Texas Reckless Cowboy Rebecca Crowley

Description:

He’s the bad boy she needs to help her lay down the law…

Assistant District Attorney Georgia Star is on the ballot in Last Stand, Texas to finally take the top job—but popularity has never been this overachiever’s forte. When her big-city outsider opponent begins wooing her constituents with lies, Georgia knows she has to stop playing nice. She turns to the infamous Cy Powell for advice, but his provocative solution might be worse than a defeat.

Cyrus “Cy” Powell is a property mogul, rancher, and entrepreneur—and a scion of Last Stand’s most notorious criminal family. Despite his legit success he’s never outrun his last name, so when Georgia asks for his help, Cy decides a fake relationship is the perfect pretext to infiltrate her world.

Dating Cy will connect Georgia with her voter base, and squiring Georgia through her influential social circles will polish Cy’s reputation and facilitate his latest business deal. Their chemistry is undeniable, but as the election looms, they’ll need to decide if their fake alliance is real and where their loyalties lie.

My Review:
You take two people from opposite sides of the "track" throw them together and you get this fun read. I liked Georgia and her sisters, Georgia seemed like one of those people who if pushed into a corner it was only then she would come out fighting with all her might. Her and her sisters were everything to each other and there was not stopping them from helping each other out or calling each other out. Cy while some times he whined about his upbringing he wasn't annoying about it, it truly shaped the adult he was. He wanted what was best for his brother and nothing was going to stop him from doing that including the law. I loved that Cy gave push back to everyone it showed he was a fighter and would do what's it s right. Overall this book was a fun read the characters were always up to something and the author throw a twist in to keep things lively and keep you guessing. There is sexual content in the story so it may no be suitable for all but it was worth the read.

PINE CREEK COURTSHIP Amity Hope

 Description:
Love may be right around the corner in the heartwarming, sweet, and gentle Pine Creek series from Amity Hope.

After the death of her beloved father, Emma Ziegler just wants to keep her family’s maple syrup farm afloat and raise her two young siblings. But when her meddling aunt’s first choice of a husband for her turns out to be Emma’s last choice—Pine Creek’s most notorious bachelor—Emma grows desperate. Her aunt won’t listen, no matter how much she tries to tell her the man in no way embodies the Amish values of faith or hard work.

Kind and industrious Levi Bontrager has always wanted to protect his best friend Emma, even after a secret from their youth left them growing apart. Which is why he steps in to claim that Emma cannot wed anyone else, as she is currently courting him. Yes, the small lie leaves him feeling guilty, but Levi’s hope is that if he can win back the beautiful Emma’s trust, he can also win over her heart...for real.

But can a courtship that began just for show ever blossom into a true romance that could save both their futures?

My Review:
This was a cute love story. I did however find that sometimes the story dragged a little. The book is predictable but the story overall was fun to read. I feel like when you read an Amish story be prepared to have lots of food talked about, this story is very much the same. It will either leave you hungry or your mouth watering. I loved Sadie and Ezekiel; they just seemed to have a goodness about them among all the loss in their lives. I loved Amelia and I hope that one day there is a follow up story for her. She just seems like a kindred spirit. I liked how the author did keep this a clean read and I find it suitable for all. I would say overall this book is worth the read! I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

 Description:

The girl next door is now the woman he’s falling for.

As her ten year high school reunion approaches, Becca Thompson feels the pinch of not accomplishing enough since graduation. Romance has been an even bigger bust. Longing for more, she decides to organize a fall harvest festival and community fundraiser on her family’s orchard. But Becca gets more than she bargained for when she asks her childhood friend to help. Suddenly her bestie is making her knees weak and her heart flutter.

Jason Fox is dedicated to his veterinarian practice and raising funds to make his dream animal shelter a reality. When he’s sidelined by an injury, he takes a break and returns home to Cupid’s Corner. But from the moment he sees Becca, everything's different. She’s no longer the young girl he picked apples and pumpkins with—she’s a self-reliant, beautiful woman.

