His Forbidden Princess Jeannie Moon

What's the book about:
Eight years ago, university student Ian Stuart fell in love with his sweet, beautiful classmate and he’s never forgotten her. Sofie loved Ian with all her heart in return, but she didn’t trust him with one little detail about her life she’d neglected to share.
She was a princess, and they could never be together in the outside world.
Now Crown Princess Sofia is in danger. An insurgent faction in her country has targeted the royal family, and while Sofia is visiting the United States, she is forced to go into hiding. Assigned to protect her is none other than FBI Special Agent Ian Stuart.
Once again Ian and Sofie are in an impossible situation, fighting their feelings for one another, while trying to stay safe. Will their love for each other prove to be the most dangerous game of all?
My thoughts on the book:
When two hearts are meant to be together sometimes fate has other plans at least that is what Ian has been telling himself for the last 8 years. In the meantime he has been busting his but trying to forget the one person who made an impact on his heart and his life. Sofie, she is always being told how to do this or do that, she has never been able to make a decision without the approval of her parents, the only choose she has ever made was to love a man who she knew would not be able to love her back, or would he? This book from the get go is on the edge of your seat and you find your self so drawn into the story you can picture yourself there. The story is so well written and the chemistry of the characters is just popping of the page, this book out of the 4 princess books has to be my favorite.

Sweet Girl Rachel Hollis

What's the book about:
Max Jennings is in a bad mood. It’s not anything you did; it’s just that secrets from her past make it her natural state of being. But she’s not going to talk about it or share her feelings, so don’t bother asking.
Max’s bad mood means that very few people actually truly understand her or know that her secret dream is to be a pastry chef. When a rare opportunity to work for world-famous Avis Phillips presents itself, Max jumps at the chance. Avis and her staff aren’t stingy with the tough love, so Max spends every spare minute practicing her craft. As she bakes brownies and custards, cookies and galettes, she builds an unlikely friendship with a man she once loathed and finds herself falling into something she’s spent the last six years avoiding. Will she let her painful past stand in the way, or will she muster the strength to forgive herself and realize her full potential?
My thoughts on the book:
Max just finished college and she has no idea what she wants to do next when she runs into the most amazing bakery chefs and she is commissioned to help her run her world renown bakery. She also befriends one of the last people she ever thought she would ever become friends with. What she wants is to know if her life is ever going to be what it use to and if she will ever find love.
Ok so after reading this book I have decided this was not the book for me. I am not saying it was bad but the storyline seem to drag for about half the book and the last half of the book was really good and storyline picked up and kept you drawn in. The chemistry was there also about half through and it was sizzling in parts and just there in others(in a good way). I would give this book a 3 1/2 stars out of five.

Cinderella's Cowboy Roxanne Snopek

What's the book about:
Chad Anders doesn’t know why mousy Cynthia Henley trips all over her tongue when she’s around him. Nor does he understand his undeniable attraction to this good girl. Wild and sexy is his type, like the dream-girl he caught a glimpse of years earlier he’s never forgotten.
Cynthia’s superpower is invisibility, especially with men. It’s better for everyone that way. Besides, she’s got a cat. She’s okay. But when playboy-rancher Chad hires her, she’s got a chance to shine. Professionally, at least. Until she learns of his fascination with a mysterious dream-girl, who was actually nothing more than a shy teenager on an ill-advised dare all those years ago. Cynthia knows she’s no man’s dream-girl and never will be.
But there’s magic at the ball. Princesses glow in the starlight, princes appear out of nowhere, and, sometimes, they look a lot like cowboys…
My thoughts on the book:
Chad is back in town and ready to uncover some dreams and secrets and help a friend raise some money to help underprivileged kids, he knows one person that can make that happen Cynthia Henley. Cynthia has some secrets of  her own and is happy to keep them there and is ready to have a "business" relationship with Chad to help him get this party going, only problem is that she wants to keep is as a working relationship and her sisters have other plans.
This is such a cute and simple read, don't let the title fool you though this is not another modern day fairy tale. This book is packed with fun and with some fun and crazy characters. Its back into Marrietta Montana and you get to catch up with some fun people in other Montana Born books. You really can go wrong with this sweet and chemistry filled book.

