Tease Me Cowboy Rachael Johns

What's the book about:
Selah Davis loves her life as a journalist in Seattle (or so she says) but on a rare trip home to Marietta to cover the Copper Mountain Rodeo, she confesses to her best friends over drinks that her one regret in life is not sleeping with her high school boyfriend, Levi Monroe. Into the bar walks Levi, also home for the rodeo. When her friends dare her to proposition him for a one night stand, she's at first appalled...but the more she thinks about remedying her one regret, the less she can get him and their electric chemistry out of her head. Selah's always been her parents' good daughter. Would it hurt for just one night to be a little bad?

Levi Monroe is ready to settle back in Marietta and start his own rodeo school teaching others the techniques that have made him a star. He doesn't want any distractions during his last rodeo where he aims to win All Around Cowboy, but when his high school sweetheart - the one woman he's never been able to forget - comes along and offers to rewrite their history, it might just be an offer too good to refuse.
My thoughts on the book:
This book was a short read but packed with a lot of fun, and yummy romance. The storyline draws you in and keeps you all the way to the end. The book is steamy, but has a fun story and it not just your traditional Romance. I love a good Cowboy book and this is one of them I can't wait to read more but Rachael.

The Amish Clockmaker Mindy Starns Clark and Susan Meissner

What's the book about:
Newlywed Matthew Zook is expanding his family’s tack and feed store when a surprising property dispute puts the remodel on hold—and raises new questions about the location’s mysterious past.

Decades earlier, the same building housed a clock shop run by a young Amish clockmaker named Clayton Raber. Known for his hot temper, Clayton was arrested for the murder of his beloved wife, a crime almost everyone—including his own family members—believed he’d committed, even after charges were dropped. Isolated and feeling condemned by all, Clayton eventually broke from the church, left Lancaster County, and was never heard from again.

Now the only way Matthew can solve the boundary issue and save his family’s business is to track down the clockmaker. But does this put Matthew on the trail of a murderer?
A timeless novel of truth, commitment, and the power of enduring love, where secrets of the past give way to hope for the future

My thoughts on the book:
Its a race against time, money, and technolgy or is it? As Matthew starts a future for his family he has one thing in mind honoring his grandfathers wish, but also honoring what God wants to. Matthew has the simple life in the Amish community, he has family, a wonderful wife, and a new adventure. What he did not expect was that the new adventure would take him and Amanda place neither of them thought they would go. There are three parts to the book in one part you have Matthews and Amanda as they start this journey to uncover some hidden secrets in the community.

Then in part two you have Clayton and his story and his free spirit Miriam. Miriam has plans she wants and shiny things she is ready to go after. Clayton wants to be where he is at and he pines for someone to love him for him. He wants to love like Christ loves us with his every bien. He his faced with so many challenges he is not sure what God is doing or where he is suppose to be in his life. Is he making chooses because he wants them or is he walking through doors God is opening.

In part three it really sums the book up I don't want to go into to much detail because I don't want to give away to much of the last part of the book. I will say this I had a had time putting this book down, and I had a lot of WOW I did not see the coming moments. You will want to grab some tissues cause you are going to need them.

stories are best told sitting down!!!

Stay with me Sharla Lovelace

What's the book about:
Ian was the wild boy every girl dreams of, a renegade who thrived on breaking the law and setting Savi’s body on fire. It was all fun and games and hot excitement, no strings attached, until the one day he got serious—and then disappeared without a trace.
Savi has spent the ten years since committing herself to her work, her daughter, and to not thinking about Ian—or love. Just when it’s possible she might have found the one man who can change her mind, Ian pulls into town, bringing with him all of the lust, danger, and excitement Savi remembers.
As Ian stirs up old feelings and draws Savi back into memories and passion she’s too weak to fight, he’s also digging up dirt on the man Savi is falling for, doing everything he can to prove that Duncan is not who he seems to be. And Savi, unsure whether she can trust either man, will be forced to decide between rekindling a love that never really burned out and building a new one that looks ready to catch fire.
My thoughts on the book:

The only thing missing was an epilogue. I absolutely adored this book There is a well-crafted secondary storyline intertwined with the love triangle which completely held my interest. Cant wait to read more from Sharla. Amazing book!!!

His sister insists that their brother is acting under duress, and Trey’s loyalties are divided between his family and his client.

