In Too Deep Dani Collins- Blue Spruce Lodge #3

Description:
At her wit’s end with her twelve-year-old niece, Wren Snow takes the manager’s job at Blue Spruce Lodge so Sky can get to know her father, Trigg Johanssen—a tycoon snowboarder with a playboy reputation.

Gold-medalist Trigg Johanssen is furious she kept Sky a secret but quits competition to focus on his newly discovered daughter only to have his chemistry with Wren complicate their attempts to co-parent.

When outside forces threaten the ski resort he’s rebuilding, a marriage of convenience seems like the answer. It would give his daughter the life she deserves but is it too much for a heartbroken woman still nursing past hurts?

My thoughts on the book:

Wren can’t take it anymore her nieces needs her dad and she is ready to finally make them happen. Can she do whats best for both of them or will introducing them be a mistake from all sides? Trigg can’t believe the past is finally catching up with him. When he finds out he has a daughter he has no choice but to take it in stride even though everyone thinks he can’t be tamed he’s willing to try and put her first. Can he get to know his daughter or will it just be too much time lost between them?

I really enjoyed this book, I am not sure if this the final book in the series but I will be honest I hope not I have really enjoyed this group of “friends”. I love coming and reading about Haven Montana and the fun characters and what they have been up too. I loved how the author included Sky in a big way in this book so it wasn’t just about Wren and Trigg’s story but you got to read about how Skylar was effected and her thoughts which I think added a whole different element to the story overall. I really loved how we got to catch up with Rolf, Glory, Nate, and Ilke. I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like this book just seemed to flow which made it really hard to put down. This book does have adult language and situations, but if that does not bother you grab this book and this series it's so good you can’t go wrong. Like I said I can’t wait for more.

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

From the Top Dani Collins, Blue Spruce Lodge Book 2

Description:
Their hot New Year’s Eve wasn’t supposed to have consequences…

Fiercely independent after a difficult childhood, Ilke Lunquist devotes herself to one thing: skiing. She’s on the cusp of gold when an unexpected pregnancy throws her future into chaos.

Nathaniel Hart takes on the daunting project of restoring Whiskey Jack Ski Resort to be close to his young son, but with one failed marriage behind him, he avoids serious relationships.

They might be virtual strangers with only a baby in common, but Nate is determined to be part of his child's life. Ilke didn't become a champion by ever backing down from a challenge, especially not one where her child's happiness and her own heart are on the line. When tragedy strikes, heartbreak draws them closer together. Nate discovers he’s more than ready for a bigger family and maybe, just maybe, Ilke will find the home that has eluded her all her life.

My thoughts on the book:

This book takes you back to Whiskey Jack Ski resort, where you catch up with Rolf, Glory and the gang. Nate will stop at nothing to get the Resort up and running but when Ilke shows up with a huge "surprise" it seems that everything is about to be flipped on its head. Ilke comes back to Montana after a failure in Korea with and unexpected pregnancy and she just need to feel like she belongs even if its just for a moment. It seems everything is working against these two can the come together and work towards a common goal?
It rings true in this book you never know what you had until you loose it, without giving much away there is love, loss, and heartache. You catch up with Glory and Rolf are planning their wedding and Marvin and Vivian are working together to keep the Lodge going, which was nice and super fun. As Nate and Ilke work through their struggles they are each faced with something that really gets to you and your heart. This book can have you laughing, crying and over all just sucked into the story. This story does have adult language and situations. This book was a fun love story and I did feel towards then end it did drag on a little but over all this book was so good and it was like catching up with friends. I really can't wait to read Trigg's story and catch up more from this fun bunch.

On the Edge Dani Collins- (Blue Spruce Lodge #1)

Description:
When Glory Cormer’s father introduces her to ‘their’ new business partner, she’s appalled. Viking-like Rolf Johansson exudes the same alpha-intimidation that jocks used to torment her through high school. After nursing her mother the last several years, she’s trying to break out of her shell and secretly pursue a writing career, but Rolf insists she go through with the rotten deal her father struck with his brother to renovate an old chalet.

Rolf envisions this mountain as a world-class resort for elite athletes and other jet setters. As a downhill champion and owner of a world-renowned sports equipment empire, he knows what it takes to get what he wants. Nothing will stop him, especially not a hotheaded wallflower who turns the ice in his veins to lava.

Bonus Story! This book contains Glory’s novella Blessed Winter, a no-room-at-the-inn Christmas romance.

My thoughts on the book:
Glory is dealing with the loss of her mother when her dad get this hair brain idea and not she is along for the ride. But her dream is to keep writing and hopes that it will help cover the cost for dad's craziness. Rolf has lost and now he it helping his brother get this ski resort off the ground only problem is he has a board to answer to and nothing seems to be going his way. Can the two of them get along just long enough to see it this project will even work?

