“A brilliant writer you’ll love creates a world you’ll never want to leave.”—Susan Mallery, New York Times bestselling author

My thoughts on the book:

I love reading books by this author. She really has a way of drawing you into the story and keeping you there. I really liked the three cousins and I can’t wait to read more about Boone and Tucker. I really like Angelica she was like a kindred spirit all spit fire and sass but had a way of showing love while doing it. I was never a fan of Shanon even in the end I just didn’t like her I felt like she was a master manipulator and Jackson seemed to play into some. I liked how the author through a twist into the story I didn’t see coming it really felt like it added another element to the story and it definitely grabs your attention. I like that, over all this story was a good clean read and I can’t wait to see what the author was in store for these characters. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Description:
Sometimes life’s most magical journeys bring you back to where it all began…From New York Times bestselling author Emily March comes The Christmas Wishing Tree, an enchanting account of the magic and miracle of Christmas.
A man who loves adventure and the open sea, Devin Murphy returns for a short Christmas trip to his small hometown of Eternity Springs. When Devin proposes a daring plan to face down the danger together and defeat it once and for all, she is tempted. Maybe Devin really is capable of making wishes come true? Perhaps in a Christmas wish they’ll both find the miracle they’ve been looking for all along…
A delightful Christmas novel in the New York Times bestselling Eternity Springs series.

My thoughts on the book:

Devin comes home for the holidays to be home with family when he gets a phone call from a little boy  from a far and he wonders what more he can do to help this young man. Jenna is doing what she loves when a phone call from her son sends them to a small town in Colorado. Will Eternity Springs magic show in their lives or will they just be better off to continue to another journey?

I was so excited when I saw that another Eternity springs book was coming out. I love this little town and all the fun characters. When this book started it really started off strong and I had a hard time putting the book down. However I felt with such a big thing that was so prominent in Jenna's life kind of took a back seat half way through and then would pick up a little bit here and there. I was disappointed because I felt like in those moments the book dragged. I did enjoy the over all storyline I just wish it would have been constant through out. This book has very small amounts of adult language/situations. I also loved the fun "blizzard" twist in the book. (that is not giving anything away so don't worry). Over all if you have been reading the books about Eternity springs grab this book you won't be disappointed to catch up with these fun characters.

The First Kiss of Spring Emily March- Eternity Springs Series

Description:

Life could be a dream...
Goal-oriented and gorgeous, Caitlin Timberlake's dreams took her to the top of the corporate ladder in New York City. Now years later, her goals have changed. She wants to come home to Eternity Springs and build a business and a family of her own—with the new man in town. So what if sexy mechanic Josh Tarkington wants nothing more than a fling? Caitlin is a patient woman who knows how to work hard and strategize to win what she desires. She desires Josh. Unfortunately, he has other plans.
If only things were different...
Josh craves Caitlin and all she has to offer. However, he is a man with secrets. He has worked hard to overcome his tragic past, but he's afraid to risk having a future because he knows trouble is never very far away. When a selfless act brings that trouble to his door, he stands to lose everything he cares about—including Caitlin. Will her love and the healing magic of Eternity Springs be enough to save him?

My thoughts on the book:

Caitlin needs a break from the everyday big city and she feels like home is calling but she needs to make some decisions and break the news to her family. Her biggest worry is how they will take it. When she meets Josh it seems like there paths were meant to cross she just may need to convince him of that. Josh has some secrets very very deep secrets. When he meets Caitlin he's not ready for what she has to offer and also it seems that making a life altering decision brings his past right to his front door and the life he hoped to keep in the future. Can he survive this alter in his universe?

I really enjoy Emily March's style of writing, when you open a new book from her you never know what your going to get and what twist she's going to throw at you. In this book it was very much just that at first I was like wait what is going on but quickly realized that there was a new turn with every page and you needed to read it all to find out what was going on and the biggest reveal was yet to come. This book did deal with some very strong and tough subject and it worked so perfectly into the story. The story does have strong language and adult scenes. This story really did not disappoint at all and really sucks you in. I cant get enough of Eternity Springs and the fun and loving characters there. Hands down my favorite is Celeste and she did not disappoint in this book, if you haven't read any of the series don't be disappointed grab this one and you will only want more.

