Description:
Loni Parker, a music major struggling to find employment, seeks refuge at Camp Hope only to encounter the man who took her sight.
On the verge of college graduation, Loni Parker seeks employment as a music teacher, but no one will hire her since she’s blind. Or so she thinks. To take her mind off her troubles, her roommate invites her to spring retreat at Camp Hope in the gorgeous North Carolina mountains. Unbeknown to Loni, Michael Ackerman, the director, is an ex-con responsible for the accident that caused her blindness. When Loni warms up to camp and wants to return as a summer counselor, Michael opposes the idea, which only makes Loni want to prove herself all the more. Though she doesn’t expect to fall for the guy. Still, her need for independence and dream of teaching win out, taking her far away from her beloved Camp Hope . . . and a certain director.
Camp director Michael Ackerman recognizes Loni instantly and wants to avoid her at all costs. Yet, despite the guilt pushing him from her, a growing attraction draws him to the determined woman. She sees more with her heart than the average person does with his eyes. But her presence also dredges up a long-buried anger toward his alcoholic father that he’d just as soon keep hidden. When circumstances spin out of control, Michael is forced to face a past that may destroy his present.
My thoughts on the book:
Loni has lost her sight and it seems that no one wants to hire a blind girl. When a college roommate drags her to Christian camp she starts to wonder if maybe her life purpose was meant to do something else. Michael cannot believe in all the people she is in his camp and for the summer and it seems no amount of discouragement on his part will prevent her from working as the councilor for the summer. Can he be honest with her about who he is and find the forgiveness he has looked for ten years or will it all be too much for her?
On Amazon it lists the age group for this book 12-18, I think anyone over the age of 12 can truly benefit from this book. This story is amazing it is so well put together and really reaches into your heart and mind and gets you thinking. I can not say this story is 100% a love story. I feel if someone asked me to summarize this story I would have to describe this story as a story of hope, and finding forgiveness when who don't really deserve it and finding hope when all seems lost. Now don't get me wrong where is a love story playing out but the others are more prominent in the story. You will find yourself laughing and crying for sure. I love that this story is a good clean read and that you walk away feeling like a better person having just read it. Also, there are some tough subjects talked about in this book and the authors did an amazing job and letting those subjects not be so strong it took from the story. No matter the age grab this book you will not regret it.

When Cady Russell receives a heartbreaking call from Deputy Sheriff Aamon Lone Elk telling her that her sister has died in a fire that mimics the one that took her parents’ lives twenty years earlier, Cady knows she has to return to Wyoming to find out what really happened to Samantha.
Deputy Sheriff Aamon Lone Elk knows a little about grief himself. He lost his wife to a drunk driver five years earlier. Aamon still isn’t able to move beyond the pain. Yet meeting Cady Russell throws him. She is both beautiful and strong, and he is attracted to her right away.
Cady has been lost in the past as well, unable to move beyond the tragedy that claimed her parents. Now her sister is dead by the same means, and she is convinced the two fires are related.
As the attraction between them continues to grow, can Aamon keep Cady safe as they peel back the layers of lies connected to the two fires? Or will a killer bent on keeping his deadly acts secret send them both to their graves?
My thoughts on the book:
Cady has lost her parents at a young age, and now she gets the call she has dreaded she lost her sister. It seems so close to the loss of her parents. Aamon hates the part of his job notifying next of kin he just never expected when Cady to show up his life to be thrown off kilter. Can they get to the bottom of all of this before someone else ends up killed?
I loved this book, so good this book keeps you on the edge of your seat for sure. I loved how in the midst of losing her sister Cady keeps fighting for whats right and how Aamon seeks out healing. This book is a good clean read and is amazing. It's a short story but its packed full of adventure that won't leave you disappointed. This book is worth the read grab it you won't be disappointed.

Wilder keeps Cosette close to guard her from the quickly escalating threats and attacks. But can he accomplish the mission without breaking his strict code against dating employees? Or putting his heart and life at risk?
My thoughts on the book:
Cosette seems like she will never escape the person who is after her. She thought she finally got away but it seems the person is set to destroy her. Wilder feels like here we go again. It seems he can't escape the past and he can't get away from loosing those close to him. Can he keep Cosette safe and protect her and find who's doing this or will it all be to late?
This book was super amazing. There was a ton of twist and turns and when you think you have it all figured out the author does an amazing job of throwing a wrench into the story and keeps you guessing. This story is powerful and sucks you in for sure. In this story not only do the characters face stalking but they are faced with finding forgiveness and finding hope in the impossible. You really will not be disappointed. This book is a good clean read and so well worth it.

