Grave Peril Mary Alford-

Description:
Mountain Ambush
Reunions can be deadly
Jamie Hendricks always believed her late father was innocent of murder…and now her uncle claims to have proof. But when she arrives in her hometown, her uncle has vanished—and someone wants her dead. Jamie’s ex-boyfriend, CIA agent Gavin Dalton, is the only person she trusts…even if he believes her dad killed his father. But can he help her uncover a deadly conspiracy that goes deeper than anyone expected?

My thoughts on the book:

This book was really good, and it does not disappoint. The story is almost like a game of hide and seek, Jamie and Gavin are trying to find her uncle but they are not the only ones an now those same people seem to be after them. So you can imagine the excitement and the twist and turns the author throws it truly is a page turner and you find it hard to put down. It was like you just need too know whats going to happen next. I loved Jamie and her big heart and the healing that Gavin needs and how no matter what happened in the past they both kept fighting. This book was certainly one you will not regret reading.

All Ethan Miller wants for Christmas is to celebrate in Bramble, Texas, with family and friends. But when his childhood neighbor comes home for the holiday, Ethan realizes that the girl-next-door could be the girl of his dreams.

My thoughts on the book:

A women with sass, a gun and a sassy nieces to boot and a hot cowboy comes to the rescue what more could you ask for and what could go wrong. This story was a super fun read. I loved how the way the author wrote the story made the way that things played out was very organic and not rushed. I loved that she took two really strong willed and people and let things just play out the way they lie. I  really enjoyed Zaylie she really brought so much to this story and you find yourself laughing a lot. This story does have adult situations but over all I could not see any piece of this story missing everything just seem to work and seemed to fit. I have not read the first book in the series but I am so going to grab it I can't wait to see where the author takes the characters in the next book. I would totally recommend this book it was so fun and one of the sweetest loves stories.

But his plans get derailed when he learns he's now half-owner of the Sweetwater B&B. The fact that he's given only two months to make the inn a success is a huge problem, but it's his pretty-and incredibly headstrong-partner who's the real challenge. With the holiday fast approaching and a grand re-opening looming, will Mitch keep running from the ghosts of Christmas past . . . or will he realize the true gift he's been given?

Includes the bonus short story "Midnight Clear" by Hope Ramsay!

My thoughts on the book:

When I saw this book all over social media I knew I wanted to read this book and one thing I wasn't sure of if it would live up to all the hype. Well I was not disappointed it completely lived up to the hype I fell in love with this book. I have never read anything by this author and to be honest I can't wait to read more. I loved the small town of Sweetwater Springs and it seemed like one of those towns you just want to go visit, total small town America for sure. I loved the heart of the story and I loved how in the end you want to follow up with some many more characters wondering whats happening in there lives as well. I felt this book was a quick read even though its a larger book. I will also say that in this book it does imply adult situations but over all this is a good clean read which was completely refreshing. If you have never read or even if you have by Annie Rains grab this book you will not be disappoint at all totally worth the read and it will totally put you into the Christmas spirit.

Perhaps in a Christmas wish they’ll both find the miracle they’ve been looking for all along…
A delightful Christmas novel in the New York Times bestselling Eternity Springs series.

My thoughts on the book:

Devin comes home for the holidays to be home with family when he gets a phone call from a little boy  from a far and he wonders what more he can do to help this young man. Jenna is doing what she loves when a phone call from her son sends them to a small town in Colorado. Will Eternity Springs magic show in their lives or will they just be better off to continue to another journey?

I was so excited when I saw that another Eternity springs book was coming out. I love this little town and all the fun characters. When this book started it really started off strong and I had a hard time putting the book down. However I felt with such a big thing that was so prominent in Jenna's life kind of took a back seat half way through and then would pick up a little bit here and there. I was disappointed because I felt like in those moments the book dragged. I did enjoy the over all storyline I just wish it would have been constant through out. This book has very small amounts of adult language/situations. I also loved the fun "blizzard" twist in the book. (that is not giving anything away so don't worry). Over all if you have been reading the books about Eternity springs grab this book you won't be disappointed to catch up with these fun characters.

