Until You Jeannie Moon

What's the book about:

When newly divorced Kate Adams is approached on the sunny deck of a California hotel by hockey star David Burke, and he invites her to dinner, she almost says no. He’s obviously younger than her. And charming. And drop dead gorgeous. But there’s also something sweet about David, so Kate—who hasn’t done anything spontaneous in a very long time—accepts his invitation.
It is, after all, her fortieth birthday.
However, a real romance with thirty-year-old David, whose picture is in the gossip pages as often as it’s in the sports pages, is out of the question. No matter how much she wants him, it’s just too risky.
But meeting Kate has been David’s lightning strike. She’s the one for him, and he has no intention of giving up on her.
So while Kate guards her fragile heart, David sets out to win her over with the same determination that drives him on the ice.
And he’ll break every rule in the book if he has to

My thoughts on the book:

Kate is a hard working mom all she wants in life is whats best for her teenage daughter Laura. Kate goes to a conference in California to get away from life and try to start fresh and a new chapter. The only thing is Kate trust NO ONE other then her sister and her best friend Julie. Will she learn to start to trust to get to the new chapter she so desperately want to start off good?
David yummy hockey player about to hit a "mile stone" birthday is visiting California for the first away game of the season. He spots Kate and knows he has to talk to her and then ask her to dinner, the only thing is he thinks this will be easy and just like all the other girls. I mean is he really ever going to see her again?

I love this book. i love how the author wrote about so really tough subjects. At the beginning of the book my heart so just broke for Kate, by the end I was cheering for her, she was such a strong character and it was easy to really like her. At first I could not stand Richard or Laura and forget about Marie, but as the book went one you could really start to see Laura's heart and you wanted to cheer for her. This book will draw you in from the beginning of the book and with every page turn will find it hard to put down. At one point the author discuss Kate's book and I found my self wanting to read that book. This book seriously worth the read and you can not go wrong with it.

I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.