Neighing with Fire Kathryn O'Sullivan (Colleen McCabe Series)

What's the book about:
Fire Chief Colleen McCabe is enjoying a quiet summer and her budding romance with Sheriff Bill Dorman. However, her peaceful start to the tourist season is shattered when a tropical storm blows through Corolla and unearths a body buried under a vacation home boardwalk. When callous land developer Denny Custis dies in a suspicious fire, Colleen has a hunch the two deaths are linked. As she and Bill investigate, they discover that virtually everyone, including Colleen, has had a beef or run-in with Denny and a motive for murder. When Pinky Salvatore becomes the primary suspect, Colleen is determined to clear his name. Despite his and Denny's well-documented housing development rivalry, Colleen is convinced that the real killer is still out there. While digging through an ever-widening list of suspects, Bill and Colleen become embroiled in a vicious battle between those committed to saving Corolla's wild horses, those protecting the endangered piping plover shore bird, and a greedy tour company who would destroy their habitats.
Neighing with Fire is the third entry in Kathryn O'Sullivan's cozy series known for its colorful characters, strong setting and thoroughly charming humor.

My thoughts on the book:
Scandal rocks the small town of Corolla and now its Colleen and Bills job to find out what in the heck is happening to there small and peaceful town. In the mean time they have a new "relationship" if you want to call it that, that they are working and discovering. Bill is trying to find out who killed Denny all the while keeping his jealousy intact. Colleen is just set out to figure out whats going on between her and Bill so she can put a name to it finally and all the while find out who is setting fires and killing people, all while putting her self in harms way or is she?
I have not read the other books in the series it didn't take long to follow the story though. I would not say there was a whole lot of romance in this book there was a little but what draws you into this book is the mystery, and trying to find out what happens next. This book took me less the a day to read as it was a real page turner and you find it hard to put down because you really want to know whats going to happen. I would say if you are looking for a good decent book with not a lot of "romance" but a well written story line then this is the book for you.

His Defiant Princess, Kathleen O'Brien, Royal Holiday Book 3

What's the book about:

Brenna Tinley has decided to move to the Unified Isles of Cornetta, a fairy-tale kingdom just south of France in the Bay of Biscay to escape the recent tragedies in her personal life. The happiest summer she can remember was spent there, in the arms of a handsome, tender rascal who disappeared without a goodbye when Autumn came…

As fate would have it, the Royal House of Vicenza has engaged Brenna Tinley to clear up a public relations mess. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for this small-town American girl, but there’s only one problem. Her new employer, HRH Prince Ronan, aka her mystery summer lover of long ago, seems determined to pick up where they left off. Can Brenna work in the royal palace and not end up with a brand new broken heart?

My thoughts on the book:
Brenna moved with her best friend to a place that has held a special place in her heart. They have built a reputation as the best PR group in Cornetta and they hate scandal even if Brenna has been part of scandal and would rather not have to ever face or deal with it again.
Ronnie AKA Ranon has found Brenna again and he wants her like his last breath but know the first time they met he may have kept a few secrets from her and he's not sure how she will react once she finds out, well unless she already knows most of them, but when scandal rattles his family and he needs a PR firms help he thinks he as the best one in mind but he's really not sure if Brenna will help him.
This book is a very short read , simple but fun pact with a lot of fun characters. The storyline is well written and it has you wanting to find out whats going to happen next. The story doesn't ever get boring or slow the author did an amazing job engaging the reader and leaving you wanting more to the las page. If you are looking for a fun read but something you can know out in a couple of hours then this book is for you and you won't regret it.

My thoughts on the book:
Glory is not happy and the last thing she wants is to draw more attention to herself, but once again she is forced into scandal and this time she didn't commit and she was so ready to move on from the past. She gets help from the one person she never thought would even look her way. Cal he has two things on his mind other then building his business his daughter is his main priority and keeping his sister in law away so he doesn't have to deal with her crazy matchmaking skills. The only thing is his brother asked him to help him and his best friend and he is so ready do be done doing favors for his brother and they seem to always lead to one person who spells TROUBLE with a capitol T.
Ms. Adair has done amazing job again with telling an amazing story and the chemistry on every page is a real pager tuner. The storyline is well written there is not a dull moment and its a book thats hard to put down. Some of the topics that are dealt with things that every teenager deals with but the way the author keeps you drawn in and has you turning each page is amazing. You really can not go wrong with this book. As he spends more time with her, sparks fly, and he realizes that he’s not the only one in Marietta with secrets…
My thoughts on the book:

Lisa loves helping make people's Fairy tales come true and that no exception to the three hollywood girls that come into her bridal shop. The other thing she loves most is helping the patients in the hospital. She just likes to keep hidden and things hidden.
Adam new to Marietta is enjoying keeping his secret and is glad that he can live in a quiet place and no one truly know who he is. Except he meets Lisa and he thinks she knows his secret but he still want to get to know her. Let Me Love You Again Anna DeStefano

What's the book about:
Selena Rosenthal left behind her high school sweetheart, who was the love of her life, seven years ago.
Now, she and the once-rebellious Oliver Bowman are back in Chandlerville—after his foster father’s heart attack and Selena’s contentious divorce—to deal with her secrets, the recklessness that caused their breakup, and the almost-strangers they’ve become to each other and their families.
As soon as his father is stronger, Oliver must return to the successful career that helps support a new generation of foster kids. But he’s falling for Selena again, her daughter has a hold on his heart, and he can’t imagine leaving behind his brothers and sisters once again.
More attached by the day to their charming hometown and families, Selena and Oliver fall in love for the second time.
Has fate brought Chandlerville’s prodigal children together again…this time forever?

My thoughts on the book:
Oliver had one thing on his mind work, work and work, when he gets a phone call from his brother that takes him back home and back to one place that he doesn't really want to be because he will be forced to face things he doesn't want to and never wants to. Selena has a beautiful little girl who is her everything and Selena is now back at her moms house and is already to move on again, the only thing keeping her there is her wonderful daughter and her soon to be ex husband. There is only one problem and she is about to come face to face with it and she is no more prepared then Oliver is.
I really loved this book so fun and a real page turner. The storyline is well written and amazing, its draws  you in and all you do is get loss in it and then your find your self completely done. The chemistry is amazing the people, you find yourself feeling like your catching up with friend not just reading a story.

What's the book about:

She’s still insanely attracted to Declan Enright, her high school and college crush. He’s now a wildly successful painter who’s temporarily back in Magnolia Bay, but Declan should be Shelby’s last choice for possible husband material. He didn’t earn the reputation of runaway groom for nothing…

Declan has worked hard to make his mark on the New York art scene and has succeeded at everything he’s ever done…except love. But Declan has come back to the Bay to change that and care for his dying father, even if he’s still never forgiven Declan for leaving the family business. While she can’t deny her attraction, Shelby’s convinced that Declan’s track record means he will break her heart. Or has Declan changed for good, and made love worth the risk?

My thoughts on the book:
Shelby is on the road to home when she runs into a Delcan who has a big part of her past, and she would like to keep it that way, or maybe she thinks that. Declan remembers Shelby as a sweet girl from his home town and now that they are old he is ready to grab at a chance to get to know Shelby like he's never known her before, or at least he thinks that.
This book is a short love story but pack with a lot of fun and adventure. The chemistry is amazing as you turn each page and find out whats going to happen next. The storyline is well written that it will hold your attention through the whole book and leave you wanting a little bit more of this couples journey.

When 84-year-old Anna McKenna returns to King's Meadow and to the Leonard ranch, she becomes an agent of change and healing for the two hurting families. With her help, Kimberly and Chet's families at last discover a love without end.
My thoughts on the book:

Kimberly is broken she on the run from her past (well kind of) she is ready to start a new life in Kings Meadow, well for now anyway and she wants to give her daughter the world she's use to.

Drawn to Life Elisabeth Wagner

What's the book about:

Mia Lang always thought she could brave any storm, until a frightening turn of fate caused her to lose everything she once held dear—her best friend, her boyfriend, her career, and even her desire to live.

Hoping to heal her scars and find the will to face the world again, Mia embarks on an adventure across Europe by train. But when she meets Samuel Winter—on the run from his own troubled past—her whole world is turned upside down again. Perhaps this time, though, the pieces will fall where they’re meant to. Armed with the sort of courage that only comes from having nothing to lose, Mia is about to find out, in this beautiful story of resilience and discovery.

My thoughts on the book:
Mia is on a journey to find life and find her self or at least thats what she keeps telling her self and her family and friends, only theres on problems and it keeps following her no matter where she goes.
Samuel(Sam) he's on a journey of his own his needs to find who he is but he's hiding secret and he himself need to find closure he just doesn't know how or when that will help.
Alright my first thoughts on the book were its very graphic and written more as a journal/diary then a story. However as you read the story the pages seem to draw you in and you really want to find out what happens. i am not a big fan of first person stories, however with this book I will say that it did not disappoint and it became a on the edge of your seat type of book. I can say there is not a whole lot of chemistry but as you read you understand why, but what there is does a good job of drawing you in to the story its self. Over all I was not really disappoint with the book or the storyline is worth the read.

