What You Do to Me Barbara Longley

Description:
Whether it’s repairing a home or taking care of clients’ other needs, Twin Cities handyman Sam Haney is in demand from his mostly female clientele. Despite Sam’s lothario reputation, love isn’t part of his portfolio. He’s built a lot of walls in his time, but the one that’s surrounded his heart ever since the death of his parents is his most solid yet.
Haley Cooper has had enough heartache for a lifetime. Her high school sweetheart up and moved to Indonesia—alone—just two weeks before their wedding. Her mother thinks it’s time for Haley to move on and contracts Sam to work on Haley’s wreck of a house—and anything else, if he’s got the notion.
Sparks fly and passion ignites. But Haley isn’t into Sam’s love-’em-and-leave-’em act. She wants something more. Fixing a house is one thing, but for this handyman, building a relationship will need a whole different set of skills.

My thoughts on the book:

Haley is healing a broken heart and "remodeling" her home and her life in the process. When her mom and aunt seem to scheme she thinks its time to teach them a lesson. But will if back fire on all involved and can she come out in the end with her heart still intact? Sam announces to the Twin city area he is the "handiest" handyman in the area. His grandpa is not to happy, but when he gets sent to fix Haley's house he wonders if everything he's been working for in his life is really what is important anymore. When his life comes into question and his motives come into play will he be able to prove himself as the good guy or will he do exactly what he was accused of being? Can Haley and Sam work together and come out in the end better then they started or will it just be to much for one of them?
Wow what a fun book. I could not help but laugh with in the first few pages. The characters are amazing you find yourself wanting to know more and then really enjoy what you are finding out. I don't live far from the Saint Paul area and it makes me want to go visit all the fun places in the book. The author did a wonderful job at connecting the characters with the readers and has a way of making you feel like you are catching up with friends instead of reading about fictional characters. The storyline is quirky and perfect there is a ton of sexual build up in this book with also some adult scenes in the book. Other then that I would totally recommend this fun book. I can't wait to read more  from Barbara and find out whats in store next.
