My thoughts on the book:

What I like about this author is that she never sugar coat's anything, no topic or subject are ever off limits. In this story that was very much the case she has away of always getting to the heart of the matter as well. I really enjoyed this story of Randy and Blaine, I felt like after reading The Melody in my Head I could not wait to find out what happened with them. Blaine and what she faced broke my heart but dang this girl came out swinging and you never knew what she was going to do next. I loved her take no prisoner attitude. Randy is loyal to a fault and at first I thought he had no back bone but at the end of the day that changed and it was hard not to really really like him and root for him. I don't know what character the author has next for us but I can say if its this same group of friends than I can't wait for more. This book does have sex and adult language so it may not be suitable for all.
