My thoughts on the book:

I did not read the first book in the series, while I feel like I missed something and plan on reading it next the author did catch a reader up to date in this book. I could not put the book down the author keeps you on the edge of your seat from page one, when you think you know who did it, the author those a twist and takes you down a whole other path. I loved Will he was a strong headed kid with a big heart. Jane has a broken spirit but when it comes to Will she will stop at nothing to protect him, even if that means setting aside her feelings for Reid. I did not like the end of the book because it leaves you hanging and I want to know what happens. Otherwise this book was amazing and is a clean read. Grab this book you will not regret it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."

Piecing It All Together Leslie Gould

Description:

When Savannah Mast's fiance dumps her a week before their wedding, she flees California for the safety of her Amish grandmother's farm near Nappanee, Indiana. She's not planning on staying long but becomes unexpectedly entangled in the search for a missing Amish girl. She can't leave--especially not when her childhood friend Tommy Miller is implicated as a suspect.

When Savannah accompanies her grandmother to Plain Patterns, a nearby quilt shop, the owner and local historian, Jane Berger, relates a tale about another woman's disappearance back in the 1800s that has curious echoes to today.

Inspired by the story, Savannah does all she can to find the Amish girl and clear Tommy's name. But when her former fiance shows up, begging her to return to California and marry him after all, she must choose between accepting the security of what he has to offer or continuing the complicated legacy of her family's faith.

My thoughts on the book:

What a powerful read, or should I say two stories. This book does have a story about Savannah and Jude and the a story about Emma and Judah, Emma's story is from the 1800's and it totally connected to Savannah so give it a chance. I will be honest I wasn't sure what to think at first but the read was totally worth it. I really liked Savannah and Emma they were both very strong women just looking to where they belonged. This story is about family, forgiveness, and finding where you belong. This was a book I could not put down and was such a refreshing story. This is a good clean read and so well worth it I can't wait to see what happens next in the small town of Nappanee. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."

Can Matt's help and friendship convince Caroline to trust again...and when Caroline's daughter goes missing, will Matt be able to find the girl before it's too late and he loses everything he loves...again?

My thoughts on the book:

When trouble seems to find them will they be able come together to get through it or will the just grow further apart?
I really loved this book it was just the sweetest love story. I really loved how Callie, Paul and Andie played just as big as a role as Caroline and Matt did. I really loved Callie's little personality and how she just had such a spitfire personality. I really enjoyed that this was a clean cut book. There was nothing I didn't like about this book. I was a short and very quick read. You really can not go wrong with this book its so worth the read.

Devoted Defender, Rachel Dylan (Danger in the Deep South #2)

Description:
Danger in the Deep South #2
Personal Chef Annie Thomas thought she’d finally found a safe haven from her past. But when her boss is shot in cold blood leaving her as the only witness, she’s forced to go on the run—again. And this time there is an even bigger target on her back.
Navy SEAL turned small town police chief Caleb Winters doesn’t like that danger has come to Maxwell, Georgia. But he vows to protect the innocent woman seeking refuge from an organized crime network that he knows will stop at nothing to tie up loose ends.
When hiding is no longer an option and threats surround them, will Caleb be the devoted defender Annie needs with her life on the line?

My thoughts on the book:

Annie just saw her boss killed and now she is on the run something she learned in the past is to trust no cops, and now she wondering who she can trust and if they will find her who ever they are.
Caleb enjoys being a cop in a small town but he is all to aware that just because his town is small there is not bad things happening but he is going to do his darnedest to keep it safe. But when Annie comes speeding into his life he know he needs to protect her weather she likes it or not. But will Annie learn to trust him and will he be able to protect her or will someone in their circle put everyone in jeopardy including Annie's life?
OH MY Goodness I loved this book hands down. Rachel doesn't disappoint at all. She has once again knocked it out of the park with this book. I Love reading her books it really is easy to get completely lost in her books, including this one. I think the only negative thing I would have to say is I wish her books were much longer. If you have never read anything by her check this series out especially if you like Christian authors like Dee Henderson, Dani Pettrey or even Terri Blackstock all these women are just amazing and I know that Rachel will not disappoint you either. Her books are on the small scale but you could totally know them out in one setting just needing to know whats going to happen next.