My thoughts on the book:
Ok so I have to say hands down one of my favorite Novellas. I read the first book and it was really good. This book and the first one are not long in length but do not lack in an amazing storyline. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end. The end is really not what I expected, its so much better. I can honestly say that if you are looking for a short read with a lot of action with a little bit of romance that you will not want to put down this is your book.

Caught in the Act (The Davenports #2) Kim Law

What's the book about:
Catherine Davenport Carlton needs a break. After dedicating her life to her political-minded family, shocking scandals from the past have shaken her to her core. Summer in the quiet town of Dyersport, Maine, is just what she needs, especially with a super-hot neighbor right next door…who’s none other than Brody Hollister, the boy she fell in love with as a teen. Cat wants nothing more than to pick up right where they left off eighteen years ago, but she’s still haunted by a terrible secret that could devastate Brody.

Brody Hollister spent years pining over Cat Davenport. They met young and loved passionately—until she disappeared from his life. Now she’s back, as spirited and beautiful as ever. But while Brody is determined to help Cat free herself from her family’s drama, his own family may be hiding something that could ruin their rekindled romance for good.

In Book Two of the Davenports romance series, sex and politics collide…with passionate results.
My thoughts on the book:

Catherine (Cat) loses her husband four years ago and she is ready to find herself again. So off to “vacation” she goes, she heads to Maine to where her family vacationed when she was younger. She loves everything about Maine it feels like coming home, all but one thing.

She is renting a beach house and every morning to spies on her really hot neighbor while he is out for his run. Only Brody wants to know why Cat is back and what happened all that time ago.  Brody has worked really hard to become the person he is and avoid certain family members who may make him or break him. This book starts off slow for me I had a hard time really getting into it at first but once the book picks up about a third way through it becomes a book that is hard to put down. I will say there are some slow points in the book again but overall the book keeps your attention and leaves you wanting more. This book has some strong language but for the most part, it’s quite mild and doesn’t overwhelm. This book is well worth the read.

Intensive Care Nicki Edwards

What's the book about:
On the surface it looks like busy intensive care nurse Kate Kennedy has it all: a long-term relationship, a great career and a sleek inner city apartment. But appearances are deceiving, and in one fell swoop everything comes crashing down around her. In a moment of spontaneity, Kate leaves her city life and takes a new role as Nurse Unit Manager at Birrangulla Base Hospital, but her dream move proves harder than expected.

Local café owner Joel O'Connor finds himself increasingly drawn to the gorgeous new nurse, but like Kate, he's been scarred by love and isn't looking to jump into anything. Yet their chemistry is hard to deny and after a near fatal incident, Joel and Kate find themselves opening up to one another.

Just when Kate thinks she's found love again, their fragile relationship is thwarted by their pasts. Can they both let go of their guilt and grief to move on to a bright new future?
My thoughts on the book:

This book is based in Australia it really make you want to visit and see the beauty that is described in the book. In the book Kate seems to have everything going for her, she is a nurse and she loves her job she has great family and friends and a boyfriend who she is madly in love with.  When she gets a shock of her life her first thing to do is run. She runs for anything and everything that seems not familiar. She meets Joel and becomes friends with him he is hide a secret and he to in his heart and mind is running from something, but doesn’t seem to realize it until Kate falls into his world.

I will stay this I wish the book had to prospective from it not just one (back and forth between what the guy was thinking to what the girl was thinking). At the beginning I felt like it seem a little all over the place, however that quickly changed. The book keeps you guessing and you really do find yourself drawn in and wanting to know what’s going to happen and what’s happening. I love how the book had a lot of heart and that the storyline over all was really good and well written. This book will not disappoint at some point I thought the book was winding down only to have a curve ball thrown in. If you are looking for a really cute love story with a little bit of action this is the one for you, you won’t regret it. I hope there are more to come this is one author I want to read more from.

Nobody's Cowboy Big Sky Mavericks Debra Salonen

What's the book about:
Austen Zabrinski looks the part --
He's got the ranch, the boots, the hat and even a few head of cattle, but everybody in Marietta, Montana, knows the former golden boy of Marietta High is a wealthy politician, not a cowboy. And even though that nasty scandal in Helena might have knocked him down a notch or two in the polls, what kind of a fool would trade access to the halls of power in Helena and a Harvard law degree for a ranch in western Montana? Possibly one whose new neighbor, Serena James--the woman the guys at Grey's Saloon call "...the Red Hot Llama Mama"--makes him start to think about what he wants out of life, instead of what's expected of him.

