Cowboy Courage Carolyn Brown - Longhorn Canyon #6

Description:

Love gets a second chance in this charming cowboy romance from the New York Timesbestselling author of The Family Journal
After spending years traveling the world with the military, Rose O'Malley is ready for a change. Heading back to Texas to hold down the fort at her aunt's bed-and-breakfast will give Rose just the break she needs. But while she may speak seven languages, she can't repair a leaky sink to save her life. When Hudson Baker strides in like a hero and effortlessly figures out the fix, Rose can't help wondering if the boy she once crushed on as a kid could now be her saving grace.
Hud has always been rock-solid and dependable-a quintessential cowboy to his core. But the moment Rose steps back into his life, his world is turned upside down by meddling family, a rescued baby, and one highly mischievous cat. Now he'll have to decide if it's time to throw caution to the wind and do whatever it takes to convince Rose that by her side is exactly where he wants to stay.
Includes the bonus novella Wildflower Ranch, a continuation of Daisies in the Canyon.

My thoughts on the book:

I have to say that this book was ok. I felt like the book kind of dragged a lot more then I expected, However I loved Luna she was a freaking hoot. I felt like between her and Molly they really made the story and made you want to love all the characters and find out what was going to happen next with those two. I liked Rose and Hud but sometimes it just felt very awkward and the relationship almost seemed forced not natural. there is some adult situations and languages but over all the book was a ok read. Luna will defiantly keep you laughing for sure. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Cowboy Rebel Carolyn Brown -(Longhorn Canyon #4)

Description:

A wild Texas cowboy is about to meet his match in an ER nurse in this heartwarming romance from a USA Today bestseller, which includes a bonus novella from Annie Rains.

Ever since losing his best friend in a motorcycle accident, Taggart Baker wants to make every moment count. No dare is too dangerous, no adventure too crazy for this cowboy. But after one bad brush with the law, he realizes it's time to ditch his hooligan friends and grow up. Now he's running his own ranch next to the Longhorn Canyon spread in Texas. Still, no one would ever call him tame.

Nikki Grady has worked too hard for her RN license just to throw it away for some reckless cowboy who shows up in her emergency room after a barroom brawl. But she can't help being drawn to Tag's sense of humor and those crystal blue eyes. The more time they spend together, the more she sees his good heart. But just as Tag seems ready to settle down for good, his troubled past comes calling-and this time he won't be able to walk away so easily.

Includes the bonus novella A Wedding on Lavender Hill by Annie Rains: When an event planner is asked to create the perfect wedding in just three days, she must turn to the last person she wants to ask for help -- the infuriating owner of the house on the hilltop.

My thoughts on the book:

I really liked this book it was a fun read for sure. My heart broke for Nikki I felt so bad for her because of all the things she faced with her mom and how she seemed to crave this "mother/daughter" relationship that just didn't seem to work because of who her mom is. I really enjoyed how the relationship with Tag and Nikki was a gradual thing and not all about how strong the chemistry was an how to make it work after, it just felt natural. Tag was this bad boy in training but looking for a reason to see more in life and the struggle was so evident with him. I really enjoyed the relationship that Tag has with his siblings and how important they are to him and he is to them even though he choose to "live like he is dying." Oh my goodness and how can you not love the fab 5 and the fun they add they were such a hoot. I loved how the author used a ton of country song reference in the book which was fun. This book has some a adult language and situations. This book was fun read and I can't wait to read more from these fun characters I really can't wait to see what happens with Hud and the Irish Brothers soon.I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

From the New York Times bestselling cowboy queen comes "a story that is sure to please fans" about a "slow-simmering romance" and the "simple pleasures of ranch life" (Publishers Weekly). Includes a bonus novella by Katie Lane!

Getting back home to Oklahoma with her four-year-old niece is top priority. And lucky for her, help comes in the form of a true Texas cowboy...

Levi Jackson has always been a sucker for strays. So he can't help getting involved when he comes across Claire and her little niece shivering in the cold. By offering them a place to stay until her car is fixed, he can make sure the two are taken care of - and get to know the sassy Claire better.

What starts as something awkward and temporary starts feeling cozier by the minute. And soon Levi is hoping he can convince Claire she has a permanent place in his heart.

Plus, bonus story "O Little Town of Bramble" by Katie Lane!
All Ethan Miller wants for Christmas is to celebrate in Bramble, Texas, with family and friends. But when his childhood neighbor comes home for the holiday, Ethan realizes that the girl-next-door could be the girl of his dreams.

My thoughts on the book:

A women with sass, a gun and a sassy nieces to boot and a hot cowboy comes to the rescue what more could you ask for and what could go wrong. This story was a super fun read. I loved how the way the author wrote the story made the way that things played out was very organic and not rushed. I loved that she took two really strong willed and people and let things just play out the way they lie. I  really enjoyed Zaylie she really brought so much to this story and you find yourself laughing a lot. This story does have adult situations but over all I could not see any piece of this story missing everything just seem to work and seemed to fit. I have not read the first book in the series but I am so going to grab it I can't wait to see where the author takes the characters in the next book. I would totally recommend this book it was so fun and one of the sweetest loves stories.
