My thoughts on the book:

I have never read anything by Charlee and I was not disappointed with this book at all. In this book Lindsay comes home broken from a marriage that did not work, but she's also very pregnant and will stop at nothing to protect and give this child the life she deserves. When she run into Damien it seems like things aren't going as planned for either. Damien is home to close up his dads estate and to bury the old man and so regrets that seem to still haunt Damien. This book was super fun read and really got you in the heart two broken people looking for healing but not want to face the things that are right there. They try to work it through but nothing seems to work. The love between the two seems very natural and not forced which is refreshing. I also enjoyed how the author described the area without to much just perfect it makes you want to go an visit the Cap just to see what was described. I loved how easy the story flowed and really got you into the story while leaving you guessing where she was going next. This story does have a some adult language and mild adult scenes but so worth the read.