Serena James knows trouble when it hops her fence--
Moving to Montana and deleting her blog seemed like the perfect solution to her online stalker problem. Serena’s ready for a fresh start, but when her escrow on her ranch falls through, she has to scramble to find an immediate but temporary safe haven to rent for her herd of 50 alpacas, two llamas and one giant dog. Serena’s barely moved in when Austen Zabrinski--the man her landlord called "my absentee ranch owner brother who lives and works in Helena"--hops the fence in need of a lift. Even at first glance, Serena can tell he's nobody cowboy, but who's to say that isn't a good thing? A little tryst with her gorgeous, sexy, here-today-gone-to-Helena-tomorrow neighbor might be the perfect welcome to Montana.

Book 2: Nobody's Cowboy
My thoughts on the book:

The Millionaire Victoria Purman

What's the book about:
Renowned photographer Chris Malone is fed up with fame and disaster. All he wants is anonymity and a chance to recharge. Suburban journalist Ellie Flannery has other ideas. If she can just convince her long-time idol to support her favorite cause, she knows her fund-raiser will be a huge success.

After refusing at first, Chris decides to co-operate. When he’s forced to defend his own reputation as well as his family’s, he decides he wants something from the idealistic and sexy-but-doesn’t-know-it Ms Flannery Ellie in return: her heart.

But Ellie has scars that no one has ever seen, and she doesn’t want to open herself up to anyone, much less a man with such an unflinching eye for the truth. Can Chris convince her to strip herself bare, in more ways than one?

My thoughts on the book:
I have to say that I really like this book, its the fourth book in the series and its end in such a sweet way. You have Ellie she is a spit fire who is all about family, friends and helping everyone else. She is running to love and not such a big fun of her job. Then you have Chris he's running for everything and just wants to spend his "holiday" doing his second love. When he run into Ellie everything seems to not be going his way. He has a heart for people and loves helping others, but he has become some what jaded doing his first love, or the question is has he? In this book it keep you going and the storyline is so well written it shows the love for others while in hopes of trying to find themselves. I really liked this book a lot.

Book 2: The Hero by Amy Andrews
Book 3: The Playboy by Madeline Ash
Book 4: The Millionaire by Victoria Purman
Don’t let the names of the books fool you they are not self-absorbed characters that you will end up fed up with or annoyed by this book and the others are totally worth the read.

Will say there is strong language in this book.

Toying With His Affections, Laura K. Curtis

What's the book about:
Good girl gone bad . . .

Evie Bell couldn’t wait to get out of the small town that had labeled her a goodie two-shoes. She dreamed of showing her more daring side. Selling sex toys might not have been the career she envisioned when she left Fairview, Tennessee, to become a Las Vegas showgirl, but she’s proud of her hard-earned success. Now, forced to return to the town she’d hoped never to see again to care for her ailing aunt, she will need every bit of that pride to get along with those who disapprove of her way of life.

Bad boy gone good . . .

Griffin Barstow was given a choice at eighteen: jail or the military. He chose the military. Now he’s come home to Fairview to run for sheriff. But small towns have long memories, and the last thing he needs while trying to convince voters he’s turned his life around is an attraction to a completely inappropriate woman.

Evie would like to avoid Griffin entirely. Her aunt, however, is in financial as well as medical trouble, and Evie must take on the job of making her aunt’s shop more profitable the only way she knows how—by adding a touch of sex appeal. And when vandals make their disapproval of her changes evident, she needs the law on her side. When sparks begin to fly between Evie and Griffin, both will have to decide whether they can overcome the problems of the past to make a future together.
My thoughts on the book:

This book is hot a steamy but very much on the edge of your seat, can't put it down want to find out what happens. The whole book in of its self is pretty good. The story is about a girl who ran from home to vegas on her way to Hollywood, only once she got to vegas she never moved on. Now she's back home and faced with small town drama while trying to take care of her aunt who is "sick" and can't take care of herself. The first thing Evie does is run into Grif her high school crush and then she tries to save her aunts book store but not everyone likes what she is doing.
OMG I just love Evie and her personality just jumps off the pages, she struggles to find some self worth but over all that is such a small part of the over all story. If you are looking for a book with lots of love and fun but something that will keep your interest from page one till the end then, this is your book. Grab something to drink and enjoy this fun read.

Decadent Adrianne Lee

What's the book about:

Contractor Wade Reynolds is having a tough year. His cherry farm went bust, and his construction clients threaten to unhinge what's left of his sanity. But Wade's passion for life heats up when he's hired to remodel a new storefront next to Big Sky Pie -and he falls for the red-hot, bad girl who's setting up her catering shop there.