OH, my goodness where do I even begin with this book it was so good. From the very first page to the last it was a real page-turner, could not put it down, had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I loved that it was a good clean read. It was short, simple to the point but pack with an amazing story. I have never been disappointed by this author and this book was very much the same you will not regret reading this quick read. My thoughts on the book:
Samantha has been running from the past and it seems that she's running home in hopes to run from the present danger. Zack could not believe his eyes when he walked up on Samantha he knows she's hiding something but he doesn't know what and he will stop at nothing to find out.
This book was so suspenseful and literally has you guessing from the beginning to the end. This is not part of a series but the other two book based in this area by the same author LAYERS OF TRUTH and EYE OF THE STORM seem like they all go perfect together. This one did not disappoint at all. I loved the compassion of Zack and I loved the strong independence of Sam, but also that she was willing to ask for help when she needed it. Each of the characters in this book, as well as the other two just seemed relatable and it made you feel like you were catching up with friends. This is a short read but well worth it, you can't go wrong. This is a good clean read which made the book that much more enjoyable.

Find out in this sequel to The Hawaiian Quilt from New York Times bestselling author Wanda E. Brunstetter, writing with her daughter-in-law Jean Brunstetter.
My thoughts on the book:
Ellen is morning the loss of her best friend and her job. But when she gets the one call the could shatter Mandy's life. Ellen jumps on the plane and sets out to help what she did expect was what and who she would meet and how it might change her life. Can she be there for her friend and also keep her Amish beliefs or will she leave the faith and stay in Hawaii?
I loved this book. I have read a few of Wanda's other books and she has a way of writing a story that has a ton of characters and it feels like you are really only following one or two. The story just flowed and was super fun and easy to follow. I like how the characters were faced with trials that seemed lifelike and nothing was held nothing back. I also enjoyed the lightheartedness of this story and how it was a good clean read for anyone. You really can't go wrong with this sweet love story.

Welcome to Angel Falls, a town so delightful even enemies can't help falling in love!
Angel Falls is the last place Sara Langdon wants to be. Her hometown may be charming, but it's also filled with memories of her "wedding-that-never-was." Yet Sara's grandmother needs her, and joining her dad at his medical practice gives Sara time to figure out what she wants for her future. But when her first patient turns out to be Colton Walker, the man who sabotaged her wedding, Sara starts to wonder if she'll ever be able to escape her past.
As police chief, Colton Walker is devoted to his small town, and he's equally determined to avoid its newest resident. He and Sara have always gotten along like oil and water, and since the bachelor party incident, he's her Enemy #1. But after sharing an unexpected--and unexpectedly hot--kiss, Colton starts to wonder if the woman he's always fighting with is the one he should be fighting for.
My thoughts on the book:
Sara has come home to help her Nonna who has dementia and now it seems to be getting worse. Her first time in the ER and she runs into the one person she truly hates. Colton heard she was back in town but seems like maybe avoiding each other would be best. But it seems that other forces might have options. Can they live in the same town and get along or will the past be to much?
I loved this book, I loved how nothing was held back. This is such a sweet love story. I can relate to Sara as having a family member who has dementia, that being said even if that's not the case the characters were so down to earth and I really felt like I could relate with any of them. I loved how the author had a way of getting to the heart and also had fun moments throughout. I loved Carmen she was just the constant icebreaker throughout and you truly never knew what was coming out of her mouth. This book does have some adult language/scenes but was a super fun read. I truly loved this book and I am not sure if this will become part of a series but if it does I can't wait for more.
You really can't go wrong with this amazing love story.

Mayor with a past
Faced with her son’s father!
Mayor Jean Matrim’s plan to turn Matrimony Valley into a wedding destination is going swimmingly for the town—and disastrously for Jean. Their first bride’s stepbrother is Jean’s ex-fiancé…and the father of her son. Hiding Jonah’s existence from Josh Tyler wasn’t something Jean chose lightly. More stands between them now than ever before. Will the little boy be enough to bring them together at last?
My thoughts on the book:
Jean will stop at nothing to save her hometown including creating a destination wedding spot. When her first client comes she never expected her ex-fiance to get out of the car. Josh came to Matrimony Valley to help his sister plan her wedding he just never to get the surprise of his life. Can they come together and work for a greater purpose or will the secret Jean's been keeping for the last 5 years be to much for Josh?
This seriously is such a sweet love story. I felt like Josh and Jean found love in the hurt. I loved the spirit of Jonah and how his sweet personality just shined off the pages. This story is not a perfect love story, but a story of finding hope, healing, and joy when you least expect it. This book did drag a little bit but overall it was such a fun book. This a good clean read and perfect. You cant go wrong with this book at all.