Tangled Lies, Connie Mann

What's the book about:

Orphaned as a child in Russia, boat captain Sasha Petrov has spent most of her life adrift, anchored by only her loving foster family. So when they beg her to return to the family marina in Safe Harbor, Florida, for Mama Rosa’s sixtieth birthday, Sasha complies, hoping to put the past behind her. But Mama Rosa has other plans: she wants her three foster daughters to find Tony, the biological son who disappeared twenty years earlier.
Sasha agrees to try, but that’s easier said than done when bad boy Jesse Claybourne shows up, reigniting an old attraction. Back in Safe Harbor on a quest of his own, Jesse gets tangled up in Sasha’s search, and soon the two are close to uncovering an old town secret that some will stop at nothing to protect.
When Sasha’s dog and Jesse are attacked, they realize the past is hiding something more sinister than they ever imagined. Can they expose the truth without destroying Sasha’s family and breaking each other’s hearts, or are they sailing against the wind?
My thoughts on the book:

Sasha doesn't stay put for long life is always easier that way, at least thats what she keeps telling herself. When she gets a call from her sister to come home she wonders if she should go when things go aray its time to go home and see if she can help out. When her mom asks her to help find her missing brother she starts and people are not happy about it and they are non to happy to help her out. When things start happening she wonders what more sinister things are going on. Jesse is home well where he has always felt like home and no one is happy to see him, well only Sasha, mama Rosa and Blaze but he has to stay and win this race he made a promise and he never breaks his promise. When things go wrong he wonders if someone from his past is after him or if someone is trying to stop him from entering the race. Will he and Sasha be able to get to the bottom of it before some one gets hurt or will it be to late?
I really enjoyed this book. It grabs you in the first chapter and keeps you interested in the story and whats going to happen next the whole book. Its completely captivating. I love how the book keeps you guessing from beginning to the end. There really was no slow part I thought for sure the book was going to end in a cliff hanger and it just got better. There really is nothing bad to say about this book. There is no cussing or not adult talk which make this book perfect for any reader. Seriously you can not go wrong with this book I can not wait to read more from Connie.

Incriminating Evidence Rachel Dylan

What's the book about:

FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE
When rookie prosecutor Jessica Hughes crosses the son of a major crime boss, she's determined to bring him to justice—if his family doesn't kill her first. And with newly minted FBI special agent Zach Taylor protecting her, she believes she can succeed. Zach will do anything to stay ahead of the crime syndicate and guard Jessica while she builds her case. The more time he spends with her, the more personal the assignment becomes. It's bad timing for falling in love, but as the threats against her life escalate, Zach realizes Jessica is everything to him—and he will do everything he can to make sure she has a future.

My thoughts on the book:

Jessica is a new attorney and due to unforeseen circumstances she is handed a case that most prosecuting attorneys would die to have in there hands. When things start to get crazy she is put under protection of the FBI and is forced to face some of her toughest memories. Zach is fresh out of Quanitco and is looking to prove himself. When he is brought in on a case and is suppose to protect the main attorney he wonders if he's up for the task and if he will be able to protect them both and do his job to the best of his ability. When they both are tract down and keep being tracked down the wonder it there is something more sinister going on. Will they be able to bring justice and get the bad guys put away and stay alive or will things go array and everything blow up in there face?
At first I thought this book was some what predictable but just like any good book it just got better and things changed real quick.  This book is completely captivating and will keep you guessing to the very end. I was completely surprised by the ending and thought it was going one way and it so did not happen that way. This book is a good clean romance and you really can not go wrong with it. I found it hard to put down and found it a really quick read. This book is so worth the read and so worth the purchase.

Hope Harbor, Irene Hannon

What's the book about:
Tracy Campbell never wanted to leave Hope Harbor, Oregon, or the idyllic three-generation cranberry farm where she grew up. But life–and love–altered her plans.

When tragedy strikes and changes her plans yet again, she finds herself back in her hometown with a floundering farm to run and a heartbreaking secret. Romance is not on her agenda. Nor is it on Michael Hunter’s. The visitor from Chicago has daunting secrets of his own. But when Tracy recruits him to help save a struggling charitable organization, the winds of change begin to sweep through Hope Harbor, bringing healing, hope, and love to countless lives–including their own.