Fresh off her own divorce, Roxy isn't looking for another relationship, just a spontaneous fling or three. Her contractor Wade looks as delicious as her specialty confections, but he's way too buttoned-up for a casual affair. Yet there's an ultra-sexy strength about him Roxy can't resist. What that man clearly needs is something decadent-like her...
My thoughts on the book:

This book was a fun read. I love how the characters have so much chemistry, its sweet and caring but HOT with a capitol H, between them and you can feel it coming of the page. I think one of my favorite things about this book and thus far with all of Ms. Lee's book are that everything seems to be fixed with pie and a good drink or a simple beer. There is a part in the book were the men are sitting around drinking beer and eating pie and it reminds me of my Father in-law and his friends you will always find them sitting around drinking and eatin, so I feel like this could be very much real life too. I liked how she took to broken people who were not ready for much of anything and shared the story in such away that it kept you hooked till the end. You go rooting for the underdog in this book. But each person seems to deal with some rough issues but they don't wallow in it. I love how she also brought back the characters from other books and gets you caught up in there lives but doesn't go to far from the storyline to do so like I have seen other authors do. I can not wait to read more from her she has a gift for story telling and this book does a good job showing it. This book ends with a recipe and I swear a girl can never have enough pie recipes. I hope you enjoy this fun book.

Aloha Also Means Goodbye Jessica Rosenberg

What's the book about:

Jo and Jordan tied the knot five years ago in a mud hut in the middle of Zambia far from all their friends and family. Now they're in Hawaii for a big wedding vow renewal ceremony elaborately planned by Jo's mother. There's just one small issue, something’s wrong with the wedding license issued in Africa and only Jo knows that she wasn’t legally married in Zambia. Enter her old flame, the man she was running from when she met Jordan. He’s on the island and with his two kids, both of whom are named after her.

Coming face to face with her past, just as she's trying to brave her future, forces Jo to make some big decisions. It might even force her to grow up. Luckily she doesn't have to do any of it on her own; her two best friends are there to hold her hand and help her down the right path. But what path will she choose?

Despite all the upheaval and complications, Jo will eventually walk down the aisle to say “I do” to the man who completes her. But will the wedding be the one Jo's mother planned? Or will it be something much, much better?
My thoughts on the book:

This book it about 2 people who were madly in love and then loss causes them to loose touch. Then years later they run into each other on a remote Island and try and decided if they need to be back together or if something else hold the future.
Ok so I felt like there was lot going on in this book. I felt like the author was trying write 3 stories in one and to me at some point it just didn't flow right. I felt like it would have been better if she would have wrote each story separate instead of trying to squeeze JO and Jordan, Sadie and Kona, and Roxie and Andys stories together. I liked the story line over all but it did seem hard to keep up with some of the story line as well. If someone asked if I would read this book again probably not. The end also seemed to be just abrupt almost like it was opps I forgot to finish.

Acts of Contrition Jennifer Handford

What's the book about:
Mary Morrissey is living the life of her dreams. She has a loving husband of ten years, Tom, two daughters, and twin boys. Her parents are just down the road. Her three sisters are nearby. Perfect—some might even say she is living the American Dream.
But beneath the shiny veneer, Mary hasn’t taken a calm breath in years. She lives in a constant state of panic, afraid that the secret she’s kept hidden for so long will be revealed, that it will shatter the life she’s worked so hard to build.
When Mary’s handsome and addictively charismatic ex-boyfriend Landon James reappears during his high profile Senate campaign, she feels the truth bubbling to the surface and knows she’s powerless to stop it. Mary has spent years trying to forget him, and now he’s on every TV she sees.
A conditional Catholic, Mary bargains with God, negotiating deals that will keep her happy life undisturbed for another day. She prays for strength and confesses her sins—anything that might let her sleep at night under the weight of the guilt she carries from lying to her husband and family for the entirety of her marriage.
When Tom learns what Mary’s been hiding, what once seemed unfathomable—a deep, heartbreaking divide between them—is now their new normal. Can they find a way to rebuild their life together? Is forgiveness possible?
Acts of Contrition is a richly drawn story of faith, family loyalty, and forgiveness, even in the face of moral ambiguity, guilt, and shattered trust.
My thoughts on the book:
I did not like book . I think the story line was ok. I felt like the book got "good" half way through it but it did not really last long. I felt that if the author would have kept the pass part all together and the present all together it might have been a little bit better. I don't think I would read this book again. I felt by the 3 chapter I could not wait for it to get over. The book is about lies that have gone to far and the main character is trying to hard to get out of it that lead to more lies and more lies and then leads to self distraction over all the author did a ok job telling a story but it was all over the place and at some points it felt like it was repeating its self over and over again.