Billionaires, cowboys, and second chance romance collide in All Night with the Cowboy by Soraya Lane.
BACK IN THE SADDLE. STRAIGHT TO THE HEART. . .
At the Ford family ranch, getting thrown from a horse is a part of growing up. But one cowboy is still learning the ropes when it comes to falling in love.
Tanner Ford has been riding bulls and busting broncos his entire life. So when he takes a hard spill—and sustains serious injuries—he refuses to believe his rodeo days are behind him. He’s determined to restore his body and revive his career. There’s just one problem: the finest physical therapist in town just happens to be the only woman he’s ever loved.
Lauren Lewis knows she made a huge mistake when she walked away from Tanner. But she was young, ambitious, and focused on her medical career. Now, after all these years, Tanner’s back—and, in spite of his injuries, looking better than she allows herself to admit. She agrees to work on Tanner’s big bruised muscles until he’s back in bull-riding shape again. But how can Lauren resist the smoldering attraction between her and her old flame. . .and will she be able to live without him?
My thoughts on the book:
Tanner gets hurt doing what he loves and this time it seems his family wants him to retire but his sister sets everyone straight by booking a Physical therapist. Only the jokes on him and it seems the past has come back to haunt him. Lauren is set to spend her 30th birthday alone in Fuji. She's set to go when a Mia reaches out and ask for help and she agrees under one condition. Can she and Tanner enjoy the beautiful island of Fuji and get Tanner back to the bulls or will it all be too much for both of them?
I was not a huge fan of this book the relationship between Tanner and Lauren seemed forced. I really did enjoy Lauren and her sweet independent nature and how she could hold her own. I felt like Tanner's main goal was to get even no matter what he seemed almost hostile sometimes. I really could not stand him. There was strong adult language and scenes throughout. I felt like the book would have been way better without all the cursing. I found it a total turn off and hard to get into the story. Overall not the book for me.

In Sarah Price’s heartwarming Amish version of this best-loved fairytale, a hardworking, overlooked young woman is rewarded in unexpected ways . . .
“Be kind and have faith.” Ella Troyer strives to abide by her mother’s final words, although life in the small Amish town of Echo Creek isn’t always easy. Her new stepmother, Linda, treats her coldly, and her two stepsisters, Drusilla and Anna, delight in gossip and laziness. After her father’s death, Ella’s stepsisters are free to attend youth singings while Ella stays at home to manage the household chores, rarely seeing another soul. Until one day, while running an errand, she has a chance meeting with a young Amish man from a nearby town.
Drusilla and Anna are full of admiration for charming, affluent newcomer Johannes Wagler, and Linda hopes to ensnare him as a husband for one of her girls—while keeping Ella out of the way. As for Hannes, he longs to catch another glimpse of the mysterious young woman who can sing so sweetly andbake the most delicious pie he’s ever sampled. Now, with a little help from some unlikely sources, Ella dares to hope she might find her heart’s dearest wishes—for love, family, and a home of her own—coming true at last . . .
My thoughts on the book:
Ella Troyer is faced with losing her mom gaining a new family and then losing her dad. She is reminded of her mother's memory to always be kind and nice. As she faces helping her stepmom and siblings with everything, she catches a suitors eye can she do it all or will something have to give?
Every time I get my hands on Sarah’s book I just can’t put it down most nights reading late into the night and this was once again one of those books. I wanted to know what happened. I have read Sarah’s other book Belle and now this one and for whatever reason these books make me feel like I’m coming home. They are so good it makes you feel like your catching up with friends and the author has that way of just reaching through the pages to keep you interested and going from beginning to end. Seriously this book was amazing. I loved everything about it. The author kept it light but also with a lesson to be learned while reading this wonderful story. The author leaves you hungry both physically and spiritually.