My thoughts on the book:

Tracy Campbell is home in Hope Harbor she's hard at work on her family cranberry farm and working hard at saving it. She has experienced a lot of loss in her life and at this point her only focus is getting and keeping the farm in black and maybe she can let go of the guilt and regret she has lived with for the last two years. Michael has just come to Hope Harbor to visit and in hopes of finding answers he also needs to find forgiveness and hopes that the town of Hope Harbor will live up to its name and bring him Hope. When Tracy comes crashing into his life he knows it just one more he needs to correct but he needs to figure out how he can do that and still find the hope he is seeking.  Ann is a recluse and has been for some time and when she find Micheal on the street corner she knows she needs to help him and she's completely drawn to him for only one reason will she be able to keep her reclusive lifestyle and help him? Will all three find the forgiveness they are seeking or will it be to late?
I really enjoyed this book 100%. The book has three main characters and the author did an amazing job tying them all together in the storyline, it was easy to keep up with and was completely enjoyable book. Each character is dealing with forgiveness and weather forgiving themselves or forgiving someone else they struggle with the guilt. The characters were very relatable and I found it easy to fall in love with them and they felt more like catching up with a friend the reading a book about fictional characters. You really can not go wrong with this book so amazing.

Montana Skies Mary Alford

What's the book about:

Cara Stevens is finally coming back home to Cartwright, Montana. But will she find the place she longs from her childhood or a past without hope.
Since Cara left Cartwright a little more than a year earlier, not much has changed. Except her life is in shambles, her heart broken and the man she thought she had left behind is standing before her claiming to be a changed man.

My thoughts on the book:

Cara had taken off about finding out the truth about her marriage, or what she thought was the truth. She is not back and she has some deep dark secrets that she knows she needs to keep close to her heart. But will she be able to keep those close to her heart and try to become friends with her ex husband?  Jase has some demons he's fighting and when and accident wakes him up he knows its time for a change or he's going to kill himself. When his wife comes back into his life he hope they can amend these but he's wondering if he lost her forever. Will he be able to keep his own secrets and win Cara back or will the past just be to much for both and they can only be friends?
Such a sweet love story I really enjoyed it. I felt like from the beginning this was not your typical love story. In some stories one of the characters has issues and the heron steps in and fixes it, in this story the author did an amazing job of telling a story from the brokenness of two broken people who have to work together towards forgiveness and friendship. I enjoyed that everything seemed really and natural and didn't seem rushed. This really is just a sweet story and you can't go wrong with it. Its a quick read but well worth every bit of it.

What's the book about:

After a whirlwind romance, Taryn Young is preparing to board a plane at Houston International Airport, bound for a dream honeymoon, when a bomb decimates the terminal. Injured but still alive, she awakens to discover her husband is missing and they’re both considered prime suspects in the attack. Further, the FBI is convinced her husband isn’t who he appears to be.

Agent Grayson Hall’s number-one priority is to catch those responsible for the day’s act of terror. All evidence is pointing to Taryn and her new husband. But his instinct tells him her pleas of innocence are genuine. Is her naiveté just for show, or could she truly be another victim of a master scheme, possibly linked to the software she recently developed for her company?

With both their lives and reputations on the line, and the media outcry for justice increasing with each passing minute, Taryn and Grayson have no choice but to trust one another . . . and pray they can uncover the truth before they become two more casualties.

My thoughts on the book:

Taryn is so happy in love and so glad to be on the way out of town to her honeymoon and enjoy her time with her new husband. There is something a miss at work and she knows that even though its her honeymoon she is going to have to do a little bit of work. While at the airport things turn so quickly she finds herself waking up in a hospital and the FBI after her. She knows she needs to get out of there and find her husband so they can prove they are innocent but others have plans for her and she's not sure if she will survive but she will not go down without a fight.
Greyson has been running from his past and he now has started thinking more and more  about it, however when things blow up he now has to focus on the case in his hands. He realizes somethings a miss and there may be a leak and he is not sure who to trust but he knows he has to protect the witness but will they be able to survive or will the killers get them first.
I really enjoyed this book from the first page to the very end. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and has you turning the pages to find out what happens. You really can not go wrong with the book. The story line is well written and there is not a duel moment in the book.

Trial and Tribulations Rachel Rylan

What's the book about:
A Windy Ridge Legal Thriller #1

High-powered attorney Olivia Murray faces the biggest test of her career when she is assigned to represent Astral Tech, a New Age tech company, in a lawsuit filed by its biggest competitor. While Olivia is accustomed to hard fights in the courtroom, she arrives in Windy Ridge and discovers there is much more to this case than the legal claims—forces of darkness are at work.