Forty-year-old Tara Jordan’s first book, The Perfect Marriage in 30 Days, is at the top of the bestseller lists, and her publisher wants her on a book tour ASAP. Tara’s about to live her dream only there’s one problem. Her husband of 15 years has just walked out, leaving Tara on the brink of financial ruin with no choice but to promote a self-help book about marriage when hers is secretly in ruins.

Their instant attraction blossoms quickly into love. Tara thinks she has achieved her dreams and earned her license to thrive until her husband, Jim returns determined to win her back.

My thoughts on the book:

This a very sweet romance, almost too sweet for an adult contemporary, and yet it works. So much of what I’ve read in the genre lately has steamy sex scenes which Flirting is completely devoid of.I loved the relationship these two had, pure sparks which quickly turned to love! The story line was fresh and the characters were fun to get to know. Cant wait to read more from this author in the future

Runaway Cowboy Keira Cole (The Bonifay Family Book 2)

What's the book about:

The second book in the Bonifay Family series by Keira Cole, following Come and Get It

As one of the youngest Bonifays, Rebecca suffered the most when her parents died, but with the strength of her close-knit Texas family behind her, she came through it and now helps run the Bonifay ranch and her own horse rescue operation. She’s also matured into a sexy and beautiful woman with an itch that needs scratching. Setting her sights on Jesse English, the dark cowboy who’s recuperating at the ranch, Rebecca decides it’s time to stop letting her older siblings call the shots and start taking charge of her own desires.

Jesse is a drifter through and through. Orphaned at a young age, he’s seen the worst of state care and foster homes, and he knows better than to put down roots in any one place for long. Scarred by his drug-addled father, he knows he’s not good-looking enough for a woman like Rebecca, and with nothing to offer her, he just wants to get healthy at the ranch and move on before he gets hurt again.

As Jesse begins to heal and Rebecca makes it more than clear that she wants the moody and ruggedly handsome cowboy to be her first, he has to fight every impulse he has as a man to keep her at a distance. But there’s no denying the headstrong beauty or the raging passion building between them, and as the two struggle with their conflicting needs they discover a stronger connection that just might give them both the chance to mend their damaged hearts.
My thoughts on the book:

Wow if I could only use one word to describe this book it would have to be HOT. This is such a short book but packed with so much. The story was well written. I love how it keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting to know whats going to happen next. You can feel the sexual chemistry coming off the pages between the characters, don't get me wrong this book is not completely about sex its got a really great storyline about a cowboy who feels like he doesn't belong and a cowgirl who feels like its her job to make sure everything and everyone belongs. If you are looking for a steamy read but a quick read I would have to say this is your book.

It's a lesson he learns all too well when he goes incommunicado for a four-week fishing trip to Alaska. While he's away, his mother Molly turns his office into the pie shop she has always dreamed of, Big Sky Pie. But that's not the only surprise in store for him.

As Callee and Quint rediscover their recipe for love, they realize that some couples are so sinfully good together that one delectable taste is never enough
My thoughts on the book:

This book is about 2 people who have so much loss and they are they are now experiencing the loss of love for each other, or are they. Quint is just back from a fishing trip and Callie is on the way out of town to finally follow her dream, when someone close to them someone they both love so deeply ends up in the hospital with a life or death situation. Will they be able to set the past aside and find the love the once had while helping a new business off the ground, or will it be a little to late?
I really liked this book I felt that the story line was well written. At no point did I feel like when is this book going to end. The chemistry between the main characters was so amazing and so realistic and very sizzling. I love how the author makes you feel like these are people you know. Somebody Like You is a beautifully rendered, affecting novel, reminding us that while we can’t change the past, we have the choice to change the future and start anew.

My thoughts on the book:
This book is amazing, I had a hard time wanting to put it down and actually get some housework done....lol! This book is about loss and love and healing. Where two people have fallen in love and then Haley looses the love of her life to an on going war in Afghanistan. Why she lives with they guilt of a secret she kept from him in hopes to tell him face to face. When she is brought face to face with Sam her husbands past and she doesn't know what to do but push and try to out run her guilt and try not to get to close to her husband past.

