Includes the bonus novel Then There Was You by Miranda Liasson!  Angel Falls is the perfect small town for falling in love. But that's the last thing on Dr. Sara Langdon's mind as she returns home. But when her first patient turns out to be her first-crush-turned-nemesis Colton Walker, Sara starts wondering if home really is where the heart is....
My thoughts on the book:

Story 1:
The town comes together to help one person in need every year no matter what the person faces they will help. We need more of this in our world. I loved the community as a whole in this book. Alex was on this journey to solve a cold case so it add a mystery to the story which was fun. However I did find the story quite predictable, I wish there would have been a little more keeps you guessing going on in the story. The story over all was a good clean read and was a quick read for sure. I loved Grandma Baker hands down one of my favorite characters she has a way of speaking her mind in the most loving way and still getting her point access. I would say over all this book was worth the read and puts you in the Christmas spirit.

Story 2:
I loved this book, I loved how nothing was held back. This is such a sweet love story. I can relate to Sara as having a family member who has dementia, that being said even if that's not the case the characters were so down to earth and I really felt like I could relate with any of them.  I loved how the author had a way of getting to the heart and also had fun moments throughout. I loved Carmen she was just the constant icebreaker throughout and you truly never knew what was coming out of her mouth. This book does have some adult language/scenes but was a super fun read. I truly loved this book and I am not sure if this will become part of a series but if it does I can't wait for more.
You really can't go wrong with this amazing love story.
I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley, I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion.

Strands of Truth Colleen Coble

Description:
Suspense, romance, and generational secrets meld in this engrossing new novel from USA TODAY bestselling author Colleen Coble.

Strands of Harper Taylor’s childhood are resurfacing—but will the truth save her . . . or pull her under?

Harper Taylor is used to being alone— after all, she grew up in one foster home after another. Oliver Jackson finally took her under his wing when she was a runaway teenager, and now Harper pours her marine biology knowledge into Oliver’s pen shell research. But she’s never stopped wishing for a family of her own.

So when a DNA test reveals a half-sister living just two hours away, Harper is both hopeful and nervous. Over warm cinnamon rolls, Harper and Annabelle find striking similarities in their stories. Is it just a coincidence that both their mothers died tragically, without revealing Harper and Annabelle’s father’s name?

Oliver’s son Ridge still sees Harper as a troubled teen even all these years later. But when Oliver is attacked, Ridge and Harper find themselves working together to uncover dangerous secrets that threaten to destroy them all. They must unravel her past before they can have any hope for the future.

Suspense, romance, and generational secrets meld in this engrossing new novel from USA TODAY bestselling author Colleen Coble.

My thoughts on the book:

This book was so intense right off the bat there wasn't a thing to loose. This book draws you in from page one and leaves you guessing all the way to the very end. You think you figure it out and then the author throws a wrench into it and makes you second guess if you are right. I really loved Harper my heart broke for her while her childhood stands true for so many in our world it was almost like she was right there in person telling you her story. I loved Ridge he had his guard up but he wasn't a jerk you wanted to punch each thing he did and faced you kind of understood why so you felt for him as well. I wish the author would have end the book with a follow up on some of the characters kind of makes me wonder what happened with a few of the big key players in the book. I had a love hate relationship with Willow but I would love to know more of her story. Over all this book was amazing, clean read. If you are looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your toes this book will not disappoint. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Rescued by the Perfect Cowboy Melinda Curtis

Description:

he took a chance on love

French lessons and bookish pursuits give way to riding and roping. And scholarly Sophie falls hard for the strong, practical cowboy. Until Zeke reveals a secret that may prevent this temporary posse from becoming a permanent family.

My thoughts on the book:

I love this series, Every time the author releases a new book for this series and I get a chance to grab it and read it I am never disappointed. It truly feels like I am coming home or even catching up with friends. The author took a group of stuck up people and made them feel normal average people. I loved how Sophie had to truly find who she was and everything she new life to be was questioned. I loved how Zeke had to reach into his own life and show those around him who he was in order to find who he was. (don't worry I am not giving away anything with those statements) I really so badly want to read Shane's story he made quite an appearance in this one being Sophie's twin and each time he does make an appearance in a book I want to know more and more about him. I loved how the author kept the story line going with so many characters yet kept bring the focus back to Sophie and Zeke that I did not feel like there was to much going on. Really fun read and a total clean read which is nice so that its suitable for all readers. I received an advance copy of this book and I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion.