A crumbling lighthouse is not part of the inheritance Army doctor Ben Garrison expects to claim when he journeys to Hope Harbor. Fresh out of the service, he wants only to unload the tower of bricks, decompress from years of treating battlefield trauma and prepare to launch his civilian career.Hope Harbor Herald editor Marci Weber has other ideas. And as they work together, might Hope Harbor heal the hearts of these two romance-wary souls?Bestselling author Irene Hannon invites readers back to their favorite town for a story that will light a beacon of hope within their hearts.
My thoughts on the book:
Ben comes back to Hope Harbor to close up his grandfather's estate. When his grandfather leaves him a lighthouse he now needs to stay to figure out what to do with it. Marci has been in Hope Harbor for two years and she loves her small town. When the landmark Lighthouse seems to be in danger of being bought and taken down. Can they come together for the greater reason for the town of Hope Harbor and the legacy of Skip or will it be to late?
I loved this book. I loved the fun characters, I mean you have "talking" seagulls," mind reading" taco man, priest, and pastor, I mean what really more can you expect but fun. I really enjoyed how the book sucks you in and you have a hard time putting the book down. The book has a small side story going on which was just as equally amazing. Description:
THE SECRET INGREDIENT FOR A HAPPY MARRIAGENora has always been the sister who binds the O'Bannons together. No matter what crisis hits, smart, dependable Nora knows how to fix it. But for Nora, the pressure of perfection is taking its toll.Nora's marriage is in trouble, and she has been reluctant to worry her sisters with just how dire her situation is. Now though, faced with losing her husband, her home, and the life she's worked so hard to build, Nora can no longer pretend. As the O'Bannon women rally around her, Nora begins to see that failure is nothing to fear. It's like they say in the bakery: if you want to make something good, you can't be afraid to get messy. When her husband returns, asking Nora to give their family a second chance, Nora must decide if their relationship can be saved or if it's time to throw out the old recipe and start from scratch.
My thoughts on the book:
Nora is the glue that kept her family together but when her life seems to come crashing down around her she's not sure where to turn and who to tell. So answering "I'm fine" seems like the best response when anyone asks if she's ok. Can she get her life back together and have the life she always dreamed of or is it time to say goodbye to the past and find a different future and dream?
I was not a huge fan of this book. A good majority of the book I found self-loathing to the point it was annoying and a bit depressing. I will say what I did enjoy about this book was Iris and Roger, Iris has this spirit about her that she is a fighter just needs that extra push. Roger, he will not stop at anything to help those who need help and to help those who he truly cares about. I did like how the author held nothing back in this book it dealt with some very tough subjects and she wasn't afraid to put it out there. This book does have some strong language minimal but it is there. I really also did enjoy Magpie shes just this free spirit who grows on you its hard not to love her.

She’s still drawn to Eli's protectiveness, even after so many years, but will he ever be able to look past their history? The Montana MerricksBook 1: The Bull Rider's RedemptionBook 2: The Rancher's Secret Son
My thoughts on the book:
Eli discovers he has a son, he's sixteen now and he will stop at nothing to be part of his son's life now. Piper can understand why Eli might be mad but how can he overstep her as a parent. First and foremost her son comes first and if she has to bump heads with Eli she will. Can they come together and work towards co-parenting for there son or will the past be in the forefront of there minds and be to much to overcome?
I really enjoyed this book I could not put it down. I loved reading more about Marrietta Montana and the Merrick brothers. Love stories are not always glitter and rainbows and that was the case with this love story. All the pain, anger and heartache were there just as much as the chemistry jumps off the pages. I loved how not only the author told Eli and Piper's story but she also shared the struggle's and story of Tristen. This book does have adult language and scenes in it. I loved how this book was a quick and easy read and you really can't put it down. You won't be disappointed.

Description:
When ninety-nine-year-old heiress Josephine Bettendorf Warrick summons Brooke Trappnell to Talisa Island, her 20,000 acre remote barrier island home, Brooke is puzzled. Everybody in the South has heard about the eccentric millionaire mistress of Talisa, but Brooke has never met her. Josephine’s cryptic note says she wants to discuss an important legal matter with Brooke, who is an attorney, but Brooke knows that Mrs. Warrick has long been a client of a prestigious Atlanta law firm.
Over a few meetings, the ailing Josephine spins a tale of old friendships, secrets, betrayal and a long-unsolved murder. She tells Brooke she is hiring her for two reasons: to protect her island and legacy from those who would despoil her land, and secondly, to help her make amends with the heirs of the long-dead women who were her closest friends, the girls of The High Tide Club—so named because of their youthful skinny-dipping escapades—Millie, Ruth and Varina. When Josephine dies with her secrets intact, Brooke is charged with contacting Josephine’s friends’ descendants and bringing them together on Talisa for a reunion of women who’ve actually never met.
The High Tide Club is Mary Kay Andrews at her Queen of the Beach Reads best, a compelling and witty tale of romance thwarted, friendships renewed, justice delivered, and true love found.
My thoughts on the book:
Josephine is sick and she calls Brooke for help. When Brooke gathers the people Jo has asked for things take a twist. Josephine has secrets and some she will take to her grave or so everyone thinks. When Brooke gets The High Tide Club members family in one area it may be more than any of them anticipated. Can everyone come together and find the answers they all seek?
When this book first started I had a hard time getting into it and when I realized how long it was I thought oh my this book will be the death of me. Then I thought this book was a Romance book boy was I fooled, (my fault didn't read the back) this book has so many twists and turns you don’t know what to expect next. However that quickly change, the story picked up and just started to come together. It draws you in, it has so really fun characters throughout and has you laughing when you least expect it, I did find the book dragging at some point then it would pick right back up leaving you wanting more or at least wondering what was happening next. I have so much respect and love for Varina her and Farrah were some of my favorites. But it was hard not to like a lot of the female characters. This book does have some cursing but overall is a really good book.
