Take a Chance on Me Jane Porter- Miracle on Chance Avenue #3

Description:
Savvy stylist Amanda Wright loves Marietta, her hair salon, and her clients, and no client is more dear to her heart than eighty-year-old Bette Justice–even if her years have made her a little fragile. So when Bette asks Amanda to help her convince her determined grandson, Tyler, a successful game designer, that Marietta is the right home for Bette, Amanda can’t say no.

Tyler Justice has a one-track mind–he wants to take care of his beloved grandmother. He can’t understand her resistance to move to Texas and is sure that the young friend she keeps mentioning–Amanda–is taking advantage of his grandmother’s generosity. He reaches Marietta determined to put the salon owner in her place and bring his grandmother home…until smart, kind Amanda starts to tug at his heart in ways he never expected.

But just as Tyler and Amanda start to form a real connection, will a long-buried family secret destroy their chance at love?

My thoughts on the book:

Amanda is sassy and fierce and knows just what she wants out of life and will stop at nothing to get that. When some one questions her integrity she will stop at nothing to prove them wrong. But this time a secret may have taken it to far. Tyler will do everything in his power to protect his grandmother, not he just need to convince her to move with him and then she's close and he can protect her as he sees fit. What he didn't expect was that his grandma is loved by many and it may not be as easy as her thought. Can Amanda convince Tyler that Bette is better off in Montana or will there be something else at play?

Marietta Montana is like your favorite tv show no matter what "new episode" is showing your have to  "watch it"/read it so you can find out what's new. You just fall more in love each time. In this book you won't be disappointed, it's the same thing. Wonderful fun characters sucking you into a new story and catching up on some of the older "friends". Yes I do find that this story was a little predictable but honestly it was refreshing in a sense, I also felt like in a way it also kept you guessing some too. I really loved how Amanda and Bette were both vulnerable and open but also independent, strong and fierce. I also enjoyed that this book was a good clean book. There was not strong language and the relationship wasn't centered around sex but trying to find out where the other fit and if it would work. I really enjoyed the relationships between Amanda and her sisters and how they are fighters and willing to hold their heads high no matter what. Overall I had a hard time putting this book down such a sweet love story and well worth the read.
