Cowboy Come Home Sinclair Jayne- The 79th Copper Mountain Rodeo #3

Description:

Rodeo cowboy Boone Telford feels like he’s running out of time to make his mark. By his age, his father was an All-Around-Cowboy multiple times and his siblings are all highly accomplished in their fields. Boone vows that this is his year to stand out and finally be a champion as long as he remains focused, but a beautiful masseuse he met on a quick detour to the beach has given him a glimpse of a happy life that doesn’t involve buckles or prize money. Is loving Piper and settling down on his family’s Montana ranch giving up his dreams and destiny? When he pulls into his home town of Marietta, he knows it’s now or never, and he probably needs to let Piper go.

Masseuse Piper Wiley is doing the one thing she swore she never would–following a man who's chasing his career from town to town. The daughter of an Army colonel, Piper’s lived all over the world, but has always craved permanence and belonging. Meeting Boone was unexpected and powerful. Love at first sight. But can she convince her cowboy to finally come home and make his mark with her?

My thoughts on the book:

All Piper ever wanted was family, and too belong too someone. When she met Boone she thought he was everything she ever wanted, only problem is she needed to either convince him or show him how much he could be everything she wants and needs.
The author could have gone two ways with the way she portrayed Piper, she could have portrayed her as a clueless, helpless, codependent damsel in distress, but instead she made Piper a fighter, fearless, independent women with a good head on her shoulders while making her soft kinder spirit with a big tender heart. The chemistry in this book jumped off the pages they did not lack in that at all. While the story was a fun read I wish it was less sex and more story, it seemed Piper and Boone's relationship was all sex and nothing else for most of the book and when they finally got to the heart of the matter it seemed rush. This book does have strong adult language and situations.

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion.

Halloween at the Graff Sinclair Jayne

Description:
Starting over at thirty-two is never fun, especially in a town the size of a postage stamp. Chasing that with having to beg for a job she’s wildly over-qualified for and Walker Wilder’s pride is really burned. But now that she’s the new events director for the historic Montana Graff Hotel, she’s tasked with creating buzz and traditions to fill rooms during the off-season. Halloween may not scream touristy, but hiring a spirit-hunting TV crew will definitely grab some headlines... But when the sexy spirit hunter shows up, he haunts more than her dreams.

Calum Quest is done. He’s created an entertainment empire by chasing something he’s never seen and is tired of asking questions with no answers. His life has been defined by ghosts he needs to exorcise, yet, when a red-haired, grey-eyed beauty with a body that melts his mind pours him a double shot of Laphroaig whiskey and challenges him to one more round, how can he say no?

My thoughts on the book:
Walker is coming to Marietta to hide in a sense from a past she need to get over and look for a place to belong. She feels completely let down and abandon from so many people can she move on and maybe get some answers to questions she didn't even know she had till now? Calum can't believe his eyes as she walks in but he needs to stand to his guns he there for one purpose and one purpose only to find out if he's ready to move on. But it seems the Ghost of The Graff or someone for that matter might have other plans for him. Can they get the answers they seek with out getting hurt again?

At the beginning of the book I found it was slow and dragged a little. I felt as it carried on it did pick up but there seemed to be a few slow points in the book. I really enjoyed each one of the main characters no one seems weak or came off weak, they came off strong and very independent. The book was fun and I loved catching up with the fun characters from previous books from Marietta. Over all this book was a fun read and it seems to be a quick read. I can't wait to read more from Marietta Montana. You really can't go wrong with this fun bunch.