A Stardance Summer Emily March Eternity Springs series

Description:

Return to the beloved small town of Eternity Springs in the newest installment of Emily March’s New York Times bestselling series with A Stardance Summer.

Sometimes the end of one roadBrick Callahan enjoys every minute of chaos at his campground, Stardance Ranch, especially after the Tornado Alleycats arrive for an extended summer stay. The members of the all-female glamorous camping club are primarily seniors—active and adventurous, friendly and fun. But when he discovers Liliana Howe frolicking with the glamping grannies in a late night skinny-dipping session, he fears he's in for a summer of trouble. Because his best friend's kid sister has grown up to be drop-dead gorgeous.
. . .is the start of another
Betrayed by those she trusted, Lili decides she's put her career first for too long. She sells her practical sedan, buys a travel trailer, and heads to Eternity Springs for a summer of rest, relaxation, and reassessment as the newest member of the Alleycats. The last person she expects to find running an RV resort is her high school crush. Their undeniable mutual attraction is a reminder that life is full of surprises. But when the past comes calling, will their summer romance stand the test of time?

My thoughts on the book:
Lili has hit a rough spot in her career and in her life when she reaches out to those close and doesn't get the response she expected she knows its time to take a break from reality and find herself. Will this adventure with the Alleycats lead to the answers she is seeking or will it leave her lost and wanting more? Brick is on the mend of a broken heart. He has opened his own Glamping/camping and it seems the popular spot he's in a good place with his family and his friends but he wants just a little bit more and he's not sure what that looks like. When the Alleycats take over his campground for the summer he comes face to face with a person from his past he starts to question everyone. Will he find the healing he needs or is he better off alone?
I love these books by Emily March and this book did not disappoint. This book has a bunch of nosey matchmakers who just so happen to be grandma's out enjoying retirement and the summer. I didn't know my grandma but I would think we would all want grandmas like them. I really loved how even though there were a bunch of people interacting with main characters the author didn't feel the need to name them all and make it confusing and hard to keep up, it made the story easy to follow yet added a fun element to the story. I enjoyed the family element in the story as well it made you want to meet them all and hang out with them. It truly made you feel like these characters were friends and family, not just a fictional story. There is a few curse words and the mention of adult scenes in the book so it may not be suitable for all ages, but this book was a super fun read. I think the only thing I didn't like was I wanted more about Patsy in the end. I hope Josh's story is coming he was a huge part of this story and I wanted to know more of his story.

5a. One a Ring and a Prayer,
5b. Be my Valentino,
5c. From Bags to Riches

5a. Twelve years of marriage, 4,000 square feet of dream house, and a handsome husband. Jessie Stanton has it all… until one fateful afternoon when she notices her BMW bouncing by the window behind a tow truck. Her husband has gone, and he’s taken it all. The whirling tornado that cuts down the life she’s built drops Jessie onto the sandy beach of Malibu with a thud, penniless and alone. When all she’s left with are the designer labels in her closet and the dreamy Neil Lane rock on her finger, Jessie tries to make ends meet by pawning her prized ring to fund a new business venture: a small shop where her designer duds and shimmering accessories are temporarily leased out to Southern California women with champagne tastes but root beer realities. As Jessie tries to rebuild, she realizes she can’t move on, not without answers. Reluctantly, Jessie turns to beach bum/private investigator Danny Callahan for help. But is she staking her future success and happiness…on a ring and a prayer?

