The Chill of an Early Fall Mary Alford- Amish Mountain Secrets Book 1

Description:

A STALKER IN AMISH COUNTRY

An act of rejection drove Sadie Eicher away from her St. Ignatius Amish Community at seventeen. Now, a stalker’s threats force her to return to her Amish roots.

When she first received the dozen red roses, Sadie thought it was a mistake. Until her stalker breaks into her apartment in Billings, Montana, and leaves a chilling message that takes away all doubt and sends her fleeing for her life.

The moment Elam Beiler comes face to face with a terrified Sadie, two things become crystal clear. She is running away from something very bad, and he’s still as crazy about her as he was the day she left.

Can Elam help Sadie unravel the truth behind a stalker’s obsession before she becomes his next victim? And if he does, will he lose Sadie forever when she leaves the way of life he can’t imagine walking away from.

From USA Today Bestselling Author Mary Alford comes a brand new Amish Suspense series that will take you to the stunning vistas of the Mission Mountains of Montana where even in the quiet St. Ignatius Amish Community, danger and intrigue lurks!

My thoughts on the book:

In most amish book is always about the good and how they struggle with something in their life styles or leaving the religion. In this book the author took you for a twist and turn, super twisted for sure, but very realistic. I really liked Sadie, and her Mom they were both very stubborn and strong willed but very out spoken and they author made you feel like you were catching up with friends. I wish Elam would have been a little bit more spoken but he and his brother hands down had hearts of gold and would do anything for those they love. This book was a quit read and you really can't go wrong with this book.
