The Trouble with Cowboy Weddings Nicole Helm

Description:

From Nicole Helm, the author of the national bestselling Stone Cold, Navy Seal Cowboys, and Big Sky Cowboys series!

In Colorado’s glorious big-sky country, everything is done with cowboy flair—even boot-stomping, hat-tipping cowboy weddings . . .

As the middle Tyler brother, Gavin doesn’t always have much say in ranch decisions, but when it comes to his heart, he’s the only authority. He’s loved Louisa “Lou” Fairchild for longer than he can remember, even though they’ve never been more than friends. But with Lou stuck between the proverbial rock and hard place, Gavin is going to help the way any true friend would—with a proposal of a strictly business-like, in-name-only marriage . . . at least to start.

Lou can’t believe her beloved grandmother has backed her up against the wall. The choice between finding a man to marry and letting her no-good father back into the family to run the ranch isn’t a choice at all! But when her sister counters with an even less savory idea, Lou knows what she must do—say yes to the only man she’s ever trusted. But somehow pretending to be in love with good-natured Gavin suddenly begins to feel alarmingly real—and she downright likes it.

Can a sham marriage become the truest kind of love?

Praise for Nicole Helm’s previous romances

“Perfect for fans of Susan Mallery and Jill Shalvis.”—Kirkus Reviews

“A deeply moving contemporary. . . . The protagonists are refreshingly willing to be up front about their feelings and listen to each other, and readers will want to revisit their story often.”
—Publishers Weekly STARRED REVIEW

My thoughts on the book:

So as many readers have I am sure at on point or another you have read a book on marriage of convince, this book has the feel one hundred percent. However the way the author had it played out it just never felt that way. I really found the story was really cute and had a fun feel to it. I really like Gavin he showed he was the strong silence type but also had a soft side. I loved Lou she was such a spitfire and no matter what she face she fought hard but loved even harder. The grandma's and the busbody Tyler's were always up to no good. I think personally coming from a large family I can see how Gavin just wants a bread for a minute from all there nosiness. This book does have strong language and adult situations so may not be for all readers. Over all this was a fun book. Can't wait to read more from these families. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Cowgirl Cat Sarah Price (The Cowgirl Cat Series) (Volume 1)

Description:
All Cat Lansing wanted for her thirteenth birthday was an iPhone. Her older sister, Brooke, introduces her to the world of social media on her new phone and, unknowingly, Cat gets much more than she bargained for. She discovers Aiden Quinn, a teenage cowboy from Colorado who posts funny videos with his horses on Vine. Determined to get him to notice her, Cat quickly realizes that she is not alone in her pursuit for Aiden to follow her.

When Aiden and his friends tour the country with the Rodeo Rage Tour, Cat comes up a plan to finally meet him. But how can she compete with hundreds of thousands of other girls clamoring for his attention?

My thoughts on the book:

Cat is on a mission to get the attention of a social media star and she will stop at nothing to get his attention. While others are wanting to get his attention because they think he's adorable Cat wants his attention because they share the love of horses in common. It just seems to not be in the cards for them to meet, she lives in New Jersey and he doesn't even know she exists. Can she get the help of her friends and family to make the meet happen?
I love Sarah's books and this ones no different. However like Sarah's other books most being amish this book was not. She tells a story of a young girl who is mischief and seems to be up to no good, but tries to convince herself she's the best kid in the family and its not as bad as her brother and sister. I loved how Sarah did not make Cat this spoiled bratty teenager but a normal teenager with the same everyday problems they all face. This book is truly geared for a younger age group and I love that. I remember being 10 and wanting a horse and in this story you can see the journey that Cat has to take in hopes one day she can to have a horse, as well as some other dreams she is seeking. I would highly recommend this book to girl of any age it just the perfect read.

His Outback Cowgirl Alissa Callen The Wildflower Ranch Series

What's the book about:

Australian cowgirl, Bridie Willis, travels to Montana to meet her half-brother and to escape the pain of losing her father. Headstrong and determined to live life to the full, she plans to spend the summer photographing wild animals in the back country.

Cowboy, Ethan Morgan, has been shaped by a childhood spent on the run. Cautious, steady and conservative, he must ensure the risk-taking cowgirl he is entrusted to babysit doesn’t come to any harm.

But the biggest challenge Ethan must face is to accept how Bridie makes him feel. And the biggest risk Bridie must take is to trust in her heart.

My thoughts on the book:

Birdie comes to Marietta with her mother and finds out she has a half brother she never knew about. Now she's her in Montana away from the only home she grew up in and has ever know to deal with a loss that has her world falling apart or so she thinks.
Ethan has a heart of gold but know that is a situation presents its self he has no problem defending and protecting his family. He came to Montana to help his dad he he just found with in the last few years recover from surgery. Now he is put into a situation he seems to not be able to say no to, or will he find loss greater then love?

I feel like even before the chemistry picks up which you just find yourself falling in love with all the characters. I love the quirkiness of Henry and Birdie. Once the chemistry hits you have no chance you will want to read every page to find out what is going on, not just because of the chemistry but because of the storyline it self. This book is a real page turner for sure.