Windy Ridge quickly turns from quiet Chicago suburb to spiritual battleground, and Olivia must rely on her faith to defend against legal and spiritual attacks. Although they are enemies in the courtroom, Olivia finds a friend and unlikely ally in opposing counsel, Grant Baxter. Once a skeptic about faith, he ultimately comes to her aid when she needs it most.

The battle between evil forces heats up in and out of the courtroom, pushing Olivia to the breaking point. Will she be able to help good triumph over evil, or will the town of Windy Ridge be torn apart?

My thoughts on the book:
The battle has just begun....
Olivia is called in to be an attorney for a New age company in a lawsuit brought agains another New age company over an app and theft. Immediately she know that this is not going to be just any normal battle or cases and wonders if she should risk her job and call the superiors and be on the next flight home or should she stay and fight a battle that is not hers alone to fight. She's in more then just a legal battle but a spiritual one and wonders if she is strong enough or if old memories will come back and be to much, will she stay and fight the battle through or will she finally have enough and walk away? Grant is fighting a lawsuit with a new age company he doesn't believe in anything and really could careless about the going ons with this case he just knows he need to get through this one to get to the next one. But when "strange" things start happening he starts to question if there really is another power out there and if the battle is worth the fight. Will be find God before its to late or will the battle be his to fight alone?

This book is completely powerful and very deep so be prepared. The author keeps everything in layman's terms thought out the whole book so thats nice everything from the spiritual battle being fought to the lawsuit being fought. The battle between evil and good is through out the talk of seeing and feeling angels and demons is talked about in depth in this book. I am a strong believer in spiritual warfare so this book was just another eye opener of how when we dabble in things that we shouldn't such as witch craft and such there is consequences. If you are looking for a deep book full of adventure this book just might interest you. Also this book ends in a way that the battle is not over and there is more to come.

Can Issie move beyond the pain of her past and entrust Matt with her family, and her heart?

My thoughts on the book:

"Issie" Isabelle Cassidy has lost her husband and has lost everything. She has no idea what she's going to do, all she has is her kids and a hope for a future. When she sees an ad for a the Peppercorn project she decides that the plan. Her son is not happy her daughter is ready for any adventure.   Matt has been living in Stoney Creek for 18 months he has his secrets and he also is fighting the drug war in Australia they all say its the city cop in him but he knows theres something up and he is not to keen to have all these people taking over his new city. When he has a run in with Issie and her kids he knows he needs to know everything about her and he wants her in his life. But when an accident happens he wonders if he will loose the chance to get to know her forever or if he will be able to make things right with her and show her and her kids how much they are valued in the community.

Nicki has done it again, this book is amazing. I had a hard time putting it down and before you know it its over and you just are left wanting to reading so much more of these fun characters. I loved how its about family and creating family. I loved how you feel like you are catching up with a friend instead of reading a book. I loved everything about this book, I loved how everything seemed natural between the characters instead of in some books where it seems forced or not very natural. It really makes you want to read it again just to catch up with everyone again. This book will not let you down and will have you wanting more. I hope in the feature to read a story both Leah and Rachael stories.

Medical Judgement, Richard L. Mabry, M.D.

What's the book about:

Someone is after Dr. Sarah Gordon. They’ve stalked her and set a fire at her home. Trying to recover from the traumatic deaths of her husband and infant daughter is tough enough, but she has no idea what will come next. Her late husband’s best friend and a recovering alcoholic detective are trying to solve the mystery before it’s too late, but both appear to be vying for her affection as well. Sarah finds herself in constant fear as the process plays out.
As the threats on her life continue to escalate, so do the questions: Who is doing this? Why are they after her? And with her only help being unreliable suitors in competition with each other, whom can she really trust?

My thoughts on the book:

Sarah has lost it all her husband and daughter and she feels like she has lost herself. When someone sets out to destroy her, she starts to wonder what God has in store for her and if she will survive it or will she have to keep fighting the unknown. She also is starting to wonder if she is sending off the wrong signal to men because she just doesn't feel like something is right and her husbands best friend Kyle seems to want to take things further then she's ready and now she wondering who can she trust now that someone is set to torcher her. Will she get to the bottom or will she end up hurt or maybe dead?
This book was amazing, its not a love story at all. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat and just when you think you have it figured out it throws something else at you. I really enjoyed this book its the first one I have read from this author and I must say I am not a fan of male authors there always seems to be some sort of disconnect in the stories I have read and this was not the case this story just was so amazing and well written I could not find one thing wrong with it that I didn't like. I liked how the author made the focus around Sarah but had other characters in the book who had struggles that added to her story. This book will keep you guessing all the way to the end even when you think you have it figured out be prepared for some twist and turns.