Jason helps Becca with the festival, but the more time they spend together the harder it is to ignore the sparks. Can leaving the friend zone end in love or will it ruin everything?

My thoughts on the book:

I loved these characters and the fact that the author included dogs as a big part of the story was just the cherry on top. While the story was somewhat predictable it was also very refreshing. I loved Mr and Mrs. Valentine what a sweet couple they were hard not to love. I did not read the other books in the series so I can't tell you if there was any follow up on other characters. I like Stacy she jumped on the pages and seem to be a great sister and didn't take much from Jason she didn't give back. I liked that the author kept this book a clean read so that it would be suitable for all. Overall this book was a quick read and I really enjoyed it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Reality of Everything Rebecca Yarros

 Description:

Two years after the man she loved was killed in Afghanistan, Morgan Bartley is trying to put the pieces of her life back together. The reno on her dilapidated beach house in the Outer Banks might be just the distraction she needs to keep her debilitating anxiety attacks at bay and begin to heal her heart...if she can ignore the ridiculously handsome guy next door.

At twenty-eight, single-dad Jackson Montgomery’s life revolves around his five-year-old daughter and his job as a search-and-rescue pilot for the coast guard. He’s no stranger to saving a damsel in distress, and though his gorgeous new neighbor is clearly in distress, she’s no damsel. She’s stubborn as hell with walls a mile thick, and the dog tags hanging from her rearview mirror give him a pretty good clue as to why.

It doesn’t matter that their attraction is undeniable—she swore she’d never fall for another pilot, let alone a military man. There are some wounds time can’t heal, and some fears too consuming to conquer.

She’s a barely breathing heartbreak on the edge of recovery.
He’s a crash waiting to happen.
Together they could have it all...if they can endure the coming storm.

My thoughts on the book:

This is a new author to me so I wasn't sure what to think at first, however the author did not disappoint. The first thing I did noticed is the book is told in a first person point of view. What I liked was that although told in a FPP the author told the story from both characters point of view so there was no way you are going to miss a thing. Hands down I loved Fin what an amazing little girl with lots of sass. I however did not like Brie and was glad the author made her story short. This book is very powerful, intense, and super emotional the author did an amazing job and getting to the heart of the matter and totally drawing you in leaving you wanting me. I loved how no matter what Morgan faced Jackson was going to have her back, he truly was a hero. This book does have curse words and sex so may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was amazing and I truly could not put this down, when you grab this book make sure you have a box of tissue close by. I received a complimentary copy of this book.  The Prayer Jars Series,
Book 1 -- The Hope Jar (August 2018)
Book 3 -- The Healing Jar (August 2019)

My thoughts on the book:

I really enjoyed this follow up story and to see what was going on with Michelle and Ezekiel. I was not a huge fan of Sarah she seemed very immature for most of the story. Both girls face different trials and both are strong and broken souls looking for healing. I really like how Michelle was finding herself even more in this book. I really Brad came off a little judgey as well. In the end of the book I really enjoyed the over all story and the amount of forgiveness that the girls had to work through and how each one worked through what they faced through different ways and how God was a big part of that. I loved the idea of a prayer jar, it's a wonderful idea. This book is a good clean read as well as the characters seem very relatable.

Includes the bonus story "A Wedding on Lavender Hill" by Annie Rains!
When an event planner is asked to create the perfect wedding in just three days, she must turn to the last person she wants to ask for help - the infuriating owner of the house on the hilltop.

My thoughts on the book:

Every time I get my hands on Hope Ramsay's books they never disappoint. I always love the small town feel of her books and the fun places she take you. In this book you're in the south and the characters are on an adventure to find something in themself in hopes for a better future. I loved Jackie, he did appear much in the book but he played a huge part. I really enjoyed following the journey of Jenna she has this huge heart and I just loved her selflessness yet she had this fight in her that nothing would stop her. I found Jude annoying a little bit however it fit in the end. This book really was a fun read and you really can't go wrong I am hoping to read more about Ashley's story. Grab this book you won't regret it. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Christmas at the Graff Kaylie Newell

Description:

When Jemma Banks’ father breaks his pelvis, she only comes to Marietta to take care of him because it’s close to Christmas and he has nobody else. He abandoned her as a teenager and even though he’s desperate to make amends, she’s determined to leave with the frosty walls around her heart firmly intact.

Local physical therapist EJ Corpa is good at three things: sex, snowboarding, and healing. When he lays eyes on his patient’s daughter for the first time, he knows he wants to show her all three. Jemma is beautiful, stoic and guarded. But deep down, he sees a woman who’s longing for a little fun. When she agrees to help with his clinic’s tree for the Mistletoe and Marietta auction, the armor she’s so carefully constructed begins to fall away, and the magic of the holiday season takes hold.

As EJ and Jemma fall for each other, she will finally consider peace and forgiveness. And EJ will begin to see that life’s adventures are more thrilling when there’s someone to share them with.

My thoughts on the book:

Jemma is in Marietta to help take care of her dad who she has not seen since she was a young child and he left. She hopes that she can keep her heart intact and help her dad and get back home to her sister. EJ didn't have the best childhood however he picked the best thing up, which is helping people heal. When he is set to help Joe his best friend with Physical therapy it seems he gets a lot more then he expected.  Can they both find healing in the most unlikely of places

This book will definitely put you in the Christmas spirit.  Bob is hands down my favorite in the book I agree with EJ he is everyone who loves Christmas "spirit animal". I feel like the characters were fun and easy to follow. I really enjoyed how EJ was a "free" by fun and independent spirit yet was really willing to help those who needed it the most. I love the town of Marietta it seems that no matter what time of the year you are reading a book Marietta seems Magical. Two broken people with a past history of people letting them down and hoping to find healing one. This book will not disappoint. This book does have strong and adult language.

Before You (Choc Lit), Kathryn Freeman

What's the book about:

When life in the fast lane threatens to implode …
Melanie Hunt’s job working for the Delta racing team means she is constantly rubbing shoulders with Formula One superstars in glamorous locations like Monte Carlo. But she has already learned that keeping a professional distance is crucial if she doesn’t want to get hurt.

New Delta team driver Aiden Foster lives his life like he drives his cars – fast and hard. But, no matter how successful he is, it seems he always falls short of his championship-winning father’s legacy. If he could just stay focused, he could finally make that win.

Resolve begins to slip as Melanie and Aiden find themselves drawn to each other –with nowhere to hide as racing season begins. But when a troubled young boy goes missing, everything is thrown into turmoil, including Aiden’s championship dream.

My thoughts on the book:

Melanie has been through a a lot and she is finally getting over a relationship that cut her deep. She is not dating and its not on her radar and she is ready to take her job as a publicists for the best racing team to the max and show the newest racer life can be great with them. Aiden is following in his dad's footsteps or at least thats what everyone keeps asking him. To Aiden he is doing what he loves and enjoying life. When life hands him a bunch of distractions he wonders if he could balance it all and win a championship and find the girl of his dreams or will he loose it all?
This book was all about racing and the lifestyle that seems to follow it. The book was a fun read and keeps you drawn in wanting to know whats going to happen and the craziness thats just around the corner. I loved the chemistry in the book between Mel and Aiden and the love from Frank and Nancy to Melanie. I really enjoyed the bond between Aiden and Tom, the relationships built in this book was and seemed very genuine and it was very enjoyable it truly felt like it was all playing out in front of you and not in a book. This book is so worth the read. The book does contain some adult language so it may not appeal to all readers.

The Hunter Bride, Cynthia Woolf

What's the book about:
Five years ago, a band of outlaws murdered Josephine Shafter's parents and younger brother. Desperate for vengeance, Jo has spent every day since serving the law as a bounty hunter. But the trouble with justice served is that now that her family's killer has been brought in, she has nothing to do and no one to hunt. She decides it may be time for a new life and a fresh start. She longs for the arms of a strong man around her, and for a child of her own. But the Chicago dandies don't know how to kiss a woman who is tougher than they are. Jo decides her best chance at happiness is to head out West, to the wild Montana territory, to start a new life as a mail order bride.

Sam Longworth has been the Sheriff of Hope's Crossing, Montana for two miserable years. He was much happier roaming the untamed plains as a bounty hunter, bringing outlaws to justice. But that was no life for a husband or father, and his wife wanted him home, safe and sound, every night. Forced into marriage, theirs had never been a love match, but he thought warming her bed every night would be enough. Instead she left him and took a stagecoach to rendezvous with her childhood sweetheart. She vowed never to return, and died on the journey.

Plagued by guilt over her death, Sam doesn't need a woman's love, he just needs a wife. He orders a mail order bride, a woman who won't make too many demands, who can build a home and give him children. Josephine fits his life perfectly, until danger follows her to her new home and he realizes she's keeping secrets that could get them both killed. Trust is a hard road for two lost souls used to keeping secrets, and their new and fragile love might not be strong enough to survive what's coming.

My thoughts on the book:
For five years Jo has hunted and finally brought her families killer to justice and its time to start over and find a new life. When she starts and communicate with Sam she will tell him just about anything as long its not the full truth to protect her and get him to like her. Sam has some secrets of his own and he has made it clear he will never love anyone again. When both are left chasing a bounty they are starting to wonder if its time to come clean with each other or will Jo leave to keep her heart safe?

I wasn't sure what to think of this book at first, this book ended up completely enjoyable. During this time period in the book women were mostly treated like they were to be seen and not heard. Jo broke those expectations she was feisty and strong will and let nothing hold her back she knew what she want and went for it.  The author did a good job keeping the time frame and the characters fun and enjoyable with some tense moments and some laughable moments. There are some adult scenes in the book they are between a married couple but they are there, so this book may not be for everyone. A few times I did have a hard time putting the book down needing to find what was happening next, however towards then end of the book it seems almost rush like it was needing to tie the book altogether to come to and end. So I would say I have a love/dislike relationship with this book.

Deadlock DiAnn Mills

What's the book about:
Two murders have rocked the city of Houston. Are they the work of a serial killer, or is a copycat trying to get away with murder?

That is the question facing Special Agent Bethany Sanchez, who is eager for her new assignment in violent crimes but anxious about meeting her new partner. Special Agent Thatcher Graves once arrested her brother, and he has a reputation for being a maverick. Plus, their investigative styles couldn’t be more opposite: he operates on instinct, while she goes by the book.

When hot leads soon fizzle out, their differences threaten to leave them deadlocked. But an attempt on their lives turns up the heat and brings them closer together, and a third victim might yield the clue that will help them zero in on a killer. This could be the case of their careers . . . if they can survive long enough to solve it.

My thoughts on the book:

This book is about two FBI agents who are pared up on their first case together and office rumors have them both wondering if this is going to be a good fit. Bethany has some struggles she is dealing with, with her family and she knows she needs to set them aside and focus on the case. It seems she just can't shake the drama. Thatcher has his own set of family issues he's dealing with the loss of his dad and he knows there is some unfinished business but he knows he needs to focus on his new parter and this case and find the person who is out to kill them and the people of Houston. Well they be able to set their personal feeling aside a get through this case or will it all just blow up?

Once I realized this was part of a series I grabbed the other two books and read those first, they were outstanding, so I expected nothing less from this book. I have to say I was a little disappointed in this book, it was not a really "on the edge of your seat" kind of book like the first two. While the book did have some moments of "oh I need to know what happens" I felt like it lacked something. I also felt this book was a lot more predictable the the other two. The end I did not see it playing out the way it did, it did have a remarkable end that was BAM. I will say that there was a part in the book that the author seemed to spend some time on and never followed back up on. Over all I would say while there are some cons to this book there are more pros and the book is worth the read.

Bride by Mistake Nicole Helm

What's the book about:

And Kaitlin Shuller’s groom of her dreams is marrying someone else… her sister.

Worst day ever. Her heart is broken, and all her carefully laid plans destroyed. Enter Beckett Larson, her older brother’s best friend and a very good bad decision.

Beckett has spent his life trying to outrun his bad reputation, but everyone already thinks the worst of him, so when Kaitlin offers herself to him — virginity and all— he just can’t say no.

But one night together has permanent consequences, and this time Beckett knows he can’t outrun his bad boy reputation. He’s determined to make Kaitlin his bride…even if he has to seduce her down the aisle.

My thoughts on the book:

Kaitlin has spent most her life in love with Carter and he loves her sister and she is just ready to  be over the wedding and see where life goes. She has decided that she is sick of living what everyone else wants and she is ready to make some changes. Beckett has been known as the bad boy for so long and he is so over it. He comes face to face with the last person he ever thought he would have to deal with his biggest fantasy come to life.
This book is a quick simple and fun read packed with lots of ups and a few (good) downs but downs that keep you guessing and wanting to find out what is going to happen. This is a book full of chemistry from the begging to the end and leaves you wanting just a little more. Its also a fun book from Marietta Montana where you find your self visiting from pervious book that really having you coming back for more.

The Closer You Get Carter Ashby

What's the book about:

If there’s one thing Rye Holcomb hates, it’s small, tight-knit towns with high virtues and zero tolerance for outsiders. Fidelity is just such a town. And Rye is just such an outsider. So when he and his brother, Cash, take jobs in Fidelity, Rye decides not to get too comfortable. Which is why he is avoiding some rather confusing feelings for his new boss, Cora McKay.

Cora was born, raised, and baptized in Fidelity. She owns a thriving construction business, has a close circle of friends, and is the breadwinner for her mother and four sisters. The one thing she lacks is a sex life, something she’s never longed for until now. One conversation with Rye sparks her sexual awakening, and, in spite of his reputation as a man-whore, Cora can’t resist giving in to his advances.

As Rye enjoys initiating his virgin employer, and Cash experiences a relationship with a man for the first time in his life, they begin to think of Fidelity as home. But small towns have brought them trouble in the past, and it appears Fidelity holds trouble for their future. Can their newfound relationships be enough to overcome a past that relentlessly follows them? Can two men who have been burned by love learn to trust again?

My thoughts on the book:

Rye and Cash are brothers and they trust no one, they are moving again to yet another small town. Rye goes to a job interview and with one thing on his mind women. He has been accused of treating them like dirt and has no respect for them. He has and I don't care attitude and is just set to make his brother happy and live on his own terms. Cash is laid back and is ready to settle down in one place he has secrets and he is so ready to put them behind him and move on and find the love of his life but he seems like he just can't get a break. Cora and Adam have been friends since kids they both are from the small town of Fidelity and have each others backs no matter what. They are both looking for love and once doesn't realize it until its right in front of them.
I am not a huge fan of this book. There are two stories going on at once and I get why they "make" the book overall. However I feel like if both stories could have been told in two separate books it would have been a lot better and easier to keep everything straight some points at the beginning were confusing.. However I will say the storyline was well written the author did a good job grabbing your attention and leave on important part of the book hanging through most of it which had you turning the pages and wanting more.

This Thing Called Love Miranda Liasson Mirror lake #1

What's the book about:

New York City self-help editor Olivia Marks faces her toughest assignment yet: parenthood. When her sister dies in a car accident, the career-oriented Olivia suddenly becomes the guardian to her four-week-old niece, Annabelle. She also becomes a challenge for Annabelle’s uncle, Brad Rushford, an old flame whose gorgeous green eyes bring Olivia’s fevered memories rushing back.
As the two circle each other in their small hometown of Mirror Lake, Olivia finds that Brad is as sexy and charming as ever—and now he’s the darling of the town as he expands his successful lakefront restaurant. Is his flirting designed to get serious, or to lower Olivia’s defenses to give up guardianship? When she finds out about the turreted, brick Victorian house Brad tours with a realtor and an attractive, no-strings-attached reporter—the same place where he and Olivia shared an unforgettable night years ago—Olivia wonders if he’s looking for a future with her, or planning to start a new life with someone else?
In the first heartwarming Mirror Lake story, steamy trysts and surprising twists lead two people to a future neither one expected.

My thoughts on the book:

Oliva is forced to become a "mom" and she is dealing with the loss of her sister, and dealing with coming home to where she has lost and is broken. She has a high powered job and is ready to just let this pass so that she can get back home to work and take care of her beautiful niece, what she didn't count on was a run in with her ex, well she knew she would have to once in a while since he's Annabelle's uncle. Brad has worked his whole life to provide for his siblings and do right by them. He lost his brother and now has his niece to think about and he knows one thing he thinks he has her life better figured out then his deceased brother and sister in law. He has been broken and has dealt with a lot and he feels like family needs to stay together and no one will get in his way.
I really liked this book it was fun and has a lot of fun characters. I had a love, hate relationship with Brad some point in the book you are really rooting for him and then you find yourself hating him. The author did a really good job with the storyline and the overall chemistry of all the characters not just the main ones. I can't wait to read Meg and Ben's story if its anything like this one it will be amazing.

His Forbidden Princess Jeannie Moon

What's the book about:
Eight years ago, university student Ian Stuart fell in love with his sweet, beautiful classmate and he’s never forgotten her. Sofie loved Ian with all her heart in return, but she didn’t trust him with one little detail about her life she’d neglected to share.
She was a princess, and they could never be together in the outside world.
Now Crown Princess Sofia is in danger. An insurgent faction in her country has targeted the royal family, and while Sofia is visiting the United States, she is forced to go into hiding. Assigned to protect her is none other than FBI Special Agent Ian Stuart.
Once again Ian and Sofie are in an impossible situation, fighting their feelings for one another, while trying to stay safe. Will their love for each other prove to be the most dangerous game of all?
My thoughts on the book:
When two hearts are meant to be together sometimes fate has other plans at least that is what Ian has been telling himself for the last 8 years. In the meantime he has been busting his but trying to forget the one person who made an impact on his heart and his life. Sofie, she is always being told how to do this or do that, she has never been able to make a decision without the approval of her parents, the only choose she has ever made was to love a man who she knew would not be able to love her back, or would he? This book from the get go is on the edge of your seat and you find your self so drawn into the story you can picture yourself there. The story is so well written and the chemistry of the characters is just popping of the page, this book out of the 4 princess books has to be my favorite.

Cinderella's Cowboy Roxanne Snopek

What's the book about:
Chad Anders doesn’t know why mousy Cynthia Henley trips all over her tongue when she’s around him. Nor does he understand his undeniable attraction to this good girl. Wild and sexy is his type, like the dream-girl he caught a glimpse of years earlier he’s never forgotten.
Cynthia’s superpower is invisibility, especially with men. It’s better for everyone that way. Besides, she’s got a cat. She’s okay. But when playboy-rancher Chad hires her, she’s got a chance to shine. Professionally, at least. Until she learns of his fascination with a mysterious dream-girl, who was actually nothing more than a shy teenager on an ill-advised dare all those years ago. Cynthia knows she’s no man’s dream-girl and never will be.
But there’s magic at the ball. Princesses glow in the starlight, princes appear out of nowhere, and, sometimes, they look a lot like cowboys…
My thoughts on the book:
Chad is back in town and ready to uncover some dreams and secrets and help a friend raise some money to help underprivileged kids, he knows one person that can make that happen Cynthia Henley. Cynthia has some secrets of  her own and is happy to keep them there and is ready to have a "business" relationship with Chad to help him get this party going, only problem is that she wants to keep is as a working relationship and her sisters have other plans.
This is such a cute and simple read, don't let the title fool you though this is not another modern day fairy tale. This book is packed with fun and with some fun and crazy characters. Its back into Marrietta Montana and you get to catch up with some fun people in other Montana Born books. You really can go wrong with this sweet and chemistry filled book.

His Defiant Princess, Kathleen O'Brien, Royal Holiday Book 3

What's the book about:

Brenna Tinley has decided to move to the Unified Isles of Cornetta, a fairy-tale kingdom just south of France in the Bay of Biscay to escape the recent tragedies in her personal life. The happiest summer she can remember was spent there, in the arms of a handsome, tender rascal who disappeared without a goodbye when Autumn came…

As fate would have it, the Royal House of Vicenza has engaged Brenna Tinley to clear up a public relations mess. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for this small-town American girl, but there’s only one problem. Her new employer, HRH Prince Ronan, aka her mystery summer lover of long ago, seems determined to pick up where they left off. Can Brenna work in the royal palace and not end up with a brand new broken heart?

My thoughts on the book:
Brenna moved with her best friend to a place that has held a special place in her heart. They have built a reputation as the best PR group in Cornetta and they hate scandal even if Brenna has been part of scandal and would rather not have to ever face or deal with it again.
Ronnie AKA Ranon has found Brenna again and he wants her like his last breath but know the first time they met he may have kept a few secrets from her and he's not sure how she will react once she finds out, well unless she already knows most of them, but when scandal rattles his family and he needs a PR firms help he thinks he as the best one in mind but he's really not sure if Brenna will help him.
This book is a very short read , simple but fun pact with a lot of fun characters. The storyline is well written and it has you wanting to find out whats going to happen next. The story doesn't ever get boring or slow the author did an amazing job engaging the reader and leaving you wanting more to the las page. If you are looking for a fun read but something you can know out in a couple of hours then this book is for you and you won't regret it.

What's the book about:
The last thing Glory Mann wants is to become chairman of the Miss Peach Pageant in Sugar, Georgia. Spending months hearing nothing but the clinking of pearls and judgment? No thank you! But when Glory is forced to take the rap for a scandal she didn't commit, the judge sentences her to head the committee. Even worse, her co-chairman is rugged, ripped . . . and barely knows she's alive.

He's ready and willing

Single dad Cal McGraw can't take any more drama in his life. After a difficult divorce, his little girl became a boy-crazy teenager and his hands are full. The last thing he needs is to spend his down time with the town bad girl. Glory is pure trouble-tempting and tantalizing trouble. But he can't deny the strong chemistry between them-or how her touch turns him inside out. Now as squabbles threaten to blow up the contest and the town of Sugar itself, Cal must risk everything on the sexy wild card to get a second chance at love...

My thoughts on the book:
Glory is not happy and the last thing she wants is to draw more attention to herself, but once again she is forced into scandal and this time she didn't commit and she was so ready to move on from the past. She gets help from the one person she never thought would even look her way. Cal he has two things on his mind other then building his business his daughter is his main priority and keeping his sister in law away so he doesn't have to deal with her crazy matchmaking skills. The only thing is his brother asked him to help him and his best friend and he is so ready do be done doing favors for his brother and they seem to always lead to one person who spells TROUBLE with a capitol T.
Ms. Adair has done amazing job again with telling an amazing story and the chemistry on every page is a real pager tuner. The storyline is well written there is not a dull moment and its a book thats hard to put down. Some of the topics that are dealt with things that every teenager deals with but the way the author keeps you drawn in and has you turning each page is amazing. You really can not go wrong with this book. Can't wait to read more from this author and more about Sugar, Georgia.

Let Me Love You Again Anna DeStefano

What's the book about:
Selena Rosenthal left behind her high school sweetheart, who was the love of her life, seven years ago.
Now, she and the once-rebellious Oliver Bowman are back in Chandlerville—after his foster father’s heart attack and Selena’s contentious divorce—to deal with her secrets, the recklessness that caused their breakup, and the almost-strangers they’ve become to each other and their families.
As soon as his father is stronger, Oliver must return to the successful career that helps support a new generation of foster kids. But he’s falling for Selena again, her daughter has a hold on his heart, and he can’t imagine leaving behind his brothers and sisters once again.
More attached by the day to their charming hometown and families, Selena and Oliver fall in love for the second time.
Has fate brought Chandlerville’s prodigal children together again…this time forever?

My thoughts on the book:
Oliver had one thing on his mind work, work and work, when he gets a phone call from his brother that takes him back home and back to one place that he doesn't really want to be because he will be forced to face things he doesn't want to and never wants to. Selena has a beautiful little girl who is her everything and Selena is now back at her moms house and is already to move on again, the only thing keeping her there is her wonderful daughter and her soon to be ex husband. There is only one problem and she is about to come face to face with it and she is no more prepared then Oliver is.
I really loved this book so fun and a real page turner. The storyline is well written and amazing, its draws  you in and all you do is get loss in it and then your find your self completely done. The chemistry is amazing the people, you find yourself feeling like your catching up with friend not just reading a story.

Caught Up in You Kim Boykin

What's the book about:

After attending her baby sister’s destination wedding, Shelby Worthington decides she’s ready to do some husband hunting of her own. The only problem? She’s still insanely attracted to Declan Enright, her high school and college crush. He’s now a wildly successful painter who’s temporarily back in Magnolia Bay, but Declan should be Shelby’s last choice for possible husband material. He didn’t earn the reputation of runaway groom for nothing…

Declan has worked hard to make his mark on the New York art scene and has succeeded at everything he’s ever done…except love. But Declan has come back to the Bay to change that and care for his dying father, even if he’s still never forgiven Declan for leaving the family business. Shelby is determined to steer clear, but while her lips keep saying no, her heart is pounding out yes each time she and Declan are together. While she can’t deny her attraction, Shelby’s convinced that Declan’s track record means he will break her heart. Or has Declan changed for good, and made love worth the risk?

My thoughts on the book:
Shelby is on the road to home when she runs into a Delcan who has a big part of her past, and she would like to keep it that way, or maybe she thinks that. Declan remembers Shelby as a sweet girl from his home town and now that they are old he is ready to grab at a chance to get to know Shelby like he's never known her before, or at least he thinks that.
This book is a short love story but pack with a lot of fun and adventure. The chemistry is amazing as you turn each page and find out whats going to happen next. The storyline is well written that it will hold your attention through the whole book and leave you wanting a little bit more of this couples journey.

Drawn to Life Elisabeth Wagner

What's the book about:

Mia Lang always thought she could brave any storm, until a frightening turn of fate caused her to lose everything she once held dear—her best friend, her boyfriend, her career, and even her desire to live.

Hoping to heal her scars and find the will to face the world again, Mia embarks on an adventure across Europe by train. But when she meets Samuel Winter—on the run from his own troubled past—her whole world is turned upside down again. Perhaps this time, though, the pieces will fall where they’re meant to. Armed with the sort of courage that only comes from having nothing to lose, Mia is about to find out, in this beautiful story of resilience and discovery.

My thoughts on the book:
Mia is on a journey to find life and find her self or at least thats what she keeps telling her self and her family and friends, only theres on problems and it keeps following her no matter where she goes.
Samuel(Sam) he's on a journey of his own his needs to find who he is but he's hiding secret and he himself need to find closure he just doesn't know how or when that will help.
Alright my first thoughts on the book were its very graphic and written more as a journal/diary then a story. However as you read the story the pages seem to draw you in and you really want to find out what happens. i am not a big fan of first person stories, however with this book I will say that it did not disappoint and it became a on the edge of your seat type of book. I can say there is not a whole lot of chemistry but as you read you understand why, but what there is does a good job of drawing you in to the story its self. Over all I was not really disappoint with the book or the storyline is worth the read.