Aubrey is longing for family and to keep what she has "left" in tact. She has one night she can not wait for the meeting with the one and only James Putnam, she  really would love to "see" him again and knows he will to, or will they?
James is on the another path and is ready to help build his families logging company, he has a one chance meeting to make everything go right with his life and with his family.
I really liked this book such a fun read, it was quick to the point. However there were a few twist and turns that has you turning each page to find out what happens. The chemistry from the first page to the last was HOT and coming off  the pages. This book is worth the read.

Ten years on, Dee’s life is uprooted when Jed turns up on her doorstep, asking for her help.
Dee has been left behind by everyone she’s loved: her parents, her close friend Alexia, and a stream of lovers. She moves fast with men and suspects this is why they move on fast. Now that’s Jed’s back in her life, she’s taking no chances. Despite the attraction ripping at her seams, she holds back, knowing she wouldn't recover from being loved and left by him a second time.
A constant traveler, Jed has only felt at home once in his life – with Dee. Now that he’s found her again, he's determined to make up for lost time. He'll never leave her again.
Until an unexpectedly royal revelation threatens to strip Jed of his freedom and future – including his place by Dee’s side

My thoughts on the book:
Dee at 16 fell madly in love with the boy she knew she had to have and no one else would do. Jed seemed like he was always on the run and he never knew quite why. He finally finds his Dad or at least he thinks so or a scam waiting to blow up in his face. He reaches out to Dee in hopes to get answers, but will she still find it in her heart to help him?
This book was such a fun and quick read and I would have to say Dee really carried the book. I loved her personality and her spunk, she was what most people with they could be and they are not. Jed was this really sweet guy as well there personality together just worked.

What's the book about:

She’s also trying to forget Greg Shaffer—the gorgeous emergency room doctor she met at a dance club last month. Her dad was an emergency room doctor and the stress of the job turned him into a raging alcoholic, which didn’t exactly create happy childhood memories.

Greg seems determined to prove to Ginger that practicality has nothing on passion. And as Ginger brings beauty into Greg's world, how can she possibly resist the beauty he brings to hers?

My thoughts on the book:
Ginger has always lived the safe way, doing what everyone else wanted and never quite comfortable stepping out of her "zone" she has created. When in walks the one person who can change that all.
Greg he has just lived life never fearing what will be given to him.
I really loved this book a lot. The book was a page turner and I found it hard to put down and was sad to see it end. The chemistry between the characters was amazing and there from page one. This story my be short but the storyline will not let you down and is worth the read.

The Wedding Audition Catherine Mann, Joanne Rock

What's the book about:

The tabloids call her the Hit and Run Bride after reality show star Annamae Jessup walked out on Atlanta’s favorite baseball player on cable television. Eager to escape her notoriety, Annamae takes a road trip to find the grandmother she’s never met and winds up discovering a whole lot more than a band of back woods relatives. There’s no escape from reality TV, even in Beulah, Alabama, population 3000.

The last thing Wynn Rafferty needs in his new life is a spoiled television princess who can’t even know his real name. He’s in temporary witness protection as an apple farmer after his undercover work put his life in danger. He needs to lay low until the heat dies down from his last case— even if he sucks at growing apples as badly as he sucks at relationships. But Annamae turns his new town into a media circus, unwittingly threatening the lives of him, her and most of Beulah. Wynn is an expert at keeping the world at arm’s length, but when it comes to Annamae, the only way he can keep her safe is to keep her very, very close.

My thoughts on the book:
Annamae has everything going for her or so she thinks then on the run she goes and not sure what to do she run to the one person she hopes will help her find herself.
Wynn, mighty Wynn, he is in hiding and has no use for some snobby rich girl who is out to find herself and brings trouble with her.
This book at first I would have to say I didn't like it way to predictable, I rated a 3 star for sure. Well then excitement and the edge of your seat kind change my very for sure. Its for sure a real page turner and the chemistry between the main character just sneaks up and grabs you and you just want to know what happens. The book is short but a fun read and so more then the 3 stars I gave it right off the bat.