John and his wife, Fanny, inherit the farm and, despite a deathbed promise to take care of their stepmother and half-sisters, John and Fanny make it obvious that Mrs. Detweiler and her daughters are not welcomed at the farm. When Edwin Fischer, Fanny’s older brother, takes notice of Eleanor and begins to court her, much to the disapproval of his sister, Fanny makes life even more difficult for the Detweiler women.

In their new home, Eleanor wonders if Edwin will come calling while Mary Ann catches the attention of Christian Bechtler, an older bachelor in the church district, and John Willis, a younger man set to inherit a nearby farm. While Eleanor quietly pines for Edwin, Mary Ann does not hide her infatuation with John Willis. When the marriage proposal from John Willis does not materialize, Mary Ann is left grief-stricken and humiliated as the Amish community begins to gossip about their relationship. In the meantime, a broken-hearted Eleanor learns that Edwin is engaged to another woman.

Will admitting her affections for him result in the marriage proposal Eleanor has always desired?

My thoughts on the book:

Detweiler women were forced from there home after the unexpected loss of their father and husband. When they get settled Eleanor wonders if she will be able to remain close to Edwin or if the relationship and moving has taken its toll and its time for her to move on. Mary Ann meets a man who she believes is the love of her life but her family quickly see he may just be hiding something that could destroy Mary Ann all the while Christian sits back and knows he will have to bide his time so that he can show her what everyone else sees. But will it all be to late for the girls or will they both find love waiting on the other side of the loss?
I just loved this book. Usually I like to have the story told from both peoples point of view but Sarah did and amazing job nailing it with this book. I loved each of the characters from the nasty sister in law to the busy body neighbor and the sassy little sister who is just to happy to be grown up. The loss in the book just get you but you see Gods working hand in all of it. There was not one thing I did not like about this book. I found it extremely hard to put down the book is extremely captivating and draws you in to a point where you just need to know what happens. Such a page turner. You really can not go wrong with this book so worth the buy.

Return to Paradise Barbara Cameron

What's the book about:

Twelve months ago, David Stoltzfus left the Amish community in Paradise, Pennsylvania—and encouraged his siblings to follow—after their father became overly stern and even abusive with them. Escaping to a new life in the Englisch world was the only way to keep one another safe. But it was not without sacrifice. When David left his father’s house and community, he also left behind Lavina Zook, the woman he planned to wed.

Lavina hasn’t forgiven David for abandoning her, but when David’s father is diagnosed with cancer, she believes she might be the only one to lure him back to make peace . . . before it’s too late. Still, forgiveness isn’t easy. Even if she can get David to return, she’s not sure he will forgive his father. And she’s not sure she can forgive David, either.

My thoughts on the book:
Its been a year since Lavina was abandon by her fiancé no questions, no good bye he just left. With wedding season upon their community its another step in the healing process and letting go of the past and look to the future. When David's mom asks for her help to find David and his brothers to come home and help with their sick father but will she be able to set her feelings aside and help others or will she hit her breaking point?
David and his brothers left about a year ago after a fall out with their dad and they left with out looking back. They left their girlfriends and their mom, now his mom has reached out and asked him to come home to be there before since his dad is sick. Will he be able to put the past aside and help him parents and win back Lavina's heart or is it all to late?
I really really enjoyed this book. The book starts off at just the right speed and just gets better with each page. The storyline is well written, the story deals with some tough topics even being amish it shows that they are not perfect as so many believe. I like how the author kept the characters feeling real and getting to the heart of every matter. I loved Lavina's parents and how the author wrote about a taboo topic while even in the midst of it all you can really find some funny parts from different people in the book. I loved the spirit of giving in the story. This book is a real page turner and I found myself staying up late just to keep reading it. You really can not go wrong with this book.

Emergency Response Nicki Edwards

What's the book about:
Running away didn't solve anything ... at least, not the first time.

Intensive care nurse Mackenzie Jones is no stranger to running. As a teenager she fled her family home, leaving tragedy and loss in her wake. Now, after fifteen years alone in Sydney, with the strain of working in a city hospital wearing her thin, she's tempted to run again.

Mackenzie jumps at the chance to work in a mining town in the Western Australian desert – anything to lift her spirits. Though she barely dares to hope, she wonders if she might find the kind of love that can ease her loneliness.