I don't want to give to much away I can say that this book with get to the heart of the matter, my emotions were drug through the ringer with this little story between the heartbreak of Haley and losing Sam, then Stephen’s guilt and sadness over never making amends with his mirror twin. Studs and Stilettos Bev Petterson

What's the book about:
Emily Murphy isn't afraid to swap her fancy wardrobe for a borrowed pair of barn boots. Working on the set of a Kentucky movie might be just the ticket to landing a real acting job and proving to her sister she can accomplish something worthwhile.
Dan Barrett knows a lot about hard work and even more about horses. And while he's drawn by Emily's beauty and pluck, he wants a stay-at-home ranch girl. But fighting their attraction is difficult, and soon they both realize that what they thought they wanted isn't what they really need.
Unfortunately, Dan isn't the only person watching Emily. And the other one is a ruthless killer determined to keep a secret buried.
My thoughts on the book:
Ok so I saw this was a sequel so I went and got the first book as I read it I was like omg I was not a fan but I wanted and hoped that is was a little better. I started the book out and it was a slow go at first. If you can can get to chapter 8 the book picks up and it gets really good. The book is way better the book one. It goes up and down but the downs are a lot less. The book is about Emily who is working to find a job in the movie industry to show her sister that she can be a individual and not have to rely on her and her husband. When she finally thinks she has a break she starts to realize maybe this is not what she wants, maybe she needs to look at this a little bit different. The author did an amazing Job telling Emily and Dans story as well as the other characters in the story. I can't say this was just Emily and Dan's story because there was another storyline going on at the same time. The way that both stories were told was done well and did not take away from the other. Like I said if you can just get past the first part of the book this is a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat to the end and you will find your self not wanting to put the book down until its done. I am now getting ready to get book three of this series just to find out whats going on this Burke and Jenna, and Emily and Burke.

Elderberry Croft: The Complete Collection Becky Doughty

What's the book about:
The Coach House Trailer Park is the last stop down the road of life for most of its residents. But a new girl sweeps into the neighborhood, charming them all with her wild nature, her elderberry gifts, and her outrageous laughter. What brings the mysterious Willow Goodhope of Elderberry Croft to this dead end place? From what—or whom—is she hiding?

ELDERBERRY CROFT: The Complete Collection (all twelve episodes) is the tale of one woman’s journey toward hope and healing, and the people whose lives she transforms along the way.

(Below is the extended blurb – if you can include it, great. If not, the short one above is fine!)

JANUARY BREEZE: There’s a new girl in town, and she’s breathing life into The Coach House Trailer Park, starting with the tiny cottage she christens Elderberry Croft. Kathy isn’t so sure about this wild child living across the way, with her generosity and exuberance for life. What is Willow Goodhope doing in a place like The Coach House?

FEBRUARY EMBERS: Richard and Patti Davis' days stretch out endlessly before them, but lately, Richard has taken notice of the new neighbor in Space #12. Will Patti lose the only man she’s ever loved to the green-eyed earth girl? Or will Willow steal both their hearts?

MARCH WHISPERS: Joe Sanderson believes that living simply is simply better living. He gardens, he cooks, he entertains Vivian. Everything is going just fine...then along comes Ms. Willow, with her whispering shadows and her elderberry pie, reminding him of what it means to be a man.

APRIL SHADOWS: The Cat Lady rarely sets foot outside her trailer during the light of day. But one morning, Willow shows up at her door, knocking her perfectly-ordered world off its axis. And when the stillness is further interrupted by the Shadowman, Shelly must confront her past in order to embrace her future.

MAY ENCHANTMENT: Managing The Coach House keeps Eddie busy, if not exactly fulfilled. But the new girl, with her red hair and crazy laugh, is stirring up the neighborhood. Willow's making waves, and Eddie's a little swept off his feet, too. When he comes face to face with the Shadowman in the middle of the night, Eddie questions everything he thought he knew about himself.

JUNE MELODY: Myra believes her doctor when he says she’s going to die, but when she encounters a deadly rattlesnake, she realizes that maybe she needs to start living again, rather than spending her last years sitting around waiting to die.

JULY MADNESS: Donny Banks is trouble with a big T. Edith keeps hoping if she helps her baby out one more time, he’ll get his head on straight. But big brother Eddie has had enough. This time, Donny’s knocking on the wrong door—one that belongs to Willow—and Eddie's having none of it.