I will say this book as some super explosive scenes in it and it does offer a small story inside so its like you're getting two in one which is kind of fun. I loved Glory she had this soft side but don't mess with her she can be explosive too. She wants to find herself so she's dealing with a lot of pain and hurt but over all she was just easy to connect with. I had a love hate relationship with Rolf. I found him a little annoying and the author made him completely unrelatable for most the book so it was kind of frustrating some times. This book is a steamy romance and is full of adult language and scenes so if thats what your looking for this book is for you.

His Blushing Bride Dani Collins M

What's the book about:
Wedding fever has hit the little town of Marietta…
Piper Tierney is busy wrapping up the school year and planning the music for Marietta’s Wedding Of The Century. She does not need one of her parents’ backpacking hippies under foot. Except the guy they let stay in their house is so much more than the California couch-surfer he resembles. Before she knows it, she’s making time to make time, even though he’s only in town for a couple of weeks.
Taking a break from working on his doctorate in political science,Sebastian Bloom wants to reassure himself his sister isn’t making another mistake with her upcoming wedding to a Marietta rancher. He’s definitely not looking for a bride for himself. Marriage and family are a trap. But Piper is cute, funny, and wants to move on from her ex.
They agree to a no strings affair, but will they wind up tying the knot?
My thoughts on the book:

Piper grew up in Marietta she can easily blend right in and she finds that she likes music and it the one place she can hide that no one seems to noticed her. She recently has been faced with some challenges but its nothing she can't handle. Well except maybe this one, he parents are in another country and email to tell her someone will be staying in there house while there gone this is not the first person her parents brought home just the first one with out them her.
Sebastian Bloom lands in Marietta and the last thing he expects is to find a women who is immune to him. He is there for his sisters wedding and he wants no women no commitment and Piper is no exception. She's a girl looking for long term and he doesn't believe in long term. When the two of them clash and repeatedly he takes it as a challenge little does he expect what turns out.
This was a fun book short sweet but very sassy and saucy. This book has you drawn in and you find yourself  really enjoying the storyline right away. There was never a dull moment  very fun and you will not want to miss out on the fun people of Marietta.

Blame The Mistletoe Dani Collins (Montana Born Books series)

What's the book about:
Liz Flowers has never enjoyed Christmas, and a visiting California girl doesn’t have much in common with the ranchers in small town Marietta.
Blake Canon is smitten fast, but then he realizes he knows Liz. She was once married to the brother of his ex-wife.
Their children might be cousins, but Blake and Liz do the kissing—under the mistletoe - until their children arrive home unexpectedly, and family secrets are revealed. Now Liz isn’t sure she’ll stay in Marietta for Christmas after all.

My thoughts on the book:

HOT!!!! HOT!!! HOT!!! I love the chemistry in this book among all of the characters. In the last 4 book I have been reading a lot about Marietta Montana I have to say this book tops them all they all were wonderful but this book draws you in and make you want to visit Marietta and talk and hang out with these characters. This book is short but packed with a lot of fun and it will keep you drawn into the story line from the beginning to the end. If you are looking for a non traditional love story that is short and sweet this is the book for you!!!

The Bachelor's Baby Dani Collins

What's the book about:
Your date with Bachelor #3 includes champagne and chocolate in the limo that collects you, a helicopter tour of Marietta and the surrounding mountains and valleys, and dinner at a five star restaurant in Great Falls. While oil baron Linc Brady wines and dines you, a main service will completely clean your home.
Who could resist this tempting offer, but Meg Canon plans to do just that. She is only home to clean out her childhood bedroom for her brother’s new step-daughter and then she’s outta her childhood small town and back to her life in Chicago, but when she meets the sexy, renegade millionaire while she’s stuck in the snow, sparks fly and Meg is tempted to maybe stay a little longer.
Linc Brady is new in town and happy to help a kid in need, but this? Technically he doesn’t owe Meg a damned thing after she bids on him, after setting him up for the Marietta bachelor auction in the first place, but her high-class city polish is his fatal weakness and makes her impossible to forget. When she agrees to come home with him, he makes it clear he’s a confirmed bachelor. This is a one-night thing. One night that turns into nine months and maybe a lifetime…?
My thoughts on the book:
Linc is new to Marietta, when he's headed into town he pulls over to help Meg, who grow up in Marietta and is home "escaping". Things don't go good that first meeting, but later on when they run into each other things get really interesting. The chemistry in the book between the characters comes on strong from the beginning. The story builds from there. I can't say it keeps you guessing through the whole book but its definitely sizzling through the whole book.  Meg works hard to remember whats important which to her is to find where she comes from and whats important to her which is family I think in the end, she finds something far more interesting and more important that she realizes thats been under her nose and she didn't realize it, but in the process found a lot more. This love story is short and sweet but just like the other books in the series is worth the read.