The Wedding Cake Tree Melanie Hudson

What's the book about:
Can a mother's secret past provide the answers for a daughter's future? Celebrity photographer Grace Buchanan has always known that, one day, she'd swap her manic day job for the peace and quiet of her beloved childhood cottage, St Christopher's - she just didn't expect it to be so soon. At the reading of her mother's will, she's shocked to learn that she hardly knew Rosamund at all, and that inheriting St Christopher's hangs on one big - and very inconvenient - condition: Grace must drop everything for two weeks and travel the country with a mysterious stranger - war-weary Royal Marine, Alasdair Finn. Caught in a brief but perfect moment in time, Grace and Alasdair walk in Rosamund's footsteps and read her letters at each breathtaking new place. As Grace slowly uncovers the truth about her mother's incredible life story, Alasdair and Grace can't help but question their own futures. Will Rosamund's madcap scheme go to plan or will events take an unexpected turn? An emotional, fun-filled and adventurous journey of a lifetime.

My thoughts on the book:
While Grace is ready to receive her inheritance, she is face with going on a journey one she did not want to go on let alone with someone she didn't know. Alasdair is so caught up in his life an guilt that when he is asked to go on a journey he said yes and now he is wondering if that was the best choice.
I found the book quite predictable some times and I was ready to just roll my eyes and wanted to book done, but my view to that changed quickly. I really really liked this book. There where a few twisted an turns which kept you wanting to change the pages, so I have to say the book is a page turner and worth the read. I also have to say that the language is not to strong but I would say it would be better for either a older teenager. The author did a good job giving chemistry between the characters even though it was only from a one persons view. You really can not go wrong with this book its worth the read for sure.

Thanks to a philandering father, ad exec Emily Rodgers knows happily ever after doesn’t exist. Relying on a man only leads to heartache. She takes care of herself, and work defines her life. But Emily soon finds herself in the hands of a real-life prince who defines the words charming and sexy. Not to mention reckless. If Prince Lucas doesn’t find a royal bride, Emily’s dream of being named a partner at the advertising firm will die.

Luc’s fun-loving ways have made him a magnet for scandal. His father gives Luc an ultimatum—find a wife on a reality TV show or be disowned. Rules require him to marry nobility, but after he meets the uptight American sent to find him find a princess bride, his search for Cinderella might be over. Too bad Emily wants nothing to do with him. Perhaps he can show her that fairytale endings can happen in real life…

My thoughts on the book:
Playboy- check, fun-check heart of Gold- what in the world no way that is not something any one who knows Luc would describe him to have. Emily, is hardworking and is ready to be partners when she has one more task at hand or so she thinks.
I LOVED this book the storyline is amazing, its a real pager tuner, I had a hard time putting the book down. While the story is short the storyline is not its amazing and well written for sure. The chemistry with the characters was subtle but was jumping off the pages at every turn, to me that makes not only a great book but a great author to do something so hard but make it look so easy.

Homefront Jessica Scott

What's the book about:

A breathtaking new series from USA Today Bestselling author Jessica Scott

He’s always loved her...

First Sergeant Gale Sorren waited a war and half a lifetime for a chance to be stationed near the ex-wife who left him years ago. When he finally musters the courage to see her, the life he imagined she was living was nothing close to reality.

She’s never stopped loving him...

Melanie never stopped worrying about Gale each time he headed off to war. But he’s never been there when she needed him and she’s had fifteen years to steel her heart against him.

When Gale moves to Fort Hood, he finally has a chance to make things right with Melanie and the daughter she raised without him.

But Mel can't trust her heart to a man who has always let her down.

My thoughts on the book:

Jessica Scott has done it again and wrote an amazing book. This book will not disappoint at all. This book is for some one over the age of 18 in my option. 2nd chance and a chance at love are not what you always think of when you think of coming home from war and having to deal with some really tough things, at least thats what Gale Sorren believed. Melanie built a wall and she did not need anyone in her life but her daughter and even then she wonders if her daughter would be better off with out her and then she comes face to face with the past that she just was not ready to take on.
This book was AMAZING I had a hard time putting the book down. The book did have some really strong language and deals with some really tough issues. However the book was not so intense that you feel over whelmed by the thought of reading of these issues. I love how this author did an amazing job with the storyline and the chemistry through out. The will power in the book was amazing.

I was given a copy for my honest review.