AUGUST MEMORIES: Al's job keeps him busy during the day, and his Bud keeps him company at night. But Al is a prisoner of his past, and when one phone call changes his future, Al must choose to do the right thing. To his surprise, Willow Goodhope may just hold the key that will set him free.

SEPTEMBER LONGING: Prudence loves animal prints, big hair, and red nails. She also loves her man, Carney, but is beginning to wonder if he feels the same about her. When Willow Goodhope shows up needing a friend, Prudence gets the chance to reevaluate what’s important when it comes to matters of the heart.

OCTOBER MOURNING: The baby growing in Andrea's womb is a miracle, and she marvels at the way she’s changing from the inside out. But when faced with the knowledge that she can no longer manage on her own, will her pride allow her to receive help from Willow?

NOVEMBER AWAKENING: A Vietnam Vet, Doc suffers from severe post-traumatic stress, debilitating episodes that send him back to the bottle time and time again. When he discovers Willow on the verge of giving in to her own despair, he finds unexpected solace in stepping outside his comfort zone to comfort her.

DECEMBER DAWNING: It’s been almost a year since Willow moved into Elderberry Croft, and she can no longer ignore the shadows that drove her here. Is there hope for a new tomorrow?

My thoughts on the book:
I love each story and I love how each story is tied to each other. I love how some of the characters are eccentric and just not quiet sure. But together they come slowly but surely as a community. Such a fun read. It was also nice that all the books we in this one book so that you could just keep reading and not have to stop and hunt down the next book. This book is worth the buy forsure

Trail of Guilt: The Trail Series (Volume 2) Rebecca Tust

What's the book about:

Chelsea Turner barely managed to survive at the hands of a psychotic stalker. She is still fighting inner demons when circumstances force her into hiding with the one man she's desperately trying to avoid: sinfully handsome, confirmed bachelor, Blake Harrington. As Blake Harrington's boat explodes, killing two of his closest friends, he is certain it wasn't an accident. Convinced he's still in danger, Blake pulls the stubborn radio announcer, Chelsea Turner, into hiding with him and turns to his old college friend, Special Agent Nicholas Braun, for help. As Blake, Chelsea, and Nicholas search for answers, they find someone is ruthlessly determined to keep secrets buried. As they discover a trail of lies and deceit, will they be able to expose the truth before more lives are lost? Trail of Guilt is a contemporary story with a tantalizing blend of romance, intrigue and suspense.

My thoughts on the book:

Ok I have never read anything by Rebecca Tust, but I will say after reading this book I will be buying more of her books. This book is about a girl who has been stalked and now she has a friend who it appears to be going through something very similar. While Chelsea is living with the after effects of being attacked with her best friend she has guilt over putting her best friend into a situation that gets them both attacked. Blake who comes in to convince Chelsea she is causing alot of issues avoiding everyone. Blake celebrates his birthday and convinces his friends to come out for the day of fun that saturday, when all hell brakes loose. This book doesn't have a slow part in it. I thought at one point it was coming to and end only to be so wrong. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and you will not want to put it down. I did not know that this was part of a series and now I am wanting to go back and read book one, I will say that you will catch up with some of what happeneded in this book but I would recommend read book one so you are not left with a few questions.
I will say at first I though oh man there are to many characters in this book its going to be hard to keep up with every one and everything going one, boy was I wrong the author did an amazing job with this storyline and you will not go wrong with this book.

Essence Mackenzie Lucas

What's the book about:

All Haven Jameson ever wanted was to own a little piece of paradise. Now, she does, having established a successful luxury spa in St. Augustine, Florida. But when the property next door is sold to a mega developer and his pro-golf celebrity brother who design trendy, bustling playgrounds for the rich and famous, she fears her dream could slip away. In the end, Haven discovers that living a safe, loveless life is far worse than embracing passion and taking a chance on a man who’s vowed never to love again.

