Serenity’s Song Cathryn Hein- (Outback Brides Return to Wirralong #3)

 Description:

He’s got a history of bad decisions—is he finally about to make the right one?

Jesse Hargreaves can’t outrun his notorious bad boy reputation. Betrayed by a woman he trusted, he retreats to his hometown, Wirralong, to serve as his brother’s best man and rebuild his life. But change isn’t easy, and it’s even harder when Jesse has to fight his fierce attraction to the maid of honour—a woman well aware of the darkness in his past.

Beautician Serenity Strachan’s flippant one-liners and vibrant hair colours are armour to protect her fragile heart. She’s always crushed on Jesse, but she’s determined to keep him and his sordid past at an arm’s length. That’s easier said than done when Jesse asks Serenity to help renovate an old property. And when they're trapped underground in a tunnel cave-in, their emotional barriers fall faster than the tunnel walls.

When rescue arrives, they question their new emotional intimacy. Can Serenity trust this new Jesse with her heart? And can Jesse trust that Serenity will ignore the lure of a fortune to keep his secrets safe?

My thoughts on the book:

This author is new to me so I did not read the first book in the series but I really like Elsa she was an amazing character with a huge heart and ready to help anyone not matter what. Jack was the strong and silent type but he also seem to have a huge heart of gold as well. Serenity was a spit fire and she seem to speak her mind she seemed very fierce for those she loved. I felt like she put up with way too much from Jessie. Jessie was not my favorite I found him a rich snotty I can do no wrong type. At first I felt bad and hoped things would get better with him. When the author through in a twist in the story I thought ok here is the changing point. Lets just say what I thought was going to happen it didn’t. In the end I still was a fan of Jack, Elsa and Serenity. The friendship between Elsa and Serenity was perfect and fun and so what many want from friends. This book does have adult situations and conversations. There is cursing in this book so this may not be suitable for all. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."

The Dating Itinerary Brooke Williams

 Description:

As if it wasn’t bad enough to be deemed the “most single person” at her magazine’s office, budding reporter Penny has now been tapped to write a series of features called “The Dating Itinerary.” From speed dating to Tinder, old-fashioned matchmakers to up-and-coming “dark dating,” Penny now has to go on a lot of dates. Silver lining: meeting new people should be fun, right? But running into her old rival, George, at her first dating event is decidedly not. Not only does the arrogant know-it-all have zero trouble attracting women, wherever Penny goes, somehow he just. Keeps. Showing. Up.

Geo knows he’s right on the cusp of writing success with the chance to have his own syndicated column. All he has to do is follow his agent’s ideas for showcasing different dating avenues, and he’ll pull in enough to help his sister’s non-profit women’s shelter get off the ground. Sure, his itinerary is starting to look strangely similar to his old rival Penny’s, but all’s fair in love and syndication, right?

The more they look for love in all the wrong places, though, the more they start to wonder if it was right in front of their noses all along. Still, the brutal dating scene just might end them, if these two don’t kill each other first.

My thoughts on the book:

This is a new to me author and this book was super fun read. If this book was a movie (which I could totally see) this would be a total romcom for sure.  This author definitely has a sense of humor I mean look at the names of the characters and you will totally see why I say that. I liked both main characters in the end, however I was not a fan of "Geo" I so wanted to punch him a couple of times thought out the book. Penny and her sisters were just so fun to read about and I hope if this is not a series the author turns it into one because I am so ready to read their stories too. I loved Geo's sister man with what she faced she too had a heart of gold and I want her to have a Happy ever after. :-) I will say that the author does have some of the characters face or had faced to very tough subjects but over all this book was very much a good clean read and so well worth the read. I could not put it down. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."

Make Mine a Cowboy A.J. Pine

 Description:

From this "fabulous storyteller" (Carolyn Brown, New York Times bestselling author) comes the next Meadow Valley western romance series.
Dr. Charlotte North has no time for a player, not even one as tempting as Ben Callahan. Besides, Charlotte is only in Meadow Valley for a few months to help her grandmother. After that, it's back to New York and the career she loves. But when her gran starts to meddle in her personal life, Charlotte knows just the man to help her out. Ben's the perfect no-strings boyfriend, until Charlotte discovers that beneath that rugged, charming exterior lies a sweet and bighearted cowboy.

Ben Callahan is tired of people assuming he's an immature playboy, so when the smart and sexy Charlotte asks him to be her pretend boyfriend, he jumps at the chance to show everyone that he's changed his ways. Though he and Charlotte are calling their relationship fake, Ben's heart says otherwise. Two months with Charlotte isn't nearly enough. Will Ben be able to prove he's worthy of her for real before their time together is up, or will she leave Meadow Valley -- and him -- forever?

Includes the bonus novel Hometown Cowboy by Sara Richardson!

My thoughts on the book:
Two weeks tourist with benefits I mean what could go wrong it’s not like they will ever see each other again right. This story was super cute that back and forth between Charlotte and Ben was fun to read about. Ben seems to have life some what figured out then starts to question it which make he feel relatable he just seems like no matter how messed up his life is his heart won’t let him not be there for those he loves. Charlotte was a perfectionist and has her fiver year planned out she annoyed me a little but but overall she was fun free loving person to read about too. I did enjoy catching up with Delaney and Sam and seeing what adventures they have been up too and I can’t wait to read Colts story (hope that’s coming soon). The author did mention some of his story in this book but it leaves you wanting more for sure. Maybe it’s me but it seems like Sam, Ben and Colt are more brothers then friends. There is adult situations and language in this book so it may not be suitable for all. Very fun read and so worth it. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

The Reality of Everything Rebecca Yarros

 Description:

Two years after the man she loved was killed in Afghanistan, Morgan Bartley is trying to put the pieces of her life back together. The reno on her dilapidated beach house in the Outer Banks might be just the distraction she needs to keep her debilitating anxiety attacks at bay and begin to heal her heart...if she can ignore the ridiculously handsome guy next door.