In the outback, Nathan Kennedy is at a loose end. He's been making money in the mines for years, and pressure from his family to return to the east coast, settle down and get married is reaching fever pitch. The problem is, he hasn't met the right woman.

When Mackenzie turns up in town, there's an instant attraction between her and Nathan, maybe even true love. But tragedy's not done with Mackenzie Jones – the past is about to catch up with her in more ways than one.

Can Nathan convince Mackenzie to stop running, or is this just another tragedy in the making?

My thoughts on the book:

Mackenzie knows its time to take a look at her life and make some changes. As she is getting older she has decided that maybe love is not in the cards for her and she wonders if it ever was. She has distance her self from her family long ago, but longs for the family she lost and wonders if its to late to get them back. When she finds herself at a point in her life where she thinks she my finally have an answer to all the questions she's been asking herself lately, life and her past sneaks up on her and she finds the secrets that are hiding there may not be what she wants to find now. Nathan is sick of his family bugging him to settle down. He has not found the one and will not settle down till he does. When he gets news from his sister he wonders if going home and settling down is going to happen a lot sooner then he thought.
What I love about this book instead of the author giving you the impression these characters are flawless with little wrong in there life, she has given you imperfect characters with a imperfect love story for you to fall in love with.It truly feels like you are catching up with friends more then reading a book. You are completely drawn into the book and you find yourself turning the pages, getting drawn in and getting lost in them. This book is a good clean fun romance and for once a fresh of breath air, compared to other books that are out right now. I can't really say there is anything in this book I did not like even up to the very last page is has you drawn in and it seemed when there is no more to give or surprise you Ms. Edwards has managed to throw that out the window with a surprise, or a twist. If you are truly looking for a really fun book with imperfect but real characters this is the book for you. <br>Disclosure: I received this book free of charge from the publisher, but this review consists of my honest opinions, not influenced in any way by the author or publisher

The Stage Shelby Rebecca

What's the book about:
Mia, the saint.
Kolton, the sinner.
Kolton Royce is a tatted, bad boy rock star at the top of his game.
Mia Phoenix is an overly responsible nineteen-year-old striving for stardom since losing her parents in a house fire.
When Mia ends up on Kolton’s team for the debut of the new nationwide singing competition, The Stage, she’s not sure if it’s her or her voice that he’s hellbent to control.
After he takes special interest in her welfare, they’ve been warned, any contact between them outside of filming is strictly forbidden.
He has other ideas.
She’s a phoenix rising from the ashes, the only one who understands the pain that lies beneath the persona. Though he’s not sure if he’s too bad for her, he can’t stay away.
All sinners have a past. All saints have a future. But, does being born in fire make the fissures weak in all the wrong places, or stronger than they’ve ever known?

My thoughts on the book:
Mia has lost everything but her little sister and her dads guitar. When she is contacted to be on a new show call The Stage. She is not sure if up and taking this challenge will really be worth it because she doesn't want to up and ruin her sisters life after they have lost so much. She decides maybe this is the best for them and that it will take them to places they could never go other wise. Things are thrown and them and she starts to feel like her life is falling a part and she is wondering if Riley and her will come out on the other side stronger or it they will loose even more. Kolton has the life most people have dreamed of he is famous has beautiful girls but he has secrets. He is set to be a coach on the new up coming show called The Stage he has his ideas of what will happen and no one can stop him. He just never expected what happened and sure as heck never expected someone from the past to seek him and those close to him out. Will him and those close be able to get through everything in one piece.

This book in some parts has you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages just to find out what happens next. Its amazing very suspenseful but and amazing love story. The love the loss and the over all chemistry is coming off the pages. The book ends perfect but the first chapter into the 2nd book ends with a cliff hanger and leaves you wanting so much more. If you are looking for a book that just leaves you up late wanting to know what happens next and draws you in this book is worth the read and worth the buy. Cant wait for book two.

Montana Hero Debra Salonen

What's the book about:

During Flynn Bensen's last wildfire rescue, a woman died despite Flynn's best efforts to save her. He can’t escape his sense of failure or recurring nightmares, but he can escape to Marietta, Montana, to a new job as the head of Crawford County Search and Rescue. When he meets his scorching hot co-worker on his first day, Flynn feels like he might have just jumped from one wild fire to another that threatens to burn out of control despite his determination to keep a safe distance.
Outspoken, direct, and ambitious Kat Robinson isn’t thrilled to have a new boss—after all, if the timing had been different, she’d have been a shoe-in for Flynn’s job. But a single mom of a ten-year-old son knows where her priorities lay—with Brady, the light of her life. No way is she looking for a relationship and co-workers are always off limits. Too bad Flynn’s so darn hot, gorgeous, kind and authentic.
Will Flynn be the hero Kat needs to help her find the courage to fall in love again?