My thoughts on the book:

Ok wow where do I begin. This story starts off with two best friends who truly have lost everything and they have fought through life's trials to open their dream spa. As they are getting off the ground the find out that two brothers are buying the land next to theirs for a resort. When Haven finds out more hurt and betrayal and now has to work through the pain.
I liked the story line it draws you in and keeps you to the end of the book not a really dull moment in the book. Lots of steamy moments for sure in the book. I think the only downside I had with the book was all the cursing I think that it could have been just as a good book without a gd coming out of there mouth every time. I would not let that deter you from read a good love story

Don't Let Go Sharla Lovelace

What's the book about:
Noah Ryan and Jules Doucette spent every moment together, first as best friends and later as young lovers. The two had planned a life together—until one unspeakable decision tore them apart for good.
Twenty-six years later, Jules is still carefully living the life her mother planned out for her. She’s running her mother’s store, living in her mother’s house, following her mother’s rules, and keeping the secrets her mother made her bury.
Then Noah comes home and any sense of an ordered life flies out the window. Noah’s return does more than just stir up old memories—it forces Jules to see her life in a whole new way and uncovers secrets even she didn’t know were buried. Secrets that could easily destroy her world once more.
My thoughts on the book:
Have you ever felt like you lost everything you ever wanted and loved? Only to find it coming back to haunting you all at once years later and you feel like life is out of control. Well thats the story of this book and how Jules' feels.
I really liked this book. At first I thought oh great this is going to be another book with to much info but that quickly proved me wrong. There is not one thing in the book that should be taken away or it would not make the book what it is. I love how the author dealt with a lot of heart of the matter stuff. Got right to the point but did an amazing job of telling a really great story. Each character in the book had a purpose and you could tell was not just placed there to fill an empty part in the story line like some authors do. I will say I usually do not read books where the person is telling the story but more a narrative type but this book was well done so I didn't mind. If you are looking for a fun story with lots of twist and turns leaves you guessing but still a fun read then this is the book for you .Glad to see the author is writing what looks like a follow up to this story in the summer, can't wait to read it.

As Jenny and Gabe bring new passion to the old house, can she convince him to leave the ghosts of his past behind-and make Last Chance their first choice for a future together?
My thoughts on the book:
I could not get enough of this book. The book is about a teacher who decided to stop teaching and start her dream job of running an inn.  When she is months away from opening things start to get really interesting and at first it goes unexplained. In the mean time the old bittys in town are up to there gossip and matchmaking ways. This book is a book you find your self not wanting to put down there are no downs in this book with every turn of the page it leaves you wanting so much more. When you start to think that the book is going to slow for just a sec think again the book has a twist or a turn coming all the way up to the end of the book. I have to say that I can not wait to read more from this author. I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did.

Part of A Year of Wedding Novella series
In A January Bride by Deborah Raney, what will happen when novelist Madeleine Houser’s “pen pal” friendship with a lonely widower takes an unexpected turn?
Who can work in a house that's overrun by contractors and carpenters? Not Madeleine Houser, a successful novelist who gladly accepts the help of her octogenarian friend, Ginny, to arrange for a temporary office in the charming bed and breakfast owned by Ginny's friend, Arthur. To Maddie's alternate delight and chagrin, she seems to be falling for the inn's owner - a man who's likely many years her senior - and who she's never even met.

My thoughts on the book:
I love this sweet love story, about two people who didn't see it coming but still found time to bless who they thought may be someone different and find love for themselves as well as others. I know this is a novella but my only wish was that the story was longer this is a great and fun read. I can't wait to read more A year of the wedding books

Falling for the Prodigal Son Julia Gabriel

What's the book about:
A sweet summer romance set on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay A wealthy heir ...

All Sterling Matthew wants is to get his family's resort back on sound financial footing—and then leave sleepy St. Caroline for good. He expected the inn's staff to resist the radical business changes he has to make. What he didn't expect was to find skinny, gawky Lucy Wyndham all grown up.

A woman who's pulled herself up by the bootstraps ...

For years, Lucy wondered whether she'd ever catch another glimpse of the tall, quiet boy she'd crushed on at the Chesapeake Inn's summer camp for disadvantaged kids. Now he's her boss—and the attraction is just as strong. When Sterling informs her that the camp must be eliminated to improve the resort's bottom line, Lucy embarks on an ambitious campaign to save it—even if the price is her job ... and her heart.

And a teenage infatuation that's all grown up.

My thoughts on the book:
I have to say overall this book was pretty good. The book it self along with the storyline sucks you in and you find yourself lost on this amazing little island and the life on ST. Charlie. Now that being said the two main characters have a lot of chemistry between them, however the there is some chemistry between the one main character and some of the others. This is a really great summer read. The camp creates a friendship so deep between a bunch of people and I think that is so true I went to camp and I remember the friendships so you find your self sucked in that way as well. Over all I had a hard time putting this book down. I was not really happy with the way the book comes to end though I feel that it leaves you to figure out what happened. I think to have done and epilogue and finish the story off would have been a better end then just living it to the reader.

I was given a copy of this book from netgalley for my honest opinion