At twenty-eight, single-dad Jackson Montgomery’s life revolves around his five-year-old daughter and his job as a search-and-rescue pilot for the coast guard. He’s no stranger to saving a damsel in distress, and though his gorgeous new neighbor is clearly in distress, she’s no damsel. She’s stubborn as hell with walls a mile thick, and the dog tags hanging from her rearview mirror give him a pretty good clue as to why.

It doesn’t matter that their attraction is undeniable—she swore she’d never fall for another pilot, let alone a military man. There are some wounds time can’t heal, and some fears too consuming to conquer.

She’s a barely breathing heartbreak on the edge of recovery.
He’s a crash waiting to happen.
Together they could have it all...if they can endure the coming storm.

My thoughts on the book:

This is a new author to me so I wasn't sure what to think at first, however the author did not disappoint. The first thing I did noticed is the book is told in a first person point of view. What I liked was that although told in a FPP the author told the story from both characters point of view so there was no way you are going to miss a thing. Hands down I loved Fin what an amazing little girl with lots of sass. I however did not like Brie and was glad the author made her story short. This book is very powerful, intense, and super emotional the author did an amazing job and getting to the heart of the matter and totally drawing you in leaving you wanting me. I loved how no matter what Morgan faced Jackson was going to have her back, he truly was a hero. This book does have curse words and sex so may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was amazing and I truly could not put this down, when you grab this book make sure you have a box of tissue close by. I received a complimentary copy of this book. But after four creepos who ask if benefits come with the room and one woman who claims she’s a vampire, Mo is officially desperate. So what if the guy she agrees to on paper ends up being the Derrick Downer to her Sally Sunshine in person? She’s the queen of making lemonade.

August Porter expected his new roommate Mo to be like him—neat, practical, and oh yeah: male. Not the outrageous hippie with more stars in her eyes than there are in the sky. She’s infuriating, exasperating, his exact opposite in every possible way...and the bright ray of sunshine he didn’t even realize his gray world was missing. Suddenly, falling into bed with his roommate isn’t the worst idea he’s ever heard. Just falling in love with her is.

But one of them is keeping a secret that could turn their opposite attraction into utter disaster.

My thoughts on the book:

This book should have been named pineapple pizza and protein shakes!!! If you want to know why read the book you will quickly understand . At first I liked August but he quickly got on my nerves he came across whiny and I was so over him and felt that Mo could do better. Mo is hands down someone who was easy to love social butterfly comes to mind immediately and she’s just a bright spot in everyone’s life who she encounters. She was so fun to read about I swear I could see her as a friend if she wasn’t fictional, she totally made this book. This book does have curse words and adult situations so may not be suitable for all readers. Over all fun read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."

When he starts falling for her, the agent's death seems an impossible obstacle--but it's also the last thing he needs to think about. My thoughts on the book:

This book was so captivating I really enjoyed this book the author has a way of drawing you in from page one and keeping you there till the very end. I loved Kiley she jumped in with both feet and would stop at nothing or let nothing stop her from finding the truth. Evan he was more in your face, but but he also sought the truth and would stop at nothing to find it even f it meant he had to come face to face with the past that he was ready to let go of a long time ago I really enjoyed reading this book and this group of characters and I really can't wait to see where the author goes next. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Piecing It All Together Leslie Gould

Description:

When Savannah Mast's fiance dumps her a week before their wedding, she flees California for the safety of her Amish grandmother's farm near Nappanee, Indiana. She's not planning on staying long but becomes unexpectedly entangled in the search for a missing Amish girl. She can't leave--especially not when her childhood friend Tommy Miller is implicated as a suspect.

When Savannah accompanies her grandmother to Plain Patterns, a nearby quilt shop, the owner and local historian, Jane Berger, relates a tale about another woman's disappearance back in the 1800s that has curious echoes to today.

Inspired by the story, Savannah does all she can to find the Amish girl and clear Tommy's name. But when her former fiance shows up, begging her to return to California and marry him after all, she must choose between accepting the security of what he has to offer or continuing the complicated legacy of her family's faith.

My thoughts on the book:

What a powerful read, or should I say two stories. This book does have a story about Savannah and Jude and the a story about Emma and Judah, Emma's story is from the 1800's and it totally connected to Savannah so give it a chance. I will be honest I wasn't sure what to think at first but the read was totally worth it. I really liked Savannah and Emma they were both very strong women just looking to where they belonged. This story is about family, forgiveness, and finding where you belong. This was a book I could not put down and was such a refreshing story. This is a good clean read and so well worth it I can't wait to see what happens next in the small town of Nappanee. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."

USA TODAY Bestselling Author

My thoughts on the book:
Y'all the Blackwell's are back, and they have sisters!!! I am so excited about this series and this is book one and the author did not disappoint at all. I am really liked Lily she struggles with a slight disability but she did not let it stop her and she seems like she was only able to take so much from the men in her life. She seemed like the hero to me in the story. I liked Connor as well but in some moments I did find him whinny, but he has a big heart and will do anything for those he loves and cares about. Now Danny I wanted to punch him not a fan of him at all. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for more from these sisters and Rudy and Big E, I have no clue what those two are up to but it can only get more interesting. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."
