Belle Sarah Price - An Amish Retelling of Beauty and the Beast

Description:
In author Sarah Price’s fresh and inspirational retelling of a beloved classic, a dutiful young Amish woman agrees to marry a notorious recluse for her family’s sake—but the consequences are more than either bargained for . . .

To most townsfolk, he’s known simply as The Beast. Annabelle Beiler has little interest in gossip, but she’s heard about Adam Herschberger’s scars and his gruff, solitary ways. Though he sounds like a character from one of Belle’s treasured books, the man is real and, it turns out, just as unreasonable as the rumors claim. When a buggy accident wipes out the last of her daed’s money, forcing him to sell their farm, Adam buys it. Then he offers Belle a deal—marry him, and her family can keep their home.

Everyone is shocked by Belle’s decision, but she’s determined to be a good fraa, cleaning Adam’s rundown house and tending the overgrown garden. Breaking through her new husband’s icy reserve will be another matter. Belle’s courage and strength are abundant, but it will take true faith to guide Adam back to the heart of his Amish community—and to the loving marriage they both deserve.

My thoughts on the book:

What has she gotten herself into was the one thing Belle wondered?Belle knew she would not go back on her word but hoped and prayed God would guide her through this time in her life.
Adam is better off alone but when he see something that catches his eye he knows that its only in his dreams. As things start to play he wonders what he has gotten himself into. Can they both survive the mess they just got into or are the better off walking away?
Sarah did not disappoint with this book. While I was afraid this story my be to much like the fairy tale that was no the case she took and put her own twist to the story and did not let the reader down at all. I literally held off reading the last chapter in this book for like 20 minutes because I just did not want it to end. I am so excited for more of this fun series and see where Sarah takes us next. I Loved how you could find yourself crying and laughing in the same page and how the book was a good clean read. I loved how you could get your self so loss in the story and whats going to happen next all of a sudden your at the end only wanting it to never end. You seriously can not go wrong with this light hearted retelling of Beauty and the Beast where healing seems a farm away.

Stealing Hearts Erika Marks A Magnolia Bay Love Story

What's the book about:

Bartender Mick Atwell has one more commitment before he leaves Magnolia Bay for Colorado: help his best friend, Tim, get his new wine bar POUR ready in time for its Valentine’s Day grand opening. But when Tim’s little sister Lucy breezes into town unexpectedly from New York for a visit, Mick doesn’t see how they’ll keep to their tight schedule—any more than he sees how this beautiful, spirited woman could possibly be the same irresponsible “kid” Tim has been complaining about for years…

Despite her carefree smile, Lucy Waverly hasn’t come back to Magnolia Bay for a vacation—she’s come home to hide. After discovering her boss at the gallery is selling forgeries, she needs to lay low and figure out a plan to get herself out of this dangerous mess—a plan which can’t include falling for her brother’s sexy best friend, no matter how safe he makes her feel, or how his smoldering eyes turn her inside out.

Mick has one foot out the door, but when Lucy's troubles follow her to Magnolia Bay, they are thrust together to keep one step ahead of danger and get POUR open in time. Soon the man who lives by his plans is wondering if the woman who lives by chance may not be worth

My thoughts on the book:

This book is about 2 people on the run from something but definitely not on the run together and both hiding something from the other. Mac is working hard to help a old friend out and help him set to open a new bar, when Tim is called away everything falls in Mac's lap. Lucy knows her brother thinks she's a failure but she thinks this will top it all and this time its not her fault well not really anyways. I love the silliness in the book between Tim and Lucy, and I loved Lucy's can do attitude and big heart with just about everything. Mac oh my can you say HOT and Trouble with a capital T. Mac and the chemistry he has really sets the tone for the book from the very beginning. This book will not fail you if you are looking for smoken hot and steamy with a whole lot of mystery then this book will not let you down. I had a hard time putting it down its a quick read but a good read. You won't be let down and it will keep you going to the very end.