The Rodeo Cowboy's Baby Heidi Rice- The 79th Cooper Mountain Rodeo #5

Description:

What happens at the rodeo… Doesn’t always stay at the rodeo!

A year after her marriage has crashed and burned–along with her dreams of becoming a mother–Irish newspaper columnist, Evie Donnelly, is not impressed with her editor’s suggestion she head down to Marietta to find some ‘new meat’ for her dating column. With her confidence as a woman at an all-time low, surely the last thing she needs is to risk hooking up with a rodeo cowboy?

Despite a troubled past as a foster kid, call roping champion Flynn is a man who adores women. Maybe he doesn’t do commitment, but he does do good times and he is only too happy to help when he discovers a smart, funny and beautiful but undeniably fragile woman behind Evie’s tough exterior who is in desperate need of his own personal brand of sexual healing.

But when the rodeo is over, Evie and Flynn can’t forget those three stolen nights together in Marietta–especially when their wild, wonderful ride turns out to have even more unforgettable consequences.

My thoughts on the book:

I have never read anything by this author and seriously I want to go grab another book from her if they are all like this. She has a way of getting to the heart of the matter and that was very much through out this book. My heart broke for Evie she has such and amazing story. I can also say once Flynn told his story I could see why the author wrote these two characters so perfectly, just two broken souls each searching for something but not wanting to much from either. I will say that since I have read Flynn's story I want too read his siblings stories in hopes that they too find there happily ever afters. This book ended the series perfectly it totally summed up all the other books and in the end if left me wanting so much more and also I fell in love with the characters all over again. The book does have strong and adult language and scenes.

THERE BACK!!!!! The twins and there families are back and celebrating Christmas in this book. Some books have a way of making you feel like you are coming home, this book is one of those books for me. I really enjoy reading about the Monroe twins and what craziness they are up too. I loved how the author included more of Harlyn, in fact I hope she gets her book in the future. I really enjoyed reading more about Leilani she has a good head on her shoulder and she also has such a fun and large personality it comes off the pages and she fits with the sisters perfectly. I am not sure if this is the last of the series but I am so sad to see it end if so. Seriously if you have not read this series grab them all you will not be disappointed. Such a quick and amazing read.

The Cowboy's Last Rodeo Jeannie Watt- The 79th Cooper Mountain Rodeo #4

Description:

Shane Marvell's career as a rodeo rider is ending far too soon. He doesn’t have a plan B, so during his last season, he’s all in, determined to win as much prize money as possible--even if it means riding injured and taking more risks than he should.

Ella Etxeberri has always played it safe, so when her life still takes a bad turn despite her caution, she wonders if it isn’t time to see what she’s been missing. While researching risk behaviors in rodeo riders, she meets Shane Marvell, a cowboy who merits additional study of the personal variety.

Just as Ella is hitting the point to embrace risk, Shane is pulling back. He knows Ella’s all-in approach is born of curiosity and whim. He’s not what she wants forever, and perhaps Ella is one risk he can't allow himself to take.

My thoughts on the book:

Ella sets out too make a name away from her family and finding herself, so she sets off on an adventure. Shane has one more season to prove himself because he has too retire. So he's out healing his body and his heart. Can Ella and Shane have one more bang of an adventure?

For most of this book I felt like this should have been the first book in the series, it seems to really lead up to the 79th Rodeo so unlike the other books in the series it did not coincide with the rodeo. However towards the end of the book it does mention big points from the other books in the first part of this series, so be for warned and it does also catch up with the Copper Mountain rodeo.
I really also enjoyed how Ella was this strong independent person yet still trying to find herself.  I also like how this wasn't necessarily one person chasing the other but both chasing a dream and trying to find out what they wanted to do when they "grow up". I however felt like some parts of the book did dragged and the book did start off a little slow. The book does have adult language and situations but overall as I have read every book so far in this series I would recommend this book as it seems to tie things together and makes the other books make more sense.