5b. Now that the whole truth has come out about her husband’s double life—including the fact that she and Jack were never legally married—Jessie is standing on her own for the first time in her life. As she struggles to put Adornments, her rental store for designer labels, on the map in Tinsel Town, her relationship with private investigator Danny Callahan gains momentum. When she dresses a reluctant Danny in Valentino for undercover work at a formal affair, it’s him rather than her store that captures Hollywood’s notice. Danny, snapped by photogs, lands as the unlikely cover model on the front of L.A. Magazine. So much for inconspicuous. Will his popularity thwart her efforts to grow her business? Or worse, can Jessie afford to put her faith—and heart—into another relationship when she’s so obviously handicapped in the good judgment department?

5c. Jessie Hart worked so hard to put her Louisiana roots in the rearview mirror and her Adornments boutique on the map. So when renegade “husband” Jack turns up again, the new and improved Jessie catches his attention. As he fights through his residual legal battles, he makes every effort to win her back and marry her for real this time... before Danny gets the chance.
When a celebrity stylist with her own reality show makes Adornments a hot spot, Jessie’s hard work is finally paying off. But amid award shows and photo shoots, Jessie’s beloved grandfather is diagnosed with cancer and she’s nudged back to the Louisiana roots she worked so hard to escape. Now, in her quest to find the success, true love, and faith that has always eluded her, will God really lead her right back home?

So since this is my blog, I decided to count these three books as one. I feel in love with this series so you really can't read one with out the other and I hope you enjoy this group as much as I did. Super clean books with some laughs and tears. Check out Sandra on Facebook or purchase this group of books at Amazon.com also why your there check out her other Emma Rae series you will be laughing till you are crying.

6. Montana Skies Mary Alford

  • Cara Stevens is finally coming back home to Cartwright, Montana. But will she find the place she longs from her childhood or a past without hope. Since Cara left Cartwright a little more than a year earlier, not much has changed. Except her life is in shambles, her heart broken and the man she thought she had left behind is standing before her claiming to be a changed man.

This book is was short and sweet. While this book a love story this book is not from a place of frills but both people are coming from a place of brokenness and trying to move into a healing place. I just enjoyed that alone. Check out Mary on her website and you can purchase this book at Amazon.com.

7.Wedding Date Kelly Eadon
  • Kate Massie has big dreams-they just haven't worked out. Yet. In the meantime, she spends her days clerking for a judge and her nights fantasizing about her tall, dark, and sexy gym crush. So when she runs into him one night, she's shocked to realize he was her shy, nerdy junior-prom date. But that isn't where the surprises end . . .   James Abell needs a date to his sister's wedding. So when Kate agrees, he's relieved . . . until one little lie turns their wedding date into a full-blown fake relationship. Only it doesn't feel fake-not the toe-curling kisses and definitely not the electricity. Neither of them is looking for something real . . . but they just might fall for their own little white lie.
While this book has some strong language I loved these fun and crazy characters it had me laughing at there antics and the fun crazy ideas that are up to. I believe this is Kelly's first book I know its a first for me and I can't wait to read more from her. Check her out on her website and go purchase this book at Amazon.com.

8. Sense and Sensibility Sarah Price
  • Henry Detweiler dies unexpectedly, leaving his second wife and three daughters, Eleanor, Mary Ann, and Maggie, in the care of John, his oldest son from a previous marriage. John and his wife, Fanny, inherit the farm and, despite a deathbed promise to take care of their stepmother and half-sisters, John and Fanny make it obvious that Mrs. Detweiler and her daughters are not welcomed at the farm. When Edwin Fischer, Fanny’s older brother, takes notice of Eleanor and begins to court her, much to the disapproval of his sister, Fanny makes life even more difficult for the Detweiler women.  In their new home, Eleanor wonders if Edwin will come calling while Mary Ann catches the attention of Christian Bechtler, an older bachelor in the church district, and John Willis, a younger man set to inherit a nearby farm. While Eleanor quietly pines for Edwin, Mary Ann does not hide her infatuation with John Willis. When the marriage proposal from John Willis does not materialize, Mary Ann is left grief-stricken and humiliated as the Amish community begins to gossip about their relationship. In the meantime, a broken-hearted Eleanor learns that Edwin is engaged to another woman. Will admitting her affections for him result in the marriage proposal Eleanor has always desired?
I just love me a good amish book but this one did not disappoint at all in fact the night I finished it I went and got 3 more from this author. This group of book is call the Jane Austin books and while I have never read Jane Austin I really enjoy this book and can't wait to read an review the others this summer. Check out Sarah on Facebook where she is super active with her readers. You can buy this book and all her others at Amazon.com

9. Deadlock Diann Mills
  • Two murders have rocked the city of Houston. Are they the work of a serial killer, or is a copycat trying to get away with murder?  That is the question facing Special Agent Bethany Sanchez, who is eager for her new assignment in violent crimes but anxious about meeting her new partner. Special Agent Thatcher Graves once arrested her brother, and he has a reputation for being a maverick. Plus, their investigative styles couldn’t be more opposite: he operates on instinct, while she goes by the book.  When hot leads soon fizzle out, their differences threaten to leave them deadlocked. But an attempt on their lives turns up the heat and brings them closer together, and a third victim might yield the clue that will help them zero in on a killer. This could be the case of their careers . . . if they can survive long enough to solve it.

While this is part of a series you won't regret reading all of them, the first two are on the edge of your seat while this one was not it still keeps you going to the end. It does draw you in and you keep wanting to know what happens. Check out Diann and her books on her website you can purchase this series at Amazon.com.

10. Traces of Guilt
A Riveting Cold-Case Mystery from Dee Henderson
  • Evie Blackwell loves her life as an Illinois State Police detective . . . mostly. She's very skilled at investigations and has steadily moved up through the ranks. She would like to find Mr. Right, but she has a hard time imagining how marriage could work, considering the demands of her job. Gabriel Thane is a lifetime resident of Carin County and now its sheriff, a job he loves. Gabe is committed to upholding the law and cares deeply for the residents he's sworn to protect. He too would like to find a lifetime companion, a marriage like his parents have. When Evie arrives in Carin, Illinois, it's to help launch a new task force dedicated to reexamining unsolved crimes across the state. Spearheading this trial run, Evie will work with the sheriff's department on a couple of its most troubling missing-persons cases. Evie's determined to solve the cases before she leaves Carin County, and Sheriff Thane, along with his family, will be key to those answers.

Reunion Pass Emily March

What's the book about:

Six years ago, Chase Timberlake bought an engagement ring for his high school sweetheart Lori Reese. Then...life happened. Chase’s adventure photography career took off, Lori’s dream of getting into veterinary school came true, and their happily ever after never came to pass.
When Chase’s jet-setting life takes a tragic turn, he returns to Eternity Springs a damaged man. Who better to help mend his spirit than the woman who has dedicated her life to healing broken wings? Long summer days spent together rekindles the love that never died and Chase dares to dream of a future he’d thought lost. But Lori can’t help but wonder whether this high-flying man really wants a small-town girl with roots sunk deep into the Colorado Rockies. Can she and Chase turn back the hands of time and pick up where they left off—and give forever a chance?

My thoughts on the book:
Six years ago Chase and Lori let life get away from them and separate what was a good thing. Now Lori has finished school and started her on vet clinic when Chase comes to town with his now fiancé and she now knows all the hope of getting back together is gone. When tragedy strikes and bring Chase home he pushes everyone away that matters and knows he needs to get out of this town before he drags more people down with him. He just can't seem to let go of the small town where he feels like home. With Lori's roots dug deep and Chase only on the surface will Lori be able to help Chase or will it all be to late.
I found this book addictive and hard to put down, had to keep turning pages just to find out what happens. Such a sweet love story that will keep you on the edge of your seat and leaving wanting more. It reminds you to always live life to the fullest cause you never know what tomorrow holds. There is nothing about this book I did not like such a sweet and powerful book totally enjoyable. If you are looking to be sucked into a small town with some wonderful funny characters that feel like you are going home then this is the book for you and you won't regret it.