My thoughts on the book:
Kat has been in Montana a year she is "reconnecting" with a place her mom fell in love with before Kat was even boon. Her son is once again struggling and Kat is not sure is this is really the place for him and her to stay. She also has question as is this new boss of hers is fit to work with especially since her loss boss was such a "winner" to work with. She is starting to wonder if she made the right choice not taking the job as the boss. Flynn is a fire hot shot who has been dealing with a loss of a victim he can not seem to get the nightmares to stop. He knows things to need to change and he is ready for the change when he takes the job as a SAR commander in Montana. He is surprised to see that his new team is not so happy for the change and he's is ready to deal with some hard heads, head on. When both Flynn and Kat are forced together to help someone they start see that maybe things are as bad as it seems or they?
I had a blast reading this book, it was such a sweet love story. I love books that seem like the story could be taken from real life and not just a blown out story that seems so unrealistic, this book is just that a story that you feel your just catching up with friends. The chemistry in the book is there but its not what makes the book, the storyline is well written and has you drawn in and you find yourself having a hard time putting the book down. I can not wait for more from this author or more about the Montana Maverick group. You really can not go wrong with buying this book or the others in the series.

Driven to Date Susan Hatler

What's the book about:
Career-driven attorney, Jill Parnell, has worked long and hard to become a partner at Corbett, Gray, & Shaw. When the coveted position is given to the boss’s nephew, she does what any intelligent employee would do—attends a colleague’s wedding and schmoozes a high-powered partner at another law firm.

Her potential new boss has only one condition for her, that she demonstrate a personal life that will support a thriving career. Pretending to have a boyfriend is outside Jill’s comfort zone, but she invites the best man to act the part and Ryan is all-too eager to play her significant other. Sparks fly between them, but she reminds herself she’s only driven to date to get back on the partner track.

When Jill discovers Ryan is the lawyer who stole her promotion, her charade threatens to implode. But breaking off their pretend relationship could cost her the job of her dreams. And the more she gets to know Ryan, the more she’s tempted to tame the bad boy, and make him her own.
My thoughts on the book:
Jill had one thing in mind a partnership in a law firm before she's 33. Well all those dreams were crushed the the firm she is working for gives the job she was promised to someone else. She is set to get even but also get a job with another firm. Ryan is know as a playboy but he has one thing on his mind and its the last thing he ever thought would be. The book is a fun read it has a lot of fun and no sex in this book but a lot of chemistry that really pops off the pages and its really fun the back and forth of characters. The book is short and I was able to read it in one setting. you really can't go wrong with this book.

Up to Date Susan Hatler (Better Date than Never series, Book #8)

What's the book about:
Ginger knows that practical choices guarantee a stable life, which is why she chose a career as an office manager. Her job provides a steady paycheck, but it also has her snoozing at her desk. She wishes she'd pursued her passion for interior decorating rather than business.

She’s also trying to forget Greg Shaffer—the gorgeous emergency room doctor she met at a dance club last month. Her dad was an emergency room doctor and the stress of the job turned him into a raging alcoholic, which didn’t exactly create happy childhood memories.

Ginger believes donating her decorating services to her friend’s charity auction is the perfect fix for both her problems. She'll get a break from the daily grind, get her creative juices flowing, and stay so busy she'll finally forget about Greg.

But then Greg ends up buying the condo right above her. Even worse, he deliberately wins the bid on her auction item. Greg seems determined to prove to Ginger that practicality has nothing on passion. And as Ginger brings beauty into Greg's world, how can she possibly resist the beauty he brings to hers?

My thoughts on the book:
Ginger has always lived the safe way, doing what everyone else wanted and never quite comfortable stepping out of her "zone" she has created. When in walks the one person who can change that all.
Greg he has just lived life never fearing what will be given to him.
I really loved this book a lot. The book was a page turner and I found it hard to put down and was sad to see it end. The chemistry between the characters was amazing and there from page one. This story my be short but the storyline will not let you down and is worth the read.