Recovered Secrets Jessica R Patch

Description:

A blank memory. A new life.

But her borrowed time just ran out

And while search-and-rescue director Hollis Montgomery’s determined to protect her, the secrets of her past are darker than they expected. Can the bond between Grace and Hollis survive her true identity…and an assassin?

My thoughts on the book:

I could not put this book down, I had to but it was 4 in the morning by the time I got there. This books so stinking good. The author literally draws you in and keeps the pace of the book going from beginning to end. I loved how Grace was named Grace, because after everything she faced she still was given grace and loved by some many and God included. I loved Hollis he hands down was my favorite. The other thing I really liked is the way the author described what was happening I felt like I was right there and I could picture what was happening. There were so many more things I really liked but I don't want to give anything away. I will say that in the end there is a huge surprise that I was not expecting. Grab this book you will not regret this amazing read. I received an advance copy from the publisher. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion.

Chasing the Runaway Bride Susan Meier, Donovan Brothers #2

Description:

When Marine-turned-rancher, Cade Donovan, inherits his grandfather’s grocery store, he has no choice except to return home. A couple problems with that:

1) The small, gossiping town still doesn’t know the real reason Cade left twelve years ago.

2) For some reason, his grandfather added an unexpected detail to the will – Cade has to share ownership with Piper O’Riley.

The O’Rileys and the Donovans have been at each other’s throats ever since Cade’s grandfather won the store in a poker game. And now Cade has to share his inheritance with the enemy? The gorgeous, tempting, all-grown-up enemy...

After ditching two fiancés at the altar, Piper’s earned a reputation as the town’s runaway bride. Ironically, Piper is woefully inexperienced with men. Her attraction to Cade and working side-by-side with him is torture. By day, it’s non-stop-bickering, but at night, she can’t stop imagining all the delicious things Cade could teach her.

With the family grudge and the secret of why Cade really left town between them, there’s no way they could ever be together. Right?

The Donovan Brothers series is best enjoyed in order.
Reading Order:
Book #1 Her Summer with the Marine
Book #2 Chasing the Runaway Bride
Book #3 Head Over Heels for the Boss

My thoughts on the book:

This book was a fun read kind of original in a round about way. The storyline is really good keeps your attention and draws you in. Piper at first seems to be this wallflower who is trying to stay behind the scenes because she has had enough gossip about her. However you almost see her grow with in the pages which was refreshing in away, she lets her stubborn side show in the beginning and that is something that's through out. Cade, he is just plain cocky I wasn't sure about him at first but he really does grow on you as you read the story. I loved the small town, the crazy characters and the gossip just sums up about every small town there ever is. I loved how close the brothers are an how they will not stop at anything to protect those they love. This book has sex scenes in it so it may not be suitable for all. Overall I felt this was a fun quick read and well worth it. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Off the Market Audrey Wick (Texas BBQ Brothers, #2)

Description:

Can the man who saved the day win her heart?

Quinn LaFayette is in her inaugural year as library special programs director of Last Stand, but when the kickoff performance for the children’s summer program goes terribly wrong, she has to save face as well as her job. She has a surprise advocate in Cole, whom she did her best to ignore in school. Seven years has only made Cole more appealing, but Quinn is determined to resist the sparks that fly between them because they are too different.

Restaurant owner Cole Hutchinson is no bookworm, but thanks to his fast-thinking antics, he ends up saving the day at the library and earning Quinn’s praise in the process. He’s tempted to seek more, but he’s juggling plenty of female attention from gracing the June edition of Modern Texas magazine featuring barbeque. Cole’s not interested in revisiting a woman from his past, but there’s something about Quinn that he can’t quite ignore.

Can Cole prove that opposites really do attract?

My thoughts on the book:

I was so happy to get my hand on this book after reading the first book in the series. The brothers are back and they are still "fighting" on who's right in the battle of business, they have that love, hate relationship most siblings have.... I really was glad to get to read Cole's story and what a big heart he had. I loved Quinn and her feistiness yet her heart of gold for all things books and kids. The author leaves you hungry for both food and for more in the end that's for sure. I liked how in both books in the series the author added her perusal touch of recipes you read about in the book. I loved that this story was a clean read and suitable for all. This book was truly one you feel like you are catching up with friends and you can't wait to see what's happening next. Grab this quick read you won't regret it. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion
