 40 years, acting in ways that didn't always match her age throughout much of the story. I really liked Zac, though. He didn’t put up with a lot from others, yet he had the biggest heart when it came to helping those in need—not just people he knew, but anyone who needed a helping hand, including a teenage boy looking for a friend. I loved the small-town feel of the story and the sense of community that Maggie and Ben joined. I also really liked Annie and hope her story gets told next; she has such a friendly, kind spirit about her. She had a gift for calling out things that didn’t seem right or didn’t feel right, seeing situations clearly and speaking up. The author kept this book a clean read, making it suitable for all readers.

My Review:

Jo was a spit fire, there was not wondering where you stood with her, she thought it she said it. Because of her past she also had a huge wall up, What I liked that the author did with this situation she didn't make it so that whole book was about her walls breaking down or impossible to get through but how Jo can grow or grew. Alex was a fun character while he did keep some at arms length he also had no problem pushing Jo's buttons to get to know the real her. The author has a character go through something and I thought for sure the situations was going one way and that was not how it went and I really am glad with the twist it just super fit way better then where I thought it was going. I liked also that the author kept it clean so it would be suitable for all readers. I also really enjoyed both Alex family and Jo's but I think hands down my favorite character is Rich he was so fun and had me laughing. Overall this was a fun book and worth the read.

My Review:

I really like this author she has a way of getting to the heart and having you fall in love with some or all of the characters. It was very much the case with this book. I loved Merry Anna she had the biggest heart and she was so fierce and all about finding who she was while showing love to her new friends and neighbors. I loved Zan she was so cute and so wise beyond her years and had such a tenderhearted. I also loved Krissy and Tara everyone needs friends like them in their life. I went back and forth with Adam on moment I liked him and the the next I wanted to choke him. Y'all this book was just overall really good, it was just a really great read and I could not put it down. I received a complimentary copy of this book. My thoughts on the book:

This is a new author to me so I wasn't sure what to think at first, however the author did not disappoint. The first thing I did noticed is the book is told in a first person point of view. What I liked was that although told in a FPP the author told the story from both characters point of view so there was no way you are going to miss a thing. Hands down I loved Fin what an amazing little girl with lots of sass. I however did not like Brie and was glad the author made her story short. This book is very powerful, intense, and super emotional the author did an amazing job and getting to the heart of the matter and totally drawing you in leaving you wanting me. I loved how no matter what Morgan faced Jackson was going to have her back, he truly was a hero. This book does have curse words and sex so may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was amazing and I truly could not put this down, when you grab this book make sure you have a box of tissue close by. I received a complimentary copy of this book. My thoughts on the book:

Just like Becoming Us this book is about friendship and finding hope in the Lord and those friendships. I felt like this book got really to the heart of the matter with Jennalyn, with her missing her mom and the struggles she faces. This book was told in a first person point of view and I was not a fan of that. The author keeps this book clean so that is so nice allowing suitable for age appropriate readers. I think it goes back to this author has written about Christy for years and this series seems to be the adult version and the friendships she is forming along the way. I love these group of women and their friendships. Life is not perfect and life always hands you trials and the author doesn't try and make anything perfect or sugar coat anything. If you are looking for a fun read that's a breathe of fresh air and a little different then other books out there,  this is worth the read. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. My thoughts on the book:

Deanna Determination:

   In this story Deanna is raising her son and just trying to make life work after her husband passed. I found this story started off with a lot of detail some a little to much. As it went further on it did draw you in. Elmer, Abner and Deanna each had trials they faced some better the others, but it seem a little surfaced based instead of faith based over all. I would rate this story a 2 I just over all had a hard time getting into and staying in it. 

Rosemary’s Resolve

   As I started reading the further I got I found the characters to be a bit immature, when I went back and verified the ages, it all seem to make more sense that they were young. The actions and choices they were making were those that we all make when we are young and still learning. I was not a fan at all of Tom at all I found him a complete jerk throughout the book. Kevin’s mom was super kind and had a way of trying to keep the peace in the family, I thought for sure the author was going to have her reveal she use to be Amish (don’t worry I didn’t give anything away). This story seem to flow a little better the the first one, slow at some parts but over all a really cute story. 

Leila’s Longing 

   I really liked this story a lot. Out of the three this was one my favorite. I think on a way we can all relate some way or another with Leila and the insecurity that she felt. The trials she faced also where heart breaking but with Mollie reminding her gently that relying on God first and foremost was just as important as breathing. I felt like Aden faced his own struggles and they just felt well together. All three story are good clean reads and suitable for all ages

My thoughts on the book:

This author did not disappoint with this fun read. I mean when you take four women and put them in a kitchen what else are they going to do but bake up some fun things. I really like Myrna she was sassy and you know we all want to speak what’s on our minds, we just don’t. I think we may all need a little Myrna in our selves. I really liked Ezekiel’s truly was a man of God just seeking help for his small family. I also liked how the author had away of being out the children’s personality in such a way that they too were super fun to read about as well as the four friends in the cookie club. I liked that this is a good clean read and suitable for all ages. I also like that the author had a gentle way of reminding the reader of how the words that come out of our mouths are just as powerful and hurtful to others, with this author there always seems to be a lesson to learn in her books. My thoughts on the book:

I will admit I was leery of this book as I was not a fan of the first book in this series, but this book seems very different. The relationship between Bonnie and Theo just seems so natural. The chemistry is exploding off the pages. They seem to work and fit with each other without much effort given on either of there parts. Yet they seem to both be faced with a choice that takes a lot of time and effort to make them work. There were some times I really wanted to reach and choke Theo, but he was one of the characters you have a really hard time disliking. I loved Theo's sister Tabby oh my gosh she was so fun and I so want to read her story and what's she's up to. I can only imagine the guy who gets who what fun that will be. I also really liked how Bonnie handled the situations with her ex she just seem to handle it with grace, This book does have strong language and sex in it so it may not be suitable for all. This book is from a first person point of view, that being said I am usually not a fan with this book the author did a really good job and not making the reader feel like you are missing anything. This story is in no way a love story. In a world where women can come off caddy and not welcoming, the author captured five women in different walks of life and has them come together to bond and find a way of lifting each other up and being there for each other no matter what one is facing. I loved that about this book and how uplifting it was to me as a reader. The struggles that Emily and her family faced felt like really anyone could face and it was how they handled it that gave hope. I really liked how the author draws you in and makes you feel like you are catching up with friends and less about reading a book. This book is a good clean read but does deal with adult situations.

My thoughts on the book:

So, I really enjoy when I pick up a book and you start reading and you realize you have read other book in the series, and you can't wait to find out what the characters have been up too. This book is exactly that, it was almost like turning on your favorite tv show or coming home after being away. I really had a hard time putting this book down. I really enjoyed how strong and independent Charity was but she also had this struggle about asking for help when it comes to those who mean the world to her the most. I also really enjoyed Dev, he's not this perfect hero and he faces his own demons. I love the small town read on this as well. This book does have a sex scene but over all the book was a really fun read and I can't wait for more from this fun group of friends and to catch back up with them.  I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I love quick reads, they are the perfect way to end a rough day and I would say that this book did just that. With its lightheartedness and fun friendships in the story. Not just another love story but a story of "family" being there for each other even from a distance or right there in the same town. I loved how Logan has this big heart and the 8 friends all hold each other accountable but are there no matter what, all from different walks of lives. I loved how this book had a powerful message of self worth. I really loved that this book was a clean read and suitable for all. I really wanted to read more about these group of friends and can't wait to see what's next for them.

My thoughts on the book:

I have not read anything but this author before and I am so ready to go and read the other books in this series. I love the friendship these four women have, its close but its also "family". They are there no matter what happens, and I love how the author had these girls and there crazy antics throughout this book. I really enjoyed reading this quick read and how even though Elisa and Jay are already married they are faced with something that she feels could destroy their relationship and how its not always perfect. This book does have a lot of adult language and situations throughout so it that's not your thing be forewarned, otherwise this is perfect to cuddle up with a drink and fire and read. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. My thoughts on the book:
Josephine is sick and she calls Brooke for help. When Brooke gathers the people Jo has asked for things take a twist. Josephine has secrets and some she will take to her grave or so everyone thinks. When Brooke gets The High Tide Club members family in one area it may be more than any of them anticipated. Can everyone come together and find the answers they all seek?

When this book first started I had a hard time getting into it and when I realized how long it was I thought oh my this book will be the death of me. Then I thought this book was a Romance book boy was I fooled, (my fault didn't read the back) this book has so many twists and turns you don’t know what to expect next. However that quickly change, the story picked up and just started to come together. It draws you in, it has so really fun characters throughout and has you laughing when you least expect it, I did find the book dragging at some point then it would pick right back up leaving you wanting more or at least wondering what was happening next. I have so much respect and love for Varina her and Farrah were some of my favorites. But it was hard not to like a lot of the female characters. This book does have some cursing but overall is a really good book.

My thoughts on the book:
Holly is back home in La Colina after college and is hoping that people can just let go of the past and the rumors. She knows that nothing will stop her from looking over he best friends daughter now that she's gone nothing including Cash. Cash is set to do anything and everything to avoid Holly she is everything he doesn't want or so he thinks. But when a secret is reviled he wonders if maybe there is more to her or if he is making the best decision to avoid her. Can they come together as friends and figure this all out or are they better left on their tasks at hand?

I thought this was a sweet love story. I think that the biggest thing that Holly needs to work through in this book is was finding a way to forgive herself for some decisions she had made in the past. She is this super strong women who has a huge caring heart and she loved helping those who needed help, animals and humans alike. I really enjoyed the banter between Holly, Will, Carter and Cash. Cash was completely likable and this story has a twist I can honestly say I haven't read in a book in a long time. This book does have adult scene, and some language. I really enjoyed reading this fun story and it was so worth the read.

My thoughts on the book:

Piper just moved closer to her best friend is ready to see what life has for her. She has never had it easy and it ready to take the “bull” by its horns and take on this new adventure. Cameron is the Ceo of his families company and he doesn’t lack the amount of fun and women in his life. HIs own assistant wonders some day about his ability to keep up his way. Can he convince Piper that they could be friends and that they could have fun together or is he better at just staying with what he knows?
I really enjoyed this book it was a fun book. I loved how Piper was a no none sense take no prisoners type attitude but was also very vulnerable. I really enjoyed Cam and his sensitive ways but his I am not going to put up with anything either. I loved his relationship with his family. If you have read The Wedding Flight you will notice that the first few chapters go hand and hand with some of that book from Piper and Cameron’s point of view but after that it takes a whole new story line and who Piper and Cam are. This book does have adult language and scenes and may not be suitable for all ages. This book is a fun book over all it was super fun to catch up with the other characters from other books.
